They bought her. They own her. Now they are going to get their money's worth.
Eighteen-year-old Karen Hunter spent money she didn't have and now she must pay the price. She has been sold to a group of ten wealthy men, and under her society's strict laws on debt repayment, her beautiful, virgin body is theirs to use and enjoy in any way they desire.
Karen wasn't cheap, but as far as her new owners are concerned, she was worth every penny. Her cheeks blush delightfully as she is stripped bare for an intimate, thorough examination and her bottom reddens wonderfully under the strap when she earns herself a punishment. But best of all is the way her body betrays her as she is taken over and over in the most shameful of ways, leaving no doubt that despite her protests she is getting exactly what she has always needed.
Publisher's Note:Theirs to Use includes spankings, sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.
Emily Tilton, whose books have hit number one on Amazon in six different erotica categories, wishes she could live out her fantasies of submission the way her characters do.
Emily's erotica is a narrative version of her nearly lifelong quest to reconcile her submissive erotic orientation with her ethics. She writes erotic romance, but her books are always frankly and unashamedly about sex, because writing about sex helps her understand that fundamental part of her life better. She hopes maybe it does the same for her readers.
Over the many years since Emily became aware of her sometimes unbearable craving for spanking, ravishment, and all the shameful things that go with it, she has tried to come to terms with that craving in more ways than she can count. The first of the ways was by reading, voraciously, every piece of BDSM erotica she could find.
Eventually, she read "Story of O." As is reflected throughout her work, it changed her life, though the change has been gradual, and continues to this day. The idea that other women might share the lusts she has by turns been ashamed of and defiantly proud of, that a woman like the real Pauline Réage might write so beautifully of those lusts, and work them out so thoroughly and even pitilessly on a character, put Réage's famous pencil in her right hand. Or, to put it in the terms of EXPLORATIONS, which she considers her magnum opus, it put her left hand on the keyboard of her laptop and her right hand in her lap, if you know what she means. Emily started to write spanking stories.
When you spend money that is not yours to spend...
You end up in corporate prison, where they groom you to be able to pay up your debt...to whom ever buys out your debt
And then...you are fucked...truly fucked
That s what happened to Karen Hunter...
She made a debt, was bought to pay it up to 10 wealthy corporate moguls in any depraved and degrading sexual way they wanted...for three years
And voila, there's S.E.X. very explicit, non-committing sexual exploit, so if that's your guilty pleasure, no judgement there, but DO NOT expect any romance...cause only carnal basic and not particulary sensual sexual proclivities take place here...so, your choice😉
Within five minutes of reading this book I was sick to my stomach. I was utterly disgusted that this "erotic" story was published. In this story people are sent to prison for not being able to pay their debts. Karen is imprisoned where it is legal for men to come and rape women and beat them for not wanting to be raped. Also her "owners" predilections were no better than a terrorist. I doubt I will ever read anything else from this sham of an author.
I love Emily Tilton's books! When it comes to exploring dark fantasies, she's unflinching. (If this story were happening in real life, it would be SO WRONG.) But for the characters in her merciless societies, being bought and used is part of the what turns them, and you feel that as you read. Ms. Tilton's stories are dark, filthy, and incredibly sexy. She is such a talent!
For this story, Emily Tilton sketches a society where corporate laws allow people that end up in prison to be used as sexual slaves. Not much detail is provided on such a society, but it is a pretext that makes it 'legal' that Karen Hunter is bought by a group of 10 wealthy businessmen for a period of three years. They have organized a schedule where she can be gangbanged every other week and is at the disposal of one of them every day. Nothing consensual about this, but that is not what the story focusses on. The 'naughty' part of the story is that Karen is mostly embarrassed about the fact that she gets wet by being treated as property and gets off on being used. For the businessmen, only two characters are presented in any detail. The other characters are only briefly presented as "taking turns". Karen's main concern is that what is happening to her should not be legal. Strange that Karen had very little sexual experience but suffers no ill effects from her initial gangbang. I was not very convinced by the turn the story took to create a HEA either.
I usually enjoy Emily Tilton’s books, but this is not one of them. Karen is sentenced to corporate prison for not paying her debts. The prison decides to sell her as a sex slave to a wealthy group of men. I found none of the characters interesting, sympathetic, or compelling. I didn’t care about Karen, or Griff, or any of the other group members and that’s a problem. Emily has better books out there, find one of those.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was a bit over the top for me. I understand the lesson the book is meant to get across, but I had trouble with the number of men. I didn't like the degradation. It felt like because of one mistake, her whole life was ruined. The financials didn't make since either. The small amount of the default shouldn't lead to the length of time or the number of men. Maybe if it was kept to two men? I don't know. So I guess as much as I like reading books by Emily Tilton, I didn't care for this book.
It was written very well, I just thought the punishment didn't fit the crime. I also didn't like the message in th first chapter.
I don't really understand what is meant by this book...the rape of an eighteen old by ten despicable men is not something to enjoy and no I couldn't finish reading it.....the fact that she was supposed to be aroused by this treatment is not only laughable but an insult to all full blooded women with healthy sex appetites....no doubt there will be those that enjoy such a thing...but for me it went too far.
This was truly awful smut which funny enough really didn’t have as much sex as you would expect from smut. It’s based in an alternative reality where indentured servitude in the form of sexual favors is a major thing. I honestly really wouldn’t recommend this book to anybody is a waste of my reading time because I can’t not finish a book hung in until the end..
This is about degradation. There is no redeeming quality for this book. They took a girl who had little experience and knowledge of sex and turned her into a nightmare.
This book had a really sick beginning that slightly improved, then the ending just fell into an abyss. The premise was far-fetched and unpleasant. Read at your own risk - knowing you will not feel warm and fuzzy when you finish it.
Emily Tilton never disappoints me. Whever she writes, I'm more than happy to read. Her dystopian worlds are pretty well developed, especially the world surrounding the Institute. That particular world has its main series and then several spinoffs and then books that are related to it. The nice thing about her worlds is that you are getting lots of hottness, but you are also getting a good story behind it. She doesn't just write hot sex for hot sex's sake, which isn't a bad thing, mind.
In Karen's world, the lenders are extremely predatory. The loan she signed had a section in it that says that if you default on 3 payments, then you end up in jail, and basically, your body is no longer your own. The prison she's in has a wing were special young women are placed. Those women are rented out by the 1/2 hour for men to come in and do what they want with them. Karen hasn't had that happen, yet. The first time she sees two men walk into her cell, they decide that she's perfect for Mr. Green.
Mr. Green and Mr. Singleton have gotten together a consortium of 10 men, including themselves. They are going to buy a pleasure girl and everyone will have their own fair time with her. There's only one problem, one of the members of the consortium feels differently about Karen.
I'm not entirely sure that I would call this a reverse harem. Generally, in a reverse harem, there are relationships set up between each of the men and the woman. The one time that Karen meets all the men at once, it turns into a punishment session and then a gangbang. But, since she has 10 men please, I guess that could be termed a RH by a loose definition. I'm not complaining about it thoug, it's more of a nitpicky thing than anything else. I didn't ruin my enjoyment of the story. I still liked it and I'll still reread it.
Karen purchased a vehicle by a loan she can't pay. This results in a sentence to a corporate imprisonment that leads to her being sold to rich dominating men to pay off her loan. She is sold to a Mr Green and Mr Stapleton for a three year period to ten men and their friends to satisfy their sexual needs. She attempts to escape but is caught and becomes opened by Me Stapleton. The story is well written graphically to show Karen's mental rejection of her sexual needs in contrast to her body's physical need for submissiveness, discipline, and sexual orgasms.
This was a very steamy and dark read from author Emily Tilton. It was a reverse harem but I can't call it a romance. Unable to pay her debts, Karen is sentenced to corporate prison. While a corporate prisoner, she can be purchased as a concubine to serve out her sentence however her master or masters decide. So if you're looking for a romantic read this isn't it but if you don't mind some dubious consent this is for you.
Emily Tilton is a must read for me I enjoy her work although it may not be for everybody, some of the content may not be what some reader expect but her writing is always captivating. This book is no exception, the characters have sizzling chemistry and their interactions are Kindle burning hot that would make you unable to put it down until the end.
I thought this was going to be a BDSM book which I enjoy reading occasionally but it wasn't that in my opinion. It was about the abuse of young women at the hands of wealthy men. There wasn't anything remotely sexy about this book to me.
I only gave one star because they don't have less. I couldn't even bring myself to finish this book, and I am normally not a quitter. I'm also not a prude, but this was smut for smut's sake, and not my cup of tea.
I have read, and enjoyed several of this authors books. This one not so much. The story didn’t seem to have much of a plot and the story itself didn’t make a lot of sense.
This was a little bit of everything in a reverse harem romance, but I didn't feel the chemistry as strongly between Karen and the men. The sex was steamy hot though. Good read overall.
This books was not really sexy. Everything in it just came across as some non consensual abuse. I like reverse harems and BDSM but this was more like gang rape and torture.
This is my 2nd book by this author and whilst I enjoyed it and it was quite well written, I get the feeling all of her books basically follow the same formula. I'll probably read more in the future but for now I need a bit more than just steam.
I really liked this story, especially the ending. A hot, sexy ride from start to finish. Karen was chosen by a group of 10 men to be theirs to use. But things didn’t work out quite as they expected. A creative storyline with good characters always provides great reading. This author knows how to write great sex scenes. The one thing I don't see is that it is a reverse harem. There is more involved with reverse harem than just a bunch of guys and one girl. Otherwise, it is a good book.
