Ashley was happy with her mate Matt.
Ashley, the fox shifter always new that Matt was her soulmate since they were teenagers. Until recently he knew it too. Suddenly the wolf shifter dumps her in public. Feeling rejected and embarrassed, Ashley moves out to a cabin near Purple Ridge.
On her own outside the city, unknown creatures begin circling the cabin during the night. Matt suddenly shows up to try and protect her after she’s tried to move on.

Another great read, with lots of chemistry and hotness. This is a well written story and hooked me from the start.This is a quick hot read, with a interesting plot and fantastic characters, great emotion and Loads of steam!

Ashley, a fox shifter, knew Matt, a wolf shifter, was his fated mate back in high school. So it was a total shock to her when Matt tells his mate, Ashley, in the midst of a friend’s party among a room full of people, to leave their home! He wanted her to go back to her parents to live in their human town, but that wasn’t what she wanted.
When Ashley’s aunt died, she had left her a cabin. So until she could figure this mess out, she moves to the cabin on the mountain. What she hasn’t been told yet – because men like to think they can handle everything on their own without including their mate – is the fact that Matt had borrowed the money for the house he bought them and now owed money to a dragon loan shark! He thinks getting away from her will somehow protect her. It doesn’t, but she is quite capable of driving him away, at least for a while. With his plan not working, will Matt protect his mate? Will he tell her what he has done and let her work with him to resolve this issue?

Sometimes the easy thing, is not the right thing. Matt, wolf shifter and Ashley, fox shifter knew they were fated. They were madly in love and just, fit! Ashley, noticed Matt was not acting himself. Then suddenly he publically broke up with her. Ashley was shocked, but she had a good job as a nurse and she was not leaving Embers Abyss! She went to a cabin her Aunt left her near Purple Ridge. It was a mess, but cleaning gave her time to work out her frustrations. Matt, made a very bad decision and now the bill collector came a calling. Matt planned on handling his problems on his own. Will Matt successfully handle his problems? Will he try to get Ashley back? Will Ashley accept the breakup? Will the bill collector be reasonable? Nice story. Very quick! Matt is neither tactical nor strategic, but he means well. Story should be longer to develop the characters and expand the story. A quick read...I read it in a day! But it sure made lunch time enjoyable!! A delightful quick read read...quick n to the point...high school sweethearts get together have a few good years. Matt makes bad decision and thinks he's doing Ashley a favor by splitting up with her so the loan dragon won't go after her. But loan dragon makes a move on Ashley and Matt gets into fight with loan dragon. Ashley takes care of Matt after fight and he breaks down and tells her what happened. She decides to forgive but makes him work at fixing things between them. It is a good read for a cold day or weekend to curl up with a blanket and a mug of something hot to drink! Enjoy!

-Pathetic excuse of a hero, dumps his mate because he thinks she will not be safe if she is with him!
-H goes to a bar, hooks up with some random chick just to show h's friends that he doesn't care that he left h!
-The random girl he hooks up with was one piece of art, seriously, they enter her apartment, making out and as soon as they enter, she goes furious and bashing her roommate because she didn't wash the dishes.
-The make out remained aside, this chick starts washing the dishes and starts blabbering about her grandma, till then H takes a good nap on the Couch.
-He wakes up and the chick is sitting on his lap with a red wine and....I don't even wanna remember the Shit I read.

Matt tells his mate, Ashley to leave. Heartbroken her mate is rejecting her after so many years together, she moves to her aunt's cabin on the mountain. What she doesn't know is that Matt owes the loan he took to get the house to a dragon loan shark. He's trying to protect her. But the dragon breaks into the cabin. She's able to fight him off with bear spray, but he'll be back. Matt takes off after the dragon to fight him and a couple hours later, Ashley finds him and his bloody outside her front door. I wanted more interaction with the mountain dwellers and an epilogue showing them down the road with pups.

I loved this book so much that I went and bought the two previous books in the series

She flees to a cabin she has recently inherited from her grandmother, but danger will, follow her there. Can matt step up and keep his mate safe or are they destined to go their separate ways You will have to read to see

Ashley grew up with Matt they both knew that they were mates and they ended up making a home together but one night at a friends party Matt told Ashley to move out so she did but luckily her aunt left her a cabin in the woods so she moved in there. Matt was at a bar when a woman walked up to him she gave him a cheesy pick up line to take her home so Matt grabbed her hand he looked back and saw Ashley’s friends sitting there watching him and he knows that it will get back to Ashley maybe it was for the best. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is an enjoyable, quick-read wolf shifter romance. The plot is interesting with likable characters that have good chemistry between them.

I couldn't put the book down. The story of Matt and Ashley was amazingly well written. I enjoyed it very much. Matts a wolf shifter and Ashley is a fox shifter. They are fated mates and Matt tries to protect Ashley by dumping her hoping she would go live with humans until he could figure out how to pay back the money he owed to a dragon shifter. I recieved a free Arc copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A Heartfelt Short Story!
“Engulfed Wolf” is Ashley and Matt’s story. It is a turbulent tale of deception, and mistrust in the relationship of shifter mates. In this tale, their marriage and hearts are tested and could possibly be broken. This is an emotional journey back to love that is well worth the read. I recommend this tale.

Engulfed wolf is book 3 to the ember abyss series.
This series just keeps getting better and better everytime I read one of autumn's books.
This was a short sweet read.
Matt and Ashley are fated mates and have been together since high school. Matt gets into trouble and it tests his relationship with Ashley.
Cant wait to read the rest in this series.

I started reading this and was thinking I had to be wrong because Ashley still seemed hung up on Matt but then you realize that what Matt was trying to do was protect her. It was sweet but not necessary. There's some mystery as to why Matt was doing that and then the magic of it all just sucked me in. It was cute, sexy, and I want to know more of the mountains.

Matt and Ashley are fated mate shifters but have hit a snag in their relationship by a secret. Two heads are better than one when a problem needs to be solved. But Matt, your typical male, thinks that his decision to a secret he is hiding will keep Ashley safe. This author knows how to write steamy scenes in her third book of the "Wolf of Shifters of Ember Abyss". Enjoy!

Wonderful read! Matt and Ashley have been together since teenagers but all of a sudden Matt is not acting like he wants nothing to do with her. Ashley knows he’s her soulmate but nothing like getting dumped in public. You will enjoy the story and characters.

Matt has gotten himself into a bind and then tries to keep his mate safe by publicly breaking up with her. But the kind of love that they share can not be severed so easily. This was fast and an easy read with a happy ever after and I really enjoyed it!

This is a short story. The h has always known she would be with H until one day he publicly dumped her. Total shock to her! I’m not going to tell you why he does what he does because you need to read the book. It does end on a HEA. I didn’t notice any grammatical errors either.

A great shifter romance that I enjoyed reading. I also loved the surprise rescuers, not putting anymore because don't want to put spoilers. I appreciate getting books to review from this writer, so far I haven't been disappointed. This book is available on Amazon, Kobo and Audible Jan 13th

Matt's an idiot that essentially got into trouble with a loan shark. Ashley has to bail his ass out after he breaks up with her. She wont let no dragon shifter slow her down especially when the woods come to help. Definitly worth the afternoon read. I recieved an ARC copy for my honest review
