NEW COVER! SAME GREAT STORY!Famine has spread throughout the world and the Middle East is consumed by war. Our main character, Ford, continues searching for answers and becomes increasingly convinced that events around the world are unfolding as they were foretold more than 2,500 years ago. The Road to Revelation is a fictional book series, that is based on Biblical Prophecy. It chronicles the time preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. The third volume, Darkness Falls takes place between the opening of the third and fourth seals described in the Book of Revelation. Turkey has defeated Iran and now controls the Middle East, but the death of the Turkish President has caused additional chaos in the region. Soon a new power will rise up and take control. Ford continues to be astonished as more connections between the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation, and more are discovered. Zack's well-being continues to be unknown to the rest of the group, as the United States has fallen into a state of uncertainty. The Southwest is decimated and the East coast is still without power. How will the Federal Government maintain control? Famine and scarcity reign supreme. The Road to Revelation is a series that you won’t be able to stop reading. You will enjoy it because, frankly, you know that it could be real. Read these Book 1: The Road to Revelation - The Beginning Book 2: The Road to Revelation - World at War
I keep reading but don't always agree . I still don't think crude language is necessary for us to "get the point" of what is happening ! I'm going to finish the series .I do like the characters, scriptures and have been inspired to read my bible and study better .😁
I am disappointed, I have finally realized the author is post tribulation. I am a pre-tribulation believer.
The other issue, I had is when discussing, various unbeliever bad guys the author is a little too 'realist' in how they swear, etc.
Of course, I am aware this Is exactly how some people talk, I could hear it every day... but it is not what I also want to read in a Christian fiction novel.
I think the author could find other ways of letting the reader know instead of calling a woman a b word etc.
It was not overly done, or extreme perhaps it is just me, but there you go
Also, I really do not like even a hint of description when a violent and deadly rape occurs the author could just say that, and I would get the picture
I do not need to know, her shirt was torn, and panties etc. and have other men, talk about how they would also like to have at her.
Again, I would read a secular novel if I was okay with that.
This author does write well and if you are okay with the post rapture view some swearing etc. I think you would enjoy this series
As for me, I am not going to read the 4th Not because it is not well written but because of the things I mentioned
And there is scripture, and the gospel in it, which is why I did not mark it down any lower.
It's a mixed bag...'mostly' good but just not for me.
Still, I want to thank to author for making reading it free.
Perhaps if he come out with another series but not post tribulation I would read it and give it a full 5 stars.
Although the story keeps the reader entertained, I do have a few issues. Primarily that the author chooses to use foul language. I read many thrillers, and times stories and intense mysteries by Christian authors. Not one has found the need to use profanity yet their stories are excellent. Joel Rosenberg comes to mind. The second issue I have is the author needs a good editor. The use of incorrect words seems rather frequent in this book. ie: "They were hold up..." instead of, "They were holed up...". It became a big distraction.
I've read these three books since hubby chose to purchase them. Should he choose to purchase additional ones in the series I will likely read them but I won't buy them. They are okay but weak.
Considering the events of the day with COVID-19,I thought it was time to take a look at books that have been well researched with a fictional approach to revelation. The Revelation Road series is incredible. I read them back to back in less than a week. Can’t wait for book four, Not only do you get involved with the characters, and identify with many of them, it compels you to research the word of God on your own, To look at Daniel Ezekiel and revelation from the perspective of the author. An excellent read now it’s time to do my homework. It is time to prepare... search the Scriptures daily whether these things were so.
This is the third book in the series and i cannot get enough of it. Ford, Sam,Sara,Chris,Zack and others wow. The way that each of them are being used and guided by God is really epic and awesome. How all the events are really coming together it is like im living it with each of these characters. This is the first series where im actually writing notes even though it is written in a fictional type of way but the way it is written down the feelings the coming to God and being used to teach others about him that is all real. How all these events are happening makes me wonder if that is how the events will actually happen to us in present time or somewhere down the road.
This review is on the whole (6book) series. This was a very enlightening and inspirational read. I’ve read quite a few books over the last 50 years about Revelation and the end times since “ The Late Great Planet Earth (Hal Lindsey) and this book interprets and makes it very clear! Written like a novel , the characters and events make it more relatable and easier to understand, not to mention the spiritual advice and encouragement..As a lifelong Christian , this book strengthened my faith and definitely solidified it. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone, regardless of your faith or beliefs, it might be a game changer! Thank you Clifford
During His time on earth, Jesus taught us how to receive the free gift of Salvation. It is free to all who confess their sins and repent, asking Jesus to come into their heart and be Lord of their life. The gift of Salvation is available to all who believe in the sacrifice of the Lord, who shed His blood for the remission of Sin. It is God's desire that none should perish, but He gave each of us free will. Each person has to choose, Heaven or Hell for all eternity. Are you ready? He is Coming Back!
Good story that flows well, interesting and exciting read.
I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to someone from late teens to older adult. It is a work of fiction but has a good theme to it. Also, it is quite easy to follow. Also, I like the fact that the author gives money to charities that help cancer. Not long ago, I lost my mother to cancer. Just thought I would add that as a note that this author believes in helping people that have had similar struggles so anything you can give by reading or buying her books would be a blessing to help others.
There is nothing to dislike about this book. I am glad I chose to read this series. It has open my eyes of knowledge of what is about to happen or about what has happened already. I thank you Mr. Wellman for this information. I can't way to finish this series. I have been making documentation of all the scriptures you have researched. Then I go back and reread them and pray I have the knowledge of understanding of the scriptures. I have earnestly and faithfully prayed for God to reveal the meaning of the scriptures you have researched.
Loved this 6 book series! Really helps you imagine how the end of this age can culminate through the lives of the series characters. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a clearer understanding of the book of revelation. I really appreciate how the author references scripture in each chapter, to ground the experiences of his characters and show in practical ways how bible prophesy can play out. The sixth book of the series even goes into the millennial reign...which has always been a challenge to relate to for me. I highly recommend each book in the series!
I am now reading the next volume in this series, The Road to Revelation, Life and Death. For fans(like myself!), of Pat Frank's "Alas, Babylon"; William G. Forstchen's "One Second After"; Hal Lindsay's "Late Great Planet Earth"; and Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins' "Left Behind" series, this The Road to Revelation series is just as good, and maybe better. The plot is well established, but with new characters and built on current events, the near future can be related to with a lot of possibilities. P.G. Allison's "Missy the Werecat" series is built on very current events as well, which makes it very fun reading. I hope this is a good review? Jack Durrett
I just finished book 3 and it was riveting. I actually got the chills and goosebumps at one point. Book 1 did that to me too, but for different reasons. The most mind boggling thing about this series is just how real our current times are to his writing. Watching the news months later can bring my mind right back to these books! Book 3 had me on the edge of my seat several times, and at the end...well...I'd better keep that part to myself
Mr. Well man writes a good book series that talks about the End Times and peoples relationship with Jesus. The thing is I can see too many possibilities in our present time as I read his very good piece of fiction based on the Bible. My suggestion would be to look into your heart and consider your relationship with Jesus and God. Mr. Well man writes literally, but it may be closer than any of us think. Thank you for the good series, sir.
This KU library selection is almost impossible to put aside. As the end times advance, Ford's group is growing in size, as well as threats from the outside world. As bad as things may be, however, they know that much worse is yet to come. I appreciate the research the author has put into this series, and the reference notes and suggestions for additional reading.
This is just a small sample of what life may be like during the end times. Each book in this series built up to those coming days. There were quite a few life surprises in book 3. The Madhi has spoken. Now I hope there is a book 4 to bring this all to a glorious end. Great job. Thank you.
A wonderful read. Having read Revelations so many times it is obviously challenging to truly understand the mysteries that God has embedded in his word. I respect any author who takes on the challenge of so deeply researching and putting forth a great book as this one is.
I’ve read all three books so far, this one the last of this series, and I must admit some of the best storytelling I’ve read in a while. Absolutely loved the connections to scriptures, even though the story is fictional it really makes you think. Highly recommend!
Overall, this series has been well written. I like the pulling together of the several prophecies of the end times. I really appreciate the Christian dependence on God rather than their own resources, that is so often typifies books of this genre.
This is my favorite book in the series to date. Revolving around the various lives of the characters involved, and how they persevere. Many reach for Jesus and the Lord, but there are some who don't. These are the actions that define the end times. Very engrossing, I hope there's more to come!
This is the third in the series about revelation and the prophecies that come with it. This is a fictional account what is a good read and very interesting. The author uses the Bible and the verses to show the prophecy of what is to come. I recommend this book for all who are interested in the book of revelation and the prophecy sick
Book 3 in this series is well written and keeps you wanting to read the next one.
The Bible coming to life with the world falling into utter chaos which goes along with Prophecy. Can a small group hold out against evil people who will try to take and destroy what isn't theirs? I can't wait for book 4.
I am enjoying this series of novels. I think they are well written and creative and I find them thought provoking. It was hard to put down. I don’t necessarily agree with all of Clifford Wellman’s take on how the final seven years of tribulation will unfold, but his theories are worth considering.
More story to try to take in. Very scary. I find his take on the End interesting. He is setting up the next book with some foreshadowing I see will lead to some sad betrayals. Well worth a read.
This book was spell-binding! I found much to think about, much to ponder and mostly, to Praise God for who He is and to Praise Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!
I chose 5 stars because The Road to Revelation series is well written, with lots of Scripture to back up the events taking place. I am looking forward to reading book 4. I encourage you to read this series and decide where you stand.
I wanted to find a book that did not have Christians raptured at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period. I am not convinced the bible teachers a pre trib rapture. I plan on suggesting this book to family and friends.
The third book in the series lives up to the series, maintaining interest and excitement. An excellent learning tool for those interested in the Bible’s plan for the future. God’s plan! Too many typos and spelling errors mar what could be an excellent book!
It was very disappointing to find out that the author is post tribulation. I am pre tribulation so this hinders my decision to finish the series. Although the holy spirit just nudged me and said to "finish reading could be some helpful testimony of future events that you will not experience🙏".
A great series. Goes along with the Bible really well. I gave it a five star because I felt these books are a witness to those who know not Jesus and a hope to those of us who waiting the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This author has done the be set job on a revelation series I have ever read. He shows where the info comes from the Bible as u go. I feel like I am in the middle of it. Loved the series
