This was a great read with characters that are well developed and engaging and have chemistry. The storyline is well written and flows smoothly from page to page.

I was not expecting what I got with this book. Based on the description, I expected more Daddy Dom/lg. What dominated the book was the tribal, spiritual theme, as well as the demon hunting and defeating.

I did not read the first book, so I am not sure if this is a continuing theme of not. I feel like the whole Daddy Dom thing took a back seat. Not saying that was bad, it just was not the main focus of the book. I did feel a sense of coming in on a story that had already begun.

I thought the tribal ceremonies, the Cascadia hounds with their lavender colored eyes, the ceremonial baskets, etc. was all interesting. Since that was the focus, I would have been happy with more detail about the tribe, ceremony, healing practices, etc.

There were some steamy scenes between Gavin and Ariana, but I didn't get a sense of connection between them. It seemed superficial to me. I'm not sure of her age of the age difference between Ariana and Gavin. Ariana seemed flighty, even if she did have her own business.

I'm not sure they completely got their HEA, as I'm not sure the demons are completely vanquished. I also don't think Ariana released whatever powers she was supposed to have either. I would give this book 2.5 stars. It was ok.

So this was a free ARC copy from the author and booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this read and I really enjoyed it! Once I started reading I just couldn't stop til I finished it, because I had to see how it all ended.I thought it had a great storyline and great characters to read about, plus it was sizzling hot.I really enjoy a good paranormal romance read, that's also sizzling hot with a dominant male/a submissive to, mmmm.All rolled into one great read! I so look forward to seeing more from this author in the future because I really enjoyed her work!!!

Ariana‘s online store is a huge success. But now she has received photos taken from her last relationship. These images if published could ruin her reputation. Now her life long friend Gavin Tucker is home again but he is now the new medical director of the town. He is gorgeous and Ariana is attracted to him.

Gavin has returned to his town as the spiritual healer of the native people and while he was away, he learned his sexual kinks and mastered them and now he has come for Ariana. Then some ancient artefacts have been stolen and it seems to be an inside job. They plan to solve this theft together, but don’t realise exactly how dangerous it really is.

They do their investigation thing right alongside their exploration of each other’s bodies. There are multiple episodes of steaming sheets and demon fighting. Not a bad story really.

This was an interesting story. I couldn't put it down. This is the first book that I have read by Olivia Fox but I am looking forward to reading more by her. It was a great story and I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

Ariana is doing well with her business when her past came back to haunt her. Her childhood friend is back as the clinic doctor and tribe healer. When sacred baskets are taken from the clinic that are tied to her family lines, they work together to get them back. Gavin has wanted her for a while now and was just waiting for a chance to be with her. Ariana and Gavin discover a connection that goes deeper than friendship. Will they be able to discover what is going on lately?

Our hero is the tribal healer and our heroine is having troubles with demons. Seems like the need each other more than either one realizes.

I am going to call this a paranormal romance story with elements of D/S. I say that because romance takes a backseat to the mystery and paranormal action of the story, which was okay with me, but your mileage may vary. I found the story to be well written and fun to read as I really enjoy reading about the paranormal from a native American perspective. I also really enjoyed the characters and the way their relationship developed. Overall, it was a fun read and I look forward to more from this author.

I like Paranormal and I quite like a dominant male so the two together should have been fine. However, it wasn't what I expected so it took me awhile to get into the story. I kept thinking |I had a book corruption at first so I took myself back to the beginning and reread. Once I had it in my head this book had several strands to the story I did enjoy it. I did however not like was the daddy referencing. For that reason alone I struggled to enjoy it more. Thanks, as an ARC reviewer I appreciate the gift of your time and hard work

Ariana & Gavins

Loved the Sizzling chemistry, dark desires and scorching heat are paired beautifully with a dramatic and engaging storyline that grab my attention and hold on to it brutally tight! Right from the very first tantalizing jaw-dropping page I was dragged into this original,suspenseful,erotic,magnificent read , what a tasty treat at the end of a long work day!!

I can definitely say this story is original. Never before have I read a story about a tribal medicine man who has healing powers and helps hunt down demon possessed people. The Daddy/lg themes took a backseat to the demon hunting, which is too bad because Gavin’s dirty talk was good. I also found Ariana’s character to be immature.

Gavin and Ariana have been friends since childhood. Their paths diverged only to be drawn together later in life. Gavin is now a tribal healer and Ariana a small business owner. Their chemistry has not diminished in the years gone by and they strike up a daddy dom/sub relationship amongst the drama of the tribal community. I enjoyed the unique take on the relationship and the story in general.

This started off different and continued on. Lol...Ariana is having a party celebrating her company's first year. Gavin, the new doctor and a medicine man of his tribe, is her childhood friend and they realize they are interested in one another. They are also working on solving the missing native baskets. This was a very unique story for me. Gavin and Ariana have known each other since childhood. She's back home, making a go of her business. He comes back as a trained tribal healer. She brings out the protective daddy dom in Gavin like no one else has. They work on their budding relationship in the midst of evil demons. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more.

This book is superbly written. The story pulled me in from the first page and I was engrossed until the end. The story line is gripping, exciting, and well thought out. There is mystery, suspense, humour, adventure, and very steamy moments. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts! Definitely recommended!

But the daddy Dom elements of the genre where sub par the cultural references about the native American tribe was more interesting i wanted more of it 😍! The steamy scenes were amazing but they felt flat for me like it wasn't the time for that I still finished lol I'll admit I skipped some pages which i hate

Just about the time Ariana and Gavin rediscover each other a significant thief is discovered and they along with others from their tribe try to solve the mystery. The thief leads them into a battle with a demon and werebear. There is plenty of danger, excitement and erotic interaction between Ariana and Gavin to make this an interesting read.

I absolutely loved the daddy dom romance. It has all the dominating and loving elements you could ask for. I love the combination of the paranormal and contemporary aspects. Characters are very likable and the premise is believable. I am very excited to read more from this author!

When you are told that this is a Daddy/lg book I guess that's what you expect. This had some of that element in it but mostly more of a paranormal storyline to it. This is a confusing read from the beginning. There is no real lead up as to who they are, where they are from and what is the problem. No background stories. I really like the first two reads about Daddy's but this one I wasn't engaged enough.

WOW what a great book! This was not the kind of book that I usually read, but WOW. I loved the way the author tells you the story of the main characters. I usually take two to three days to read a book but this one I read in one day, once I started I couldn't stop until the end. I highly recommend this book!

My first time reading this author has been an enjoyable one. I was able to enjoy reading this book despite having not read book 1 in the series. I enjoyed the dynamics between the 2 main characters. Adding some paranormal to the plot was a bonus for me.
