Tachibana Higuchi (樋口橘, HIGUCHI Tachibana), born 1976-03-16 , is a Japanese manga artist. In year 1996, she first made her debut work in Bessatsu Hana to Yume's 5th issue, entitled 5 Gatsu no Sakura (『5月のサクラ』?).
During an interview with Tokyopop, she gave a detailed account of how she started as a mangaka.
"I first submitted a manga story a while after I graduated from high school. Up until then I was studying for the entrance examinations for the Art University, and as part of that, I sometimes drew manga and four-panel strip comics for fun.
"Because I was conscious of the fact that I had started drawing manga in earnest at a later age, I think my progress during the beginning on drawing and storytelling techniques was fast as I frantically tried to absorb everything I could learn about creating manga. After the serialization of the story began, as I got busy, I was so desperate to submit it on time that I feel that the drawings probably haven’t improved much compared to before. During the serialization of the manga, I think my story telling techniques improved more as I concerned myself with how to catch the attention of the readers, how well one can incorporate what the readers are seeking into the story."
Her current ongoing work is Gakuen Alice.

Haber, este manga que es como una continuación de la historia original, no se porque aparece como una edición aparte pero bueno...
Hablemos de Kageki no Kuni Alice: "La Academia Alice es una famosa escuela exclusiva para niños con Alice, niños con poderes especiales. Es la escuela de música afiliada, la Academia de Ópera Alice, ahora se abre a los estudiantes regulares también. El hermano de Hikari tiene una Alice y es un estudiante de la Academia Alice. Ella decide inscribirse en la escuela. Allí ella está emparejada con Shinomiya Ema, una estudiante con un secreto ..."
Cuando me entere que era como una continuación por asi decirle pegue al grito al cielo pero ahora les voy aclarando que no es una continuacion como tal, Hikari, la protagonista en esta historia es la hermana menor de Tsubasa, uno de los personajes principales en Gakuen Alice, me parecio una buena movida de la autora porque de Tsubasa en si no sabiamos nada asi que pusiera que tuviera una hermana, no afecto mucho. Se que muchos fans de Gakuen Alice vinieron corriendo porque claro luego de tremendo final 🥲 queriamos más pero desde ahora les digo que esta obra esta enfocada en Hikari que es una NO alice y entra de pura casualidad a esta academia de opera en un intento de encontrar a su hermano, que podria decirse que es como un nuevo "Local" o "institución" ademas de dejarnos ver como Gakuen Alice y su sistema estricto cambio, una historia aparte pero dejandonos ver los rastros de la obra anterior (WEY! Mi fangirl interior hecho corazones y convulsiones de felicidad al ver a los antiguos personajes, primero Narumi, luego Tsubasa, Misaki, Mikan, Natsume! Deos como si ese hombre no me pudiera enamorar más 💖 AGRADECIDA CON EL DE ARRIBA 😭✨)
No esta nada mal, esta cortito (17 caps) y ese extra... TACHIBANA, O TERMINAS ACLARANDO LO QUE PASO CON IMAI O NO TE PERDONO QUE HAYAS PUESTO ESE EXTRA QUE TODO FAN DEJA PICADO. Porque razón pones ese extra si no quieres terminar la hisotria? 🤯
Por los comentarios que lei, muchos fans (yo inclida) aun te tenemos fe que escribas lo que paso aunque ahora estas metida en otro manga pero weno, capaz cuando termines con esa te animes a aclararnoslo pls? PLEASE!!!
Quiero leer más mangas de la autora de verdad pero NO SE PORQUE MRD NO ENCUENTRO NINGUNO YA SEA EN INGLES O EN JAPONES EN INTERNET, a ese nivel de desesperación estamos. Espero estar viva cuando por regalo del cielo pueda leer alguna otra obra suya 🥺💖

Honestly, this manga was a bit disappointing after reading Gakuen Alice. The story follows Tsubasa's younger sister Hikari who enters the the other side of Alice Academy that doesn't require you to have an Alice. It ended on such an abrupt way that I feel like should have been addressed such as the mystery with Hotaru as it mentions in Ch. 5 that Hikari is the key to finding Hotaru. Another mystery unaddressed is why Emma's older brother is targetting him.
It was definitely a joy to see Mikan and Natsume and the rest of the gang interact (and Bear! T^T), but I feel like this series could have had so much potential to answering the questions we all had about the ending of Gakuen Alice that it should have answered. I honestly wasn't expecting to see Mikan so much in the manga which I am so grateful for, but it led me to have false expectations that Hotaru's arc would be apparent.
It was definitely a joy to see Mikan and Natsume and the rest of the gang interact (and Bear! T^T), but I feel like this series could have had so much potential to answering the questions we all had about the ending of Gakuen Alice that it should have answered. I honestly wasn't expecting to see Mikan so much in the manga which I am so grateful for, but it led me to have false expectations that Hotaru's arc would be apparent.
