Rate this book
Nick is a long-haul truck driver who thrives on the isolated lifestyle it provides him. He decided a long time ago that he was meant to spend the rest of his life alone. Can a beautiful curvy woman stranded on the side of the road in a blizzard convince him otherwise? It had been fifteen years since he had kissed a woman. It didn’t take long before it all came back to him, and as her tongue pressed against his mouth, he opened it and welcomed her in. She tasted so much better than he had imagined. His hands slid down her back and gripped her thick backside and pulled her closer to him. He savored her mouth as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He wanted the kiss to last forever, but he also wanted more of her, if she was willing. Will one snowy night of passion be enough for Nick or will he decide to give up his life of solitude in order to make Sara his forever? Nick is a long haul trucker who always wanted to be one. Sarah or Lily is the runaway bride. She realizes on the day of her wedding somewhere over the last couple of years the guy who loved her curvy sexy self is now become a spoiled, critical, manipulative, and controlling jerk. All starting when a friend reference him being with a curvy girl and he puts her on a diet. The same curves he used to love. She realizes she had a part in it by loving him and allowing his at the moment logical explanations seem plausible however now standing bad, no it was her becoming more isolated from friends and her being surrounded by only him, his friends, & family.

So, the morning of the wedding she writes a not say she’s leaving. Packs a bag and goes using her car. Not knowing a blizzard is coming she pushes through wanting to put distance between here ex and herself. But conditions for driving become unsafe she pulls over and her car stalls. After ten minutes of no one on the road and the temperature dropping fast she gets lucky, Nick is ten minutes away from home. He stops to help offers her a room for the length of the blizzard.

The both feel an instant attraction which surprises Sarah because well hello just left her wedding. For Nick he swore off women twelve-years-ago when his fiancée left him for someone with more money. Ouch! The find themselves comfortable with each other.

See how they progress from here if their thoughts are worth exploring or leave and to more trouble. I enjoyed this book very much. The author was able to take the small amount of words and create a story worth reading. Which I know is very hard to do. I give this: 5 stars. I got this Free on Amazon.

The trucker gets the girl.

I had recognized Faye's name from social media and knew she was a newer indie author so I had to give this book a read.

I honestly don't think I've ever read a romance with a truck driving leading man, this was a fun change of pace.

A bit of a runaway bride scenario along with a blizzard sets the scene for Sara and Nick to have an insta-lust connection that of course leads to their HEA.

Nick

Faye Dylan is a completely new author for me. I enjoyed reading Nick quite a bit. It's an incredibly fast moving instaeverything story with a happily ever after. Faye Dylan is a newer author i absolutely cannot wait to watch grow her craft. I have a feeling she is going to be a household name in the instalove romance world before too long.

Predictable but cute

I had low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by how cute my heart felt this was a rational I like that everyone was an adult and that there weren’t any weird shenanigans
