A killer walks the foggy streets of London. One who doesn't kill out of malice but necessity. He kills because he has to, it's his job, his burden, his repentance. Some call him a monster. Most call him a murderer. If they knew why he did it, they would all call him a hero.
Now made into a Feature-Length screenplay by the amazingly talented Cathy Hewitt. This book has been re-released with a brand new title, cover and complete re-edit.
An American based author, James fell in love with reading as a child. After spending over two decades as a Fugitive Recovery agent, he finally decided it was time to take a chance and possibly make a change. With little more than his love for the reading and writing of great stories, he set out on the pursuit of a lifelong dream. To become a published author.
That dream was realized in 2017 with the creation of Wraieth Books and the release of his first novel, Heaven's Hunter. Inspired by the reception his first book received, he released a second book in June of 2018 titled Half-Breed The Last Dhampyr. An epic fantasy with a bit of a dark side that went on to spend several months in the top one hundred bestseller ranks on the Amazon Canadian sight. As well as in the top five hundred for the U.S and U.K. Solidifying him as an up and coming fantasy author.
Taking inspiration from such greats as R.A Salvatore, Terry Brooks, and the immortal J.R.R. Tolkien, just to name a few. James now focuses his efforts on creating his own great works to share with the world. Hoping that someday his love for writing will finally allow him to lay down his gun and badge forever.

For me, it was a reminder of the dark, grimy works of entertainment that came out during the 90s! We had Todd McFarlane's Spawn in the world of comics, the Thomas Harris novels featuring Hannibal Lector, gaming expanded into much edgier realms with Shadowman, Legacy of Kain, and Theif, and there was Korn... This book reminded me of all of those elements from that decade and then some. From a literary standpoint, I would have to say that Mr. Wraith follows the works of Robert E. Howard in my opinion. The story at its core is one of redemption and atonement, yet the greatest strength shown from the author is his excellent undertaking of thrilling action scenes and a beautiful romance between two broken people. The adventure pulled me in for sure, but I will admit that the pacing of the protagonist's backstory could have been tightened. There was a good dose of twists in the narrative, none of which will I spoil, though when it comes right down to it the title and the weight it claims to pull is very light. I would have rather had no ties to the Historical side of things than what little we did get. Still, this book was a great time. Ace of Spades by this author is a much more polished story and will definitely fill your need for a good old-fashioned Detective romp. I look forward to my next reading experience with this author! Keep on writing!
Seemed like a good concept for a story but it's so badly written I couldn't read further than the first few chapters. Poor grammar, historically and geographically inaccurate.
I loved this book. It reads a lot like a movie or TV show. The story was interesting and fast paced. It has some great twists and references I was wasn't expecting. Highly recommend it.
