He had nothing, but now Justin Walker has it all. The pauper has become a prince. Finally recovered from the attempt on his life and with the woman he adores securely by his side, it's time to embrace his wealthy long-lost family and celebrate the fact that he now has the world at his feet. From a life of struggle and deprivation, Justin is presented with untold wealth, unconditional love and an opportunity to help the lives of others. Rocking the streets of Liverpool with the creation of The Guardian - a life centre for the young homeless like no other before it - he stumbles directly into mortal danger. Where there once was brilliant light, now an evil darkness stalks Justin and Ellen and threatens to destroy everything that they have built together. Both are strong. Both are prepared to do whatever it takes, but can their powerful love and partnership withstand the trauma and danger brought to them as a result of Justin's actions? If they do survive, will what they have together be smashed beyond repair? In Fallen - the second book in the Angel Series - Justin and Ellen are faced with much more than it's possible to survive without ultimately breaking. Wealth isn't enough. Trust isn't enough. Even love isn't enough. Will Justin and Ellen discover what IS enough?
After reading Guardian, the first book in the series, I couldn't wait to read Fallen. Wow! Really loved it... the genuine love between Justin and Ellen, the page-turning suspense... all lead to a heartwarming, but tense story. These two lovers have grown closer, but trouble seems never far away. Justin's good fortune, and his altruistic nature means that he can do some good, and Ellen is right at his side. But, there is evil in the world and Justin can't close his eyes to it. I adore Justin - I absolutely love him. Ellen is a lucky woman, but I guess Justin is just as lucky to have found such a spirited and lovely person to share his life with. By the end of the book I wonder if there will ever be a happy ever after. A must read. You'll love it.
