I really could connect with this book. I had an aunt who always sent me things in the mail and it was such an incredible thing when I got to open a letter from her. She quit doing it as I got older, and I was thoroughly disappointed. Then I realized that I am going to be able to do this sometime in the future for someone I know. I can be a light in someone's life just as my aunt was part of mine as I was growing up!

4-6; contemporary realistic fiction; Beautiful story on the relationship between a girl and her next door neighbor! This book literally had me in tears the whole time. Perfect for any age (even adults). If you are looking for a tear jerker this one is for you!

This book is in early primary and primary grades and is traditional fantasty. I really loved this book! It has a really unexpected twist in the middle that I had no idea was coming! Really good for students and help inspire them to encourage one another
