Talented college freshman , Kai Stamford, falls for a beautiful redheaded virgin, but while he tries to play the gentleman and win her heart, rivalry in the locker room escalates, threatening his hockey career, and everything he ever stood for.
“IDK! Why I let our Right Winger get to me. That MORON pushes my buttons, and one of these days, HE’LL GET what he’s been itching for. My huge frame fools people into thinking I’m a HOT-HEAD, but Rick Stamford is in my veins. Like it or not, I inherited Dad’s PEACE KEEPER tendencies, but it still doesn’t hurt to let the opposition–or Mickey Fucking Compton– think I am as MEAN as I look.
–Kai Stamford
While 3 friends navigate college, establish their hockey careers, & find love, personal challenges threaten their success.

Kai is second generation hockey blood, but wants to make it on his own merit. Right from the start Mickey Compton has it in for him. That only gets worse when Kai falls in love with his cousin Angie. We never get to know what the reason is, but it nearly caused Kai to loose everything.
Enjoyable read. The story flows well, the characters fit well together and develop well. They have great chemistry. The book keeps you interested till the end.
