One of the finest books I've read this year. The story captures you from beginning until the very end; I didn't get bored for a single second. I found the character of Kusum to be very intriguing. She somehow reminded me of Sakambari from "sirisko phool" because of her complexity in regards to personality and thought processes , even though the storyline between these two characters were very different. Overall, a very good read!! 4.5 stars

I'm uncertain about how to react to this novel. The author spends too much time describing Kedar's character, repeating the same details over and over. I'm also confused about the relationship between Kusum and Dinesh, as Dinesh seems to have feelings for Junu too. Despite becoming physically intimate with Dinesh, Kusum still calls him her brother, and her mother, aware of this situation, asks Dinesh to put tika on Kusum's forehead during Dashain as a brother. I'm not sure what the author is trying to convey here.

However, the ending is good. Overall, it's an average read.
