Worth The Wait - SynopsisDani travels west to the BBR ranch to help her grieving sister Victoria get over the death of John, Victoria's ranch owner husband. At the BBR ranch Dani is distracted by two men.One of them, although he obviously cares for Dani, he seems guarded and does not show any initiative in having a romantic relationship with her. She is very attracted to him; he is extremely good looking but that is not the only reason she feels drawn to him. Her connection to this man affects her emotionally and she tries to understand how he thinks about life and love. He is a third generation cowboy who operates in simple terms with no emotional baggage additions or deletions but with an embracement of the clear truths that are actually present and confirmed and he is totally against using GMO's at the ranch. The other man whom Dani is somewhat attracted to and has fun with, is interested in a relationship with her and makes a point to tell her. This man is not as handsome as the other man, but he is good looking in his own right and knows that women need romance, gentle talking and laughing in order for their hearts to be melted. He is a southern boy who charms Dani every chance he gets and says what she needs to hear.Through friendships with both men Dani discovers many things about each of them as well as about herself. She comes to the conclusion that our willingness to wait reveals the value we place on the object we are waiting for, and unless she can have the man she longs for physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually she does not want anyone. In the end will she discover that the man she is attracted to has walls too tall to scale? If he is truly worth the wait, can she endure the waiting? Will she end up alone and lonely for a man that she cannot have? A man she dreams about, has fantasies about and writes poems about? Or will she settle for the man she understands, a man who understands her; a good person who treats her well but that she is only marginally attracted to knowing that love and desire will grow in time?
