I love stories where the sky is the limit and everything is possible.
In this story, we got presented kidnapping, torture, unconditional love, protecting, hurt, witty comments, confessions, Daddy love, naughty boy.

A hurtful past is what makes Oz reluctant to be the Daddy Conner yearns for.
When Conner runs away angry because of the rejection, he runs right in the arms of his torturer.
Conner his chosen family turns the world upside down to track him down and save him.
It’s almost too late and Oz is devastated, he has to confess to Conner what trickers him.
Conner is the best boy. They are each other’s saviors.

Fast-paced, awesomely captivatingly written story. I loved everything about it.
The characters were amazing, the strong personalities were everything!

Did I mention is was hot af?

Daddy Issues

These books are like a beautiful puzzle with a few missing pieces.

I love how A.G. Carothers writes characters. You're not going to find the stereotypical romance hunks in these books. A bottom Daddy, Oz, who wears make-up and sassy tee-shirts. A toppy boy assassin, Connor. Two unique characters that are perfect for each other.

On the downside, the backstories in the T.A.G. series often leave me feeling like I'm missing a previous book or three. It hasn't been enough to make me not want to read the books, but it's disconcerting. The guys are on a rescue mission to save Connor, but the guy who's kidnapped him, and taken him to Boston seems like he should have his own prequel chapter, so we can get the full scope of Connor's past.

This is almost a four. I just really want more backstory for the men in these books, they all have complex histories that are just hinted at.

3.5/4

Wooo. This series is getting better and better. This was so good. Yet, heartbreaking at the same time. Our beloved Conny has gotten himself rejected again by Oz, or Daddy as he calls him, and he can’t take anymore.
He leaves with two bodyguards to go clubbing to feel good and ends up kidnapped by the last person he thought he’d ever see again. His old abductor. And the man is not happy. He’s doing all he can to torture Conny for escaping the first time and not giving him what he wanted. He’s going to get it out of Conny this time. But what no one knows, is there’s someone on the inside helping as well. Known as ‘Bob’ to Conny, he’s helping keep Conny alive the best he can and keeping him as safe as he can. But Oz is the one feeling just as tortured. He’s lost the one man he really loves and he doesn’t know how to make it right. Operation Gingersnap is in place and it’s time to go get Conny back. But will it be whole or will Conny be broken like Oz is? And can Conny finally accept why Oz has been holding back all this time?
My poor Conny. I wanted to shake Oz so bad in this one. Once you find out what happened to Oz, you totally understand why he’s hesitant, but it kills me, because he’s not taking the time to really see how much Conny already cares about him. And instead of trusting Conny, he rejects him yet again, and hurts him even worse. The communication between these two is nonexistent in the way it needs to be. Sure they cut up and goof around, but when it comes to the nitty gritty, Oz just shuts down on him. And it’s not fair. But then again, I see both sides and understand where they are both coming from. Even if I do want to shake them both. When Conny got mixed up with his ex-abductor again, it broke my heart. For a young man who seems so fearless, this man made Conny cower. And do other things Conny wouldn’t normally do. I wanted to kill the man myself. Conny is just a sweetheart. He’s a little brat at times, but that’s just part of his charm and we all love him for it. I wanted to keep Conny that happy, goofy guy. The one who jumps in with both feet and seems so fearless. But even as he got rescued, in order to be that guy, he had to get over Oz or Oz finally had to let go and tell the truth.
It’s hard when we have secrets that make us extremely vulnerable. The fear of rejection is so strong, it can be paralyzing. So I get what Oz was going through. It’s hard to break that pattern. But when someone shows us they love us unconditionally, we have to learn to trust what we are seeing and hearing. As hard as it may be. Because that’s what makes a relationship stronger. Being able to be completely vulnerable with someone and be ourselves. It’s hard lesson to learn. But if it’s true, it’s one well worth the effort.

Oh, daddy Oz! How long can you stay away from temptation? How much longer can you stop yourself from taking a bite of the sweet treat Connor is?

Well, Oz did put up a good fight...to keep his head in his backside, lol, and took his sweet time to dig it out. I'm kidding. Obviously, Oz has every right to hang tight to his hangups, and I really understand, because his insecurities are absolutely justified. I'm surprised he resisted for so long, because really, Connor is a delight. Funny, full of snark, stubborn and ready to do anything to win over his Papa Bear. Connor and Oz together are the cutest, and I loved the unique relationship the author has tailored for them.

Although, they risked to not have any relationship at all, when Connor gets kidnapped. For a second there I feared for his life. But only for a second, because I knew there was nothing the T.A.G.s wouldn't have tried in order to bring him back. And honestly, I love these guys so much. Their group dynamic, their interactions, their banter and verbal jabbs, the way they treat each other like family and seeing how much they obviously care about each other...it all makes it hard to believe and easy to forget they're hardened assassins.

I liked T.A.G. You're Heard just a tinsy bit more than the first book in the series. Although mainly focused on the relationship between Oz and Conner, I enjoyed the fact that the whole T.A.G. team was greatly present throughout the entire book. The whole lot of them kept me entertained and with a smile on my face, despite the seriousness of the circumstances. Can't get enough of them and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Operation Gingersnap

Wow, AG Carothers is not playing around when it comes to the second book in T.A.G. It’s in-your-face gritty and a hella intense. Oh my Yoshi, what an amazing brother who gives the best advice/kick in the butt. So glad to see him again. Also, AG Carothers is amazingly sneaky with the best cameo ever!

I love Connor’s snark, his nicknames (DCB priceless), and how he teases everyone. I adore the many sides to Connor, especially his resilience and his never ending capacity to care and love. He’s my hero and a tiny dynamo. Oz is sexy and such a nurturer. I wanted to smack some sense into him at times but I also wanted to smother him in hugs to take away his worries. His story broke my heart and I think he’s amazing. There is so much sexy tension between Oz and Connor and I love the dynamic that developed between them. It’s unique, perfect for them and smoking hot.

Eeek! The ending of this book is everything and has all the feels. It made me happy, misty-eyed and was extremely sexy. I love this rag tag merry band of assassins and hope we get to dive back into their world soon. There are so many people who need their story told (ahem, Bob). Heart-stopping and heartfelt moments, nonstop action, and a despicable villain make for a read you won’t be able to walk away from.

This is a very interesting series. I don't remember much of the first book because it's been so long since I read it (except for the golden shower scene *shudders*) but I still remember enough to want to read more.

It does feel like there's a bunch of different stories that are kind of jumbled together with all of the side characters and I kind of feel like I have missed some things.

I really loved that these characters are not stereotypes! They are all unique and it works for the story. Oz is a huge Viking who loves manties and makeup but is still a daddy. Connor is a bratty boy who doesn't bottom. I think they work really well as a couple and enjoyed them together.

There's so many side characters that I wonder how many books are planned though. I will definitely keep reading though.

Bob is awesome.

Darker than the first one. It was horrible how Connor was taken, but I liked that he never gave up and was sarcastic at every point. Deals with human trafficking, abuse and daddy kink. I’m still loving how the guild is such a close knit family. I felt sorry for Oz blaming himself.

The wedding was sweet but I think my favourite part was Bob, everything Bob does and how Oz accidentally calls DCB. Nice to see a different side of Yoshi, a more reliable, future leader side. Curious about the Haitian.

The daddy stuff was a bit much but I liked how it wasn’t stereotypical top/bottom pairing. And as someone that can’t stand hair, the beard ride creeped me out. Oz and Conny were adorable together.

I read only this book in the series and yes, there are times where I was lost but the story between Connor and Oz was enough to keep me going
The book starts off with a bang and keeps you revved up. You’re wondering what the heck did I stumble into? But their story needed this push to get Oz to move, to find his own strength.

AG gives their relationship a fun twist. Never expected it.

It’s a good fun read with lots of twists. You should actually read TAG You’re Seen to get a sense of the whole series.. Don’t be silly like me...
I like the overall concept of The Assassin’s Guild that’s family. I can’t wait to read more.

I received an ARC for my honest review

I fell in love with Conny and Oz in the first book and was not disappointed. AG Carothers delivers a fantastic story, its original and shows a different side of a relationship. The world building alone keeps you in the story and the emotions you feel in this book will leave you wanting more. Another great addition to the series.

I received a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads.

I think you should read the first book in the series to really enjoy this book. I absolutely loved the first book and I loved this one too. Connor and Asbjorn are amazing. The Daddy/boy aspect was a little different from the norm and I liked it. The author has a way of keeping the reader on the edge of their seat and fall in love all at the same time. Thos series keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book.

T.A.G. You’re Heard is another exciting addition to this series. I absolutely love Connor and the creativity of this storyline hooked me immediately. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.

Character development was on point throughout this story. Each character felt incredibly real, not just the main characters but secondary as well. I’m trying to guess which characters will be featured next and while I have no idea I can’t wait to find out. Each character pulls at me and I want all the words! I loved the chemistry between Connor and his Daddy. It’s such a unique twist on Daddy kink! I’ve never seen it written this way before and it highlights how A.G. Carothers will always deliver on individuality. World building was incredibly vivid and intricate. I love how much depth there is in this world and how the author binds it all together.

The storyline is captivating. There is such a great sense of humor that shines through and yet it’s perfectly balanced with the overall story arc. I laughed just as many times as being on the edge of my seat. The emotion jumped right off the pages and never let me go.

5 stars for a humorous, action-packed, and engaging book!

Captivating, action packed, emotional story that has all the feels!   Amazing world-building with terrific character development really made the story come alive.  The plot was great and the flow of the story was perfect.  I so fell in love with these characters in book one and knew they would have a challenging time finding their way to each other.  Wow, this story really delivers!

Connor and Oz will melt your heart and steam up your kindle.  I laughed and i cried as they struggled to find each other.  I so felt for both characters and the author did a wonderful job of putting my heart back together.

This is book two of the Assassins' Guild Book series and is best read as part of a series.  Reading book one will add so much character and plot development that i strongly suggest it.  Plus, book one is wonderful!

I was gifted this book from Gay Book Promotions and i freely give my honest opinion and review.

♥️ A great drama action and rescue story for Connor with this book. Once I started this book I couldn't stop until this finish. Fantastic scenes, I could write more but they'd be spoilers which I won't. A Daddy and Boy story that's a little different in the bedroom.. nope no spoilers 😉 aww I won't mention that the last 20% of the book gives more of Asbjorn aka Oz story.. A beautiful ending. I loved the first book in this series and this is another beaut book.

Connor went out clubbing and didn't remember after that...now woken he's tied and bound and scared. Staring at a face now he knew he was going to die.
Asbjorn aka Oz had a past with the Norwegian Army and because of this didn't want to return Connors love. But he's now missing..

Connor gets his man

This second book in the series starts with a bang and doesn't slow down, Conner has been in love with his Viking Daddy for years and after he says no again there are unforseen consequences for both of them. Asbjorn loves his bratty boy but doesn't believe he deserved him.

I really enjoyed this book the characters are as well written as in the first book, the action grips your attention from the start, but has a few moments of hilarity which made me smile, both Connor and Asbjorn have issues with the past that are sensitively done . I really can't wait for the next book.

Yay!

I just had a good time reading this story. Connor and Oz are fun. Even though bad things and a near death experience happen to them, they preserve and grow.

Oz might have had some personal hang-ups that kept him from moving forward with Connor, but he finally sees what he might lose and moves to stake his claim. I appreciate how hard things were for both and loved the ending.

I liked how things happen after the abduction and I want a story for Bob. He adds humor to the story without even trying. I can totally see Oz try to put a bell on him once he realizes that some boundaries don't matter to him.

I loved Connor and Oz!!! With them, the author created two complex and profound characters. As the story advance showing us the inner thoughts and feelings of each one of them, we understood the struggle of Oz rejecting the love of his life for fear and the truth behind Connor’s nightmares. After all the danger, obstacles and evilness they needed to overcome to be together, we learned that if we don’t dare to love when the opportunity arises we could loose it completely. This second book in the series kept me at edge all the time!! The best so far!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

This was one hell of a fantastic, fast paced, action packed, emotionally charged, intense, gritty, grab-you-by-the-feels, amazing, fascinating, poignant, delightful, snarky, hilarious, quirky, slow burning, and totally awesome tale. I must admit that I was severely tempted to smack some sense into certain characters. Filled with danger, suspense, painful secrets, and more twists and turns than a roller coaster, I would recommend getting this marvelous book immediately! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Oz and Conner were so adorable. You really can't help but love Conner and his Connerness. He is hilarious! In the first book we see and meet everyone, it continues in this book as well lots of new and old characters pop up and say hello. I love the writing style, the story line is wonderful, fresh and unique. I am so happy these two got thier HEA. And I really cant wait to find out more about Bob and his secret stealthy skills seriously hes like a ninja . Wonderful job!

I loved reading this book. These characters definitely embody the idea that what you look like dont dictate your role in a relationship. And also people love who they love. it doesn't have to make sense. Colin knew who he was and what he wanted and he wanted Oz. And his love for him his family got him through him being abducted because he knew they would move heaven and earth to get him back.

Connor is kidnapped by someone from his past. Oz is in love with Connor but doesn't believe he's worthy because of an injury and he didn't get the chance to prove his love to Connor. The book is action-packed, a lot of angst, some funny moments, jealousy, all the MCs are likable characters, and Oz and Connor get their happily ever after.

Super Good

I absolutely love this series, the storyline and plot are excellent. The family and relationship dynamics between the characters is great. Asbjørn and Conner are so cute together, especially with their nontraditional Daddy/Boy relationship.
.....And I got to say I hope Bob gets a story.

In this book, you will need to put aside your preconceived ideas of what someone "should" look like or act like and I absolutely love it! The characters are so well developed and full of life, the story line will keep you entranced, and you will simply want more. This might be one of my favorite new series. Just, please, keep them coming.
