4 maybe 4.5 stars. I loved it, pulled another late nighter but no coffee so finished this morning. I preferred Deadringer and Mara’s craziness but that was a stand-alone and this one isn’t, so more to come. Yay for that. Mara is now playing matchmaker.

I enjoyed the story, the characters and everything from beginning to end but it did feel like something was missing. No cliffhanger but looking forward to the next one. Will be interesting to see where things go next. Favourite character was Mammon.

So there were quite a few typos, and occasionally it felt like it went all over the place but it was fun. I love the characters, I love the uniqueness of the setting. Even though it was pretty obvious from the get go how it was all gonna pan out, it was still fun.

My favorite thing though was the representation. Trans people, gender fluid people, and guess what...................... PEOPLE ON THE ASEXUAL SPECTRUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so damn rare to have someone whose ace in a book, more rare that they're the main char, and it's a fuckin' unicorn when it's in an RH. Thank you Michaela Haze :)

Left to be desired

Ok read, tad confusing at times yet I still wanted to finish it. My confusion is on the power are H has and the times she wants to actually use it, so much danger and crap going on around her yet she only uses it twice? Most the time she's hidding behind someone? It really didn't make sense. I also didn't like not really knowing what ppl looked like, we get something completely out of no where and it still doesn't paint a picture, we have no idea what anyone looks like but we get a tattooed chest 50% in, gagued ears 40%, my Roma looks, wdf is that? We're all white except keria? Its kind of ridiculous, yet in one instance we get How her mother was clutching her Nokia 3310 in her hand? Yes it actually says that, I get no information on what these ppl look like but I know what kind of phone her late mother was holding? I also didn't like how this was a RH, I felt no heat nor connection between any of these ppl, I'm not sure if they even had sex! It's them kissing in a room they says they take turns all night? Turns kissing, having sex? What! I liked the plot and nothing else at all. Won't be finishing

Typos, spelling mistakes and a story that didn't make much sense.

I've enjoyed previous work from this author. But this new series came across as a jumbled mess. Plot holes and unexplained bits in the book made a bad read. I understand that this is part of a series, but you still have to explain basic things! Nobody likes being kept in the dark for no reason! Btw, I don't understand why this is being described as a standalone? Anyway, I was hoping it would get better...it didn't. I wish it was a DFN for me but I'm nice and gave it the benefit of the doubt. My bad.

Oh, I was so angry at this book. They literally go to the sex ring of hell and then the author just says they had sex? Like totally glossed over the whole thing.
I was not a fan of the casual m/m like for the same reason it would not have happened and it would have been fine.
I liked the rules for the hell circle, whoever rules has to suffer a duality. Mannon could only be out of his kingdom for one hour a day. His second in command is bound by magic to stay next to him including and they would occasionally have sex with each other if the mood struck them.

Loveable FMC

Honestly the characters were fabulous, I don't often leave reviews but this book is worth looking at. A few grammar errors but nothing that detracts from the story at all. I loved it.
Trigger warning: deals with self-harm along with depression and anxiety.. which is another reason I loved reading this story, the emotional depth. Anyways, I highly recommend this book.

This slow burn poly romance was a joy to read. The narrator/main character is often unreliable in that she doesn't know a lot of what is happening. Thrust into the greed circle of Hell, our main character has to figure out her place and herself. She ends up bound to 2 of the 3 men and has to find a way to balance that while also saving them and herself.

Spoiler:
There is no sex in this one but there is in the next one.

Hmm

Mostly melancholy. Not much heat but there was development and interaction. Another with the sins. Interesting ending/ cliffhanger. . .

Kept me guessing

I love a story that has me guessing with my own theories. Lots of surprises were in this story and I enjoyed every minute.
