I needed a break in my soggy winter day, and when I found this new short story by Tara Mills, I felt the tug of Christmas joy and the promise of snow and presents (better than rain!). With a cup of spiced tea, I read this wonderful little romance, the frantic search for a love almost found, but lost in the shuffle of the holiday rush. Will Heidi ever find her mystery man? Make yourself a cuppa and enjoy the search. I hope author Tara Mills will continue with other installments of this tale. Maybe for holidays yet to come?

I just finished this short story and found it an enamouring and quick read. It captured the essence of mall shopping at Christmas time perfectly. But instead of jostling with busy people, you can sit back in a comfy chair and read about two strangers trying to reconnect. They’d met earlier while shopping and both wished they had the initiative to at least get each names. Now they’re back at the mall searching for each other. Interesting take on attraction at first sight. Heartwarming. Leaves you hopeful for more sparks between them

A delightful quickie holiday romance! What would you do if you met the person of your dreams, but didn't know a name or a phone number? Noah and Heidi met in a crowded mall at Christmastime, when they helped a lost child find his mom. Despite the lightning between them, each went on with their evening and never got the other's info. Thus begins a chase to reconnect by returning to the scene of the crime in the hope the other will show up, too. Sweet, fun, and a perfect short story for a winter evening.
