This is a simple and short book that offers an introduction to trees from their different types to their leaf shape, bark texture and seed growth. It does cover a lot of aspects, albeit briefly, and offers a few activities to get youngsters interested and interacting with trees beyond using them for swings. A good little read.

Ça démarrait bien. Une 4e de couverture qui promet une lecture intéressante. Les premières pages parlent des arbres dans leur environnement mais sans qu'il soit vraiment possible de les identifier même sur le dessin.
On ne trouve nulle part les "préparations a la promenade" promises en 4e de couverture. Certaines légendes sont illisibles. D'autres sont simplement incomplètes. Les derniers mots ayant "disparu"
Et puis on passe a la partie livre de référence, le classement est peu clair, voire parfois basé juste sur un coup de chance. Aucune explication ou analyse permettant de mieux identifier les arbres.
Les exercices d'indexation sont organisés sur plusieurs années. Est ce vraiment l'objet d'un livre de terrain de faire un herbier et de voir son évolution sur plusieurs années? Il y a clairement une différence de temps.
Soit, un livre pas vraiment lu rapidement car trop didactique pour être intéressant, et pas réellement instructif.
