The other day when I was searching websites to add linahuanhua to goodreads I came across a £1 sale on Cypress books and ended up buying quite a few. This was one of the books. The stories in here are all famous stories I've read many times before but I like reading different versions of them. The book also had great illustrations, including an amazing Han dynasty image of Chang E. The stories included in this book were Chang E, Meng Jiangnu, The sacrifice to the river god, White snake, Lian Shanbo/butterfly lovers - though in this story they turned into birds. A nice little collection.
