I'm just having the worst reading month ever.
That aside, this book started okay-ish. I didn't expect 4/5 stars-read but I thought I would at least have a little bit of fun ridiculing and having some substance to talk about. This book was so dull I didn't remember anything happened.

World famous model Alexis is in China for a modeling gig when she meets world famous rockstar Rian. They end up stranded there for a few days and with the attraction between them they have a hot fling but go their separate ways. Back in New York they reconnect but it doesn’t work out because he is in a fake relationship and she doesn’t want to ruin his career so she walks away. Loved this romance with two people who were meant to be together has fate kept throwing them together and the sweet surprises was the icing on the cake.

How To Have Surprise Quadruplets is the second book in the How To... series and is the story of Alexis Taylor and Rian Cassidy. She is a top model and he is a rock star, so of course they are attracted to each other the moment they meet. Add in the Great Wall of China, stranded together and a one night of some fun and you end up with four babies.
This is another charming and entertaining story by Layla Valentine that is a nice reading experience.

Top Model since she was 16 Alexis Taylor meets Rock Star Rian Cassady at the Great Wall of China. Both of them are doing photo shoots. Alexis and Rian have an immediate attractions to each other. They get stranded in China while an airline strike is going on. They have one night of sex!!
The story was pretty good. I just didn't see any real connect with having Quads together in the story. That doesn't become apparent until the very end of the story. But overall I liked the story. It moves fast and I really like both Rian and Alexis.

Alexis meets Rian when she walks onto the photo shoot for his band after she finishes hers in China. Sparks fly between them but they end up meeting up again when they are locked out of the hotel and have to find another way in. They end up spending some time together being crazy in the hotel after drinking a bit. The next day they wake up with stuff that belong to the another person. When a strike causes them to be grounded longer they ended up getting closer and spend the night together. Alexis leaves before Rian wakes up and they go back to their lives. However she never forgets him and wants to get in touch only to learn he has a girlfriend so she tries to move on. However when she gets some surprising news things change and she needs to contact him for another reason. Rian thinks Alexis doesn't want to be with him to he continues on with his fake relationship the label set up until a news article scandal tells him otherwise. Will Rian reach out to Alexis? Can they be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review
Here we see 2 well known people from different genres. We have model Alexis Taylor & the lead singer Rian.
They're both individually over in China on photo shoots when they meet & they become close in the very short time they're in shut down in the hotel they both are in. And it only takes a few drinks for them to take the leap to go to want they have been seeking 😉
Then they go back to their own lives which Alexis wants out of & when she sees him next he's sitting with his female base guitarist, which is said that they're a couple.
So we hear how things are going in their lives & how they're not able to contact each other even when IT'S REALLY needed to, but when she tells someone who she didn't think would sell her story before she can tell Rian himself the 3rd party sells it & that is the way He finds out.
So we see how things are able to work out & turn around for them both, not just in their personal life but in their professional lives.

Model, Rock-star and Four babies - what more do you need! This is the second book of the "How To" series and I have to say it was great love story. This story is about Alexis and Rian. Alexis is the model who happens to walk into a shoot where they are shooting Rian's new album. Well get stuck together and the love affair begins, but then they go on their separate routes only for Alexis to find out later that she is pregnant. She then tries to notify him, but she cannot even get help from their own agents. She tries on her own and that is a journey of itself when the man she loves is being portrayed to have a love relationship with someone else just to help their careers out. There is love, adventure, and forgiveness between two who want it all. This is a must read and as with all of Lalya's books this was has a HEA.

4 Times the Fun
I enjoyed this book by Layla Valentine about Alexis, a 26 year old model who knows her time is nearly up in front of the camera, and Rian a 29 year old band member who is steadily growing tired of living a lie and having someone else orchestrate his life. They meet in China, where they are both on photo shoots. When there is a glitch with getting out of the country, they wind up in China, together an extra week, and the two experience life changing decisions. There weren’t many surprises with the storyline, but the characters were certainly so lovable. My only complaint was that I would have loved a bit more background information on the main characters. This sweet romance certainly left a smile on my face.

This was a phenomenally flirty, witty, and passionate new book from Layla Valentine. Alexis is a model who wants to follow her dreams of photography. Rian is a famous rock star who wants more than to be a pawn in his record labels game. When Alexis and Rian meet sparks fly and an instant connection forms. Life intervenes and the couple are forced apart, but will fate work her magic to bring them together again? How To Have Surprise Quadruplets is a beautifully well written story filled with secrets, heartache, passion, friendship, and love with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I absolutely loved this book.

I read to the 30% point, where two thirty year old adults were chasing each other around a hotel, stealing products off the supply cart, splattering each other with chocolate and whipped cream, while running through the hallways like 5 year olds.
I may have found this great fun—when I was 8. If mom wasn’t there to stop me.
Had she been there, she would have explained to me that somebody else would have to clean up the mess I had chosen to make. And that they would not find it quite as funny, or cute.
I would have considered her point, and had to agree.
Not so, these two adults.
They were too childish, and frankly, too stupid, to be funny, to me.
This was a ‘no’ for me, and not a book I would recommend.

I loved this story about Alexi who is a famous model but she would prefer to be behind the camera she meets Rian who is a rockstar when Alexi walks right into his photo shoot, Rian realises that it’s the beautiful model Alexi Taylor. They meet up again at the hotel where they are staying they are told by their agents that they are stuck there because of an airline strike so they spend a few days together and they end up having a hot night together then they go their seperate ways until Alexi gets some news but she has no way to contact Rian. Loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

The story is sweet, fun and completely entertaining. I really enjoyed reading it, but it took me a while to get into the story. In the most unlikeliest of circumstances and series of events, Rian & Alexis each find in the other the other half to their souls & the calm to their storms.
It took awhile to get into their story, though. I felt the first initial chapters on Alexis were too repetitive and drawn out. I ended up enjoying the remaining chapters, though, as the couple's relationship developed. I even liked the way the author crafted the drama.
This is a cute romance.

Another great fun read from the very talented Layla Valentine she always writes over the top fun romances that are perfect relaxation

Rian and Alexis characters are very well characterized and with that comes hurdles to overcome. Layla is an amazing author who can draw you into the story and the characters from the first page. Make sure you have a few free hours because the minute you start to read it, you will not be able to put it down.

An enjoyable read from Layla Valentine. The characters are fantastic along with the well written story. The author has done a wonderful job pulling the reader in to the story and you don't want to stop reading it. There's drama, hurdles the characters have to get over and surprises along the way. This book does come with one warning - you won't be able to put it down once you start reading it.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. The chemistry between Alexis and Rian is unbelievable, the twist and turns, the emotional rollercoaster ride and the happy times with the team work and the four bundles of joy.

A charming read as only Ms. Valentine can put out, one with all the "feels"; romance personified. I breezed through this novel in one sitting. The story line was interesting, original and sigh, over before I knew it. This is what reading fabulous romance is all about.

Brilliant book, great story line. Model Alexis and Singer Rian, gets stranded in a hotel during a photoshoot. They have incredible chemistry. They cannot forget each other when they get back and when Alexis finds out she is pregnant, she reaches out to him. They get their second chance at happiness. Five stars from me.

An absolutely fantastic fast pace engaging page turner that will draw you in from the first page and hold you captivated until the end! It is well written, emotionally deep, witty, funny, and is quite enjoyable with lots of ups and downs. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is amazing. A recommended read!

This is a well-written story that has well developed characters and a couple that does not rush their romance. The story is sweet and I liked how they took their time to get know each other. I liked them starting off as strangers, then into friends. Then lastly into lovers. That turned into marriage. With 4 babies. A Good Read

Okay...can I just say that Rian is my new book boyfriend. God, I loved him. He was so sweet, kind, empathic, cute, and sexy. The whole package.
And Alexis was also so gracious, sweet, relatable, empathetic, and beautiful inside and out.
This is my favorite book that has ever been written by Layla Valentine.
This was the perfect book to get out of any book slump...which I have been in and out of throughout the summer.

Another beautifully written book by Layla! Alexis is a stubborn women with walls as high as her stilettos, and Rian’s so different. They are so cute together and I can see they have real feelings, but will their careers get in the way?

I will admit that the title of the book didn't entice me but I like Layla Valentine stories so I picked it up. It's a little crazy, lots sexy, and cute. The story line is so crazy that it works. I can't write too much to avoid spoilers but it was a fun read to get me to relax.
