The moment she walks into the club My hunger roars to life. After centuries of walking alone-- feeling nothing. Caring for no one. The demon, the dominant in me--awoke. Something's different about the lovely human with a delicious scent. My curious little innocent.
For the first time, I feel. I need. I crave. And only she can satisfy. She’s MINE.
Quick Summary Vampire Liam, hasn’t had any emotional entanglements even before he was turned and hasn’t thought about humans as more than his food source in almost as long. So his attraction to Harper is definitely throwing him off balance.
He knows there isn’t a future with her, but he’s determined to enjoy her while he can. With rogue shifters after her, it works out that he gets to ingrain himself with her as her rescuer.
Harper is a small town girl, who’s been isolated by her religious parents practically her whole life. When they tried to push her into a marriage against her wishes, Harper packs up and moves to the city. It’s a new start for her and she’s ready to start experiencing life like a normal girl.
Until she meets Liam, gets attached by werewolves and has to hide out with the city’s resident vampire king!
🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤 Oh, I wanted to like this so much but I think my expectations were set too high :( Overall, I liked Harper, she was cute and I liked how the story progressed with her inner kink coming out and her exploration of those wants and needs. Her scenes with Liam were hawt, I’ll give them that.
What kept this from being a great read was the lack of emotional connection between the two MCs. Liam was a pro at deflecting so he never really allowed Harper to get close to him. Outside of their kink play, these two didn’t really grow outside of maybe a casual acquaintance type of relationship. Definitely not strong enough for the out of the blue ILY’s and promise of (literally) forever together.
Also I get that the vamps of this world are cold and unfeeling as a survival mechanism but I prefer my heroes to drop that façade for their heroines. Hearing Liam constantly mentioning Harper as just a passing fling and being completely void of feelings when talking about all the humans he’s murdered and/or left mad by messing with their minds, without a hint of remorse was not an attractive flaw.
There was also the lack of follow through regarding some of the main plot twists. One obvious one for me was the way Harper’s background was never explored after the be reveal. Wasn’t there any curiosity to find out how her ex knew something like this about her but no one else did? If Liam could sense she was different but didn’t know why or how, is it because she’s super rare or her kind extinct? And is or isn’t she? Because even that was left opened ended. They basically gave her two choices and then brushed it all away with no real cemented truth.
This is the second in the series I’ve read and I won’t be reading more. The world the loosely intertwining stories are based in isn’t for me. It has a depressing atmosphere of gritty realism I’m just not used to. I’m much more comfortable with the romanticized version of vamps in my contemporaries like the IAD series. Fans of Anne Rice’s vamp world would enjoy this more.
Heat Level: 3/5 There are play scenes with some BDSM and light pet play.

Harper leaves home because her very religious parents tried to force her into an arranged marriage with a man she didn't love. She's out with her friends at a club that makes her anxious as well as aroused and she's completely out of her element.
Liam is the bouncer at Club Toxic and once he spots Harper he wants to get to know her better. When a bunch of wolf shifters show up and wreck the place, he has to get her and the other humans out of there afterwards and try to help clean things up. But he wants to spend time with her instead.
Harper is sent home without the memories of what happened at the club but shifters find her at home and attack her. Liam shows up and helps her get away from them and takes her back to his place where he lets her see he's a vampire. At his place he has a bit of a dungeon room or play room and can tell that it excites Harper when she sees it even though she's a virgin.
Liam is gentle with her, letting her get used to him and his ways even though he's a very dominant vampire. He doesn't realize it right away but he's fallen for her faster than he expected to and she feels the same way about him. So when she goes and gets herself in danger because she thought it was ok to go back to work, Liam loses his mind at the thought of her getting hurt. I really liked Liam's sire and his mate and how they all worked together.
This book was everything a vampire lover could want in a book. The BDSM aspects of the book were done well and were not overly violent or harsh. I had a lot of fun reading this book and I love Liam and Harper. I'm definitely going to be reading more of this series.
I read that blurb and my curiosity was piqued. Harper seems to be among the living dead. She's alive but not living. She has a feeling she's meant to be at Club Toxic and drawn to the James Dean bouncer. Having lived the good girl life wants to take a walk on the wild side and has no idea what she's about to learn about the wild world that hides in the shadows.
Liam is living the life. He gets to have his cake and literally eat it too. That is until the wolves come out. But he swears he isn't catching feelings for his new kitten.
See these two bring the other out from behind the shells they hide behind. Lot's of excitement and steam. A girl who finds her place and a bad boy who gave up the cake for a forever home pet. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Omg can I give more than 5 stars. I absolutely love paranormal reads and this had me hooked from page 1. Liam & Harper had an instant connection that couldn’t be denied but someone wants Harper all too themselves. Liam and Harper are hot, sexy couple that I didn’t want their story too end.
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I am so in love with this series. Midnight Doms is a crazy, sexy, mysterious love story that I am obsessed with. If you haven't read this series (can be read as a standalone) you have to jump into them. Every one of them is written by a different author so it brings a new twist and fresh feel to the reader.
Her Vampire Bad Boy is a delightful read and I can't wait to see what is next!
I am always a bit wary of reading books by different authors but set in the same world. You never know what you will get - some are a tribute to the original author’s books and others manage to ruin the world. This book definitely falls into the first category. Brenda Trim has taken the Bad Boy Alpha series set in Tucson and added a story that fits seamlessly into this world. You do not have to read that series to enjoy this book, but the experience will be enhanced (Plus, the books by Lee Savino and Renee Rose are great!) and you will recognize familiar characters. Although this is not my favorite book in the Midnight Doms series, it is still enjoyable. I really loved seeing the bad boy vampire become the sappy and emotional one, since it is usually the female! Liam wears his heart on the sleeve of his leather jacket when it comes to Harper. Even though he may have control in the bedroom, I think she wears the pants in this relationship! King Lucious and Selene play important roles in this book so you may want to read their story first (Alpha’s Blood by Renee Rose and Lee Savino). This is a nice addition to the series and it would be great to see more of the developing friendship between Harper and Selene. I am sure they will be a trouble making force to reckon with and drive their respective mates crazy!
Downloaded from BookSprout. I received this book free from the author for my honest review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!
Predictable. Terrible transition in character development. And I hate BSDM. But I had to know about Harper and the end to the mystery. I really wanted a better twist.

Great story set in the Renee Rose/Lee Savino world of Bad Boy Alphas. This Midnight Doms series takes us into the vampire world. We met some of these vamps in Alpha's Bane, though you can follow along without having read any of the previous stories, though now I want to.
Harper was raised to be a good, church-going girl who did what her parents told her to do. When they picked her husband-to-be for her she decided she had had enough and took off. She ended up in Tucson, but she can't quite seem to leave her Utah roots behind. She finally agrees to a night out at a club with some of her work friends, but she doesn't feel like she is fitting in very well. There is a whole lot of blatant sexual activity going on around her and she turned on, but cautious. She really likes the hot bouncer at the door, if he would just notice her.
Liam is in the habit of taking girls downstairs to the BDSM club and getting his sex and his dinner all in one shot. His vampire nature has never allowed him to hook up with the same female more than once or twice. Too many memory wipes can cause problems in humans. When he first sees the sexy woman on the dance floor he is mentally making plans for his usual hit and run. Then the wolves attack and everything changes.
I will tell you no more cos they would spoil it for you. Read it! I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
For the first part of this book, I really didn't think I was going to like it. While I love paranormal and don't have an issue with BDSM (I loved Fifty Shades of Grey), it started so fast between innocent virgin, Harper, and a centuries old BDSM loving vampire, Liam. I had trouble believing this and would have liked to have read more about them and had a little more chemistry before she is just ready for whips and sex when she's only ever kissed a guy before. With that said... once I got into this I couldn't put it down. I think if this book were longer it would have allowed for more character development and a little more plot. I am definitely going to check out more books by this author because she does have a gift for creating an alpha bad boy!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a wonderful addition to the Midnight Doms books. We visit Club Toxic again with Lucius and Selene having secondary rolls. The author worked them in seamlessly. Liam was working the night Harper and her friends came to party. After unknown wolves attacked, Liam wiped her memory and sent her home. He found her purse at the club and when he went to drop it off, found the wolves trying to kidnap her. Things took off from there and didn’t stop. Very well written with delicious chemistry between Liam and Harper. This was definitely a page-turner with so much excitement, kidnapping, drama, suspense, and light BDSM. The story held my interest throughout, and I recommend it to anyone loving paranormal reads with a bit extra. I received an arc and voluntarily left an honest review.
Here's Club Toxic again! Lucius Frangelico's club is a magnet for disturbances of all kinds. This time an innocent teacher's first time out for a little fun, is the beginning of a series of events that endanger both worlds. The human and the vampire/shifter one. When circumstances require the bad boy to take close, personal care of the teacher, things quickly enter the private playroom of the former. But where would be the fun in such a hurried, albeit deliciously sensual, end. The aforementioned "circumstances" come back to haunt them and try to put a permanent end to their bond. I'll stop right now, not telling any more!!!
Have mercy on my heart! This is book five in the Midnight Doms world. Let me just say it is a fantastic. It checks all the boxes for me. I love the characters! The danger, intrigue, twists, chemistry and more! There is never a dull moment in Harper and Liam's journey. Harper is a good girl! Liam's a bad boy, who happens to be a vampire! Things are not what they seem. There is so much more in play. What is That? No spoilers from me, get the book and see for yourself! It is so worth your time to read and find out what happens with these two. A definite must read! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author.
Her Vampire Bad Boy is not a bad book, but it could have been better. It is a combination of shifters, vampires, BDSM, religious cult and suspense. It had a lot of everything, but didn't provide enough detail for the reader to enjoy it all. Harper has escaped an arranged marriage within a cult, only to find herself the subject of unwanted attention from shifters and falling for a Dom Vampire. I would have liked it more without the BDSM or the cult and learned more about the supernatural aspect. I did not have trouble following the story, but it lacked depth.

Harper recently move from her parents, very strickt parents. She wants a life, where she is deciding about what to do. It´s hard, but she goes to club with her friends. And there she is attracted to this hot bouncer. But he isn´t what he seems to be. he is vampire and dom...and harper is hesitant. She doesn´t want to be ordered what to do. And of course Liam is jerk to her, so she isn´t very conviced. For him it is just fo fun - but..will it change??

Bad boys rule... This author is new to me and has written a story worthy of this series. It maintains the overall theme and storyline while adding her personal flair and flavor to tantalize the imagination. Liam and Harper are a match made in bad boy heaven, and their path to romance sizzles as unknown dangers encroach on their happiness. Great story - looking forward to what this series has in store.
I’m a sucker for a vampire story but not such a fan of the dominant and submissive type stories. This looked to be more of the same but I actually came to like this one more than I thought. Harper had me from the start. She was my favorite type of heroine. Liam was a bit of a jerk and it wasn’t until the end that he really redeemed himself. In fact, the ending was fantastic! Good addition to the series.

1. Who is the character on the cover page? The author repeatedly says Liam looks like James Dean. And the cover page model - not even remotely. It is a huge peeve of mine as a reader when there is a cover model on the book that does not match the visual description of the characters in the book. 2. Female character becomes an entirely different character once getting to Liams home. 3. Ending far to abrupt.
4.5 stars. Another book in the Midnight Doms series. It’s a quick read a very entertaining. I really enjoyed this book. It took on a different aspect then the previous books in the series. I enjoyed the twist. I would love to read more about Harper and Liam story. Great job!

This is the first book I’ve read by Brenda Trim, though I have read the previous books in the Midnight Doms multi author series. I was hooked from the first page and utterly captivated by the story. Very excited to have found such a great new author - I’m looking forward to reading her other books!

Really good! Extremely true to the world that was built while still being its own. The main characters are very fun together, they have interesting back stories that draw you in but it isn't so overly complicated that it can't be wrapped up in a reasonable way in the time allotted. Fantastic chemistry, hot sex, all you could ask for.
This wasn't a bad read, but I can't really say it was great. I absolutely hated how Harper was already in love with Liam when she had only known the guy for a day though. She did earn points for straight up telling him that he may be in charge when they're "playing" but he definitely isn't going to control her otherwise. One of the biggest issues I had was this mysterious background of Harper's. Thru the whole book all the vampires and shifters say that she's definitely not human and she has a pack of shifters after her. At the end, it's very briefly mentioned what makes her so special....and then that's it. Really?? You're gonna say that and then just act like it doesn't matter? Shouldn't this have been explored more? Add to that why Harper fled her family in the first place. She starts out by saying that they're part of a cult, but then keeps saying that they're just really religious. Well, which is it!? There is a big difference between the two, and if it's a cult, things would maybe make more sense. But again, none of this is explored.
So like I said, Harper runs away from home and has started her life over determined to live on her own terms. She's not a party girl, but agrees to a girl's night out with her friends because she at least wants to try new things. Too bad the club is attacked by shifters resulting in them all needing their memories erased.
Obviously it's there that Harper meets Liam. Liam was working that night and immediately something about Harper pulls his attention and keeps it. So when Harper forgets her purse at the club it gives him a good excuse to go after her. Fortunately so because he's there to rescue her when she's attacked by more shifters. Which just makes more questions.
Liam takes it upon himself to be her protector as well as introduce her to certain pleasures she's never experienced before. So of course she finds herself falling for him and having her heart shattered when he clearly states there is no future for them. Stupid girl. Who then becomes even more stupid when she leaves a safe location to go work because she thinks all the attacks were just a fluke....and is beaten up and kidnapped.
Who wanted her wasn't a surprise at all, but the reason for it was a little bit. There were no clues as to what this person was, but again, that's because so much is not explored here. Let's just say Liam does not save her in time and he makes a decision for her that he hopes she won't hate him for. At least this time what happens after is way more believable than how it happened in the last book. But there was one thing during this ending that really bugged me.
“Her Vampire Bad Boy” is the fifth story in the Midnight Doms series. The story is set in the Renee Rose/Lee Savino world of Bad Boy Alphas and takes us into the world of Vampires. Brenda Trim weaves some of the Vampires from previous stories into this story smoothly and you can follow without having to read the previous stories and it’s always a pleasure to catch up with past characters. Of course, reading the stories in sequence adds to the experience and enjoyment of the story. I am amazed and very impressed that each story is written by a different author; remains within the original concept and continues to bring us breathtaking, outstanding, unique and impressive stories that flow and compliment each other with ease.
Harper has lived a sheltered life with her controlling parents. Finally, she sets out on her own, gets a job and moves to Tucson Arizona. Her life is still quiet, fluctuating between work and going home until her friends at work convince her to come with them to Club Toxic to help her break out of her shell. Yes, we see Lucius and Selene, who have secondary roles in the story. Liam is a bouncer, at the Club and this night he is at the door. He is a Dominant, has been alone for many centuries, cares for no-one and no woman has caught his attention for more than one night. When, he sees Harper, he is instantly attracted to her, yet he keeps his distance. Harper really likes the HOT bouncer and wonders if, he has noticed her. All is fine until some wolf shifters enter the club and cause a distrubance. Things took off from there and didn’t stop. After, the attack by the unknown wolves, Liam helps wipe the memories of the humans and sends them home. Liam finds Harpers purse and returns it to her, only to find wolves trying to kidnap her and he saves her. Liam wonders if the wolves came to the club seeking Harper. What is it about Harper that they want? There is something about Harper that draws him to her. And, Harper is very drawn to him. The chemistry between them is magnetic. I loved the romance between Liam and Harper. Brenda Trim writes a story that is complex, filled with suspense, drama, HOT sexy scenes, her characters have depth, and light BDSM. It held my interest throughout and is a page-turner!
This book has its good points. It does have some hot scenes. However, the story with the werewolves that attack the club is really weak. The werewolves tell Harper and Liam something that they fail to recall and it was important. The head of the werewolves in Tuscon needed to know and they never told him. In the end, it didn't matter but it would have helped.
Back to her take on vampires. They don't have reflections. I know that is from mythology but most contemporary vampire books throw that out the window. It is a hindrance. I also don't like that the vampires are only "allowed" to live in the city with Garrett's blessing. He is the alpha werewolf. I much prefer a world where the two groups balance each other and have a peace agreement because war would be too costly to both sides. I have read most of the series and I don't think all of this is true in the entire series. Also, Liam, who was turned in 1509, isn't strong enough to turn anyone. What's up with that? Pretty sure that isn't true in any of the related books. I did not read Alpha's Blood but I have read most of the original series by Lee Savino and Renee Rose and I'm pretty sure that was not part of the construct they created.
I liked Liam and Harper but Liam isn't the perfection most of the MMCs have been.
I also would have been happy if there had been one more hot scene at the end. I think those scenes end around the 60% mark and I hate it when authors configure their stories that way.
I am going to finish this series but I won't read more by this author.
Harper has finally had all she can take when it comes to following her parents dictates. When they demanded she marry Steve, a man they chose for her, and become the perfect sub servant wife, that was the final straw regardless of the church's dictates. She just couldn't do it, so she bought her own phone plan separate from her parents, packed her things, and moved from Utah to Arizona breaking all ties. Months later she finally decides to go out with her co-workers and that's when she sees Liam, the bouncer at Club Toxic, who looks like James Dean in his dark jeans, white T-shirt, and a leather jacket. That will be the night both of their lives will change. What a great storyline with an out of the blue confrontation and secrets I didn't see coming. The character's personalities were relatable with all their insecurities and flaws. The chemistry was intensely restrained. This was such a great read and a terrific addition to the series.
I loved this sexy story about Harper she’s a goody two shoes type of girl she needs to get away from her constant controlling parents so her friends take her to Club Toxic which little does she know will change her whole life. Liam is a vampire and a bouncer at the door for Club Toxic he always able to pick up the girls in the club he takes them downstairs with him to the BDSM part of the club for sex and feeding, Liam always wipes their memories that’s why he hardly takes them twice it’s just too dangerous with the mind wiping. Liam see’s a woman on the dance floor she intrigues him and his lust has blown out and he has plans to take her downstairs but then the wolves attack and chaos ensues. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I purchased this book via Amazon and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part of a multi author series that can be read as a standalone but characters from other books appear in the storyline.
**spoilers** Harper grew up in a religious, controlled and sheltered family/environment. Her parents tried to arrange a marriage for her but she chose to move away and start over. Even though she is a 25 year old teacher, she is pretty innocent.
Liam is a vampire working at Club Toxic for the Vampire King. He at first doesn't see Harper but once he gets her scent, he is intrigued.
Action. Sexy time. HEA
This was a fun, quick moving story. Glad the Vampire King and his Queen were a part of this too.
A decent read. It seems Authour can’t remember what she just wrote. On chapter, one author says a character named Dante, Attempted to overthrow their sire, Lucius. However, in chapter 2, she mentions Xavier tried to overthrow Lucius, Attacked club toxic. based on the story, it does not make sense that these are two different characters. I get a sense that I’ve read these stories before it may be that I have read them before I haven’t checked the release date, but these stories seem very extremely familiar as though I’ve read them before under different character’s names and in different cities. I don’t know whether what I read first, came first or what I’m reading now came first or if they’re the same stories and I’m remembering them differently. But I get a real sense of déjà vu reading the stories. You infer what you will with that statement.
