Kathleen Brooks does it once again. I absolutely loved this book so very much! Jace was such a fun character. His character development went from amazing to better than amazing in no time at all. Stella. Ok first... I LOVE HER NAME!! Given that is my daughter's name... Her character was perfectly executed. She is as amazing as what I would wish my daughter would grow to be as well. Lets talk plot. So I kinda had this one figured out... But it was still such a good read! Kathleen has now became one of my top 3 authors. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!! I am so excited about Kale! I cannot wait for his book!!
Cute story of Stella who moves to Keeneston to open a flower and garden center and her romance with local doctor Jace Davies. But someone is unhappy with the romance and is aggressive in making her life...deadly.
It was nice that it wasn’t an international terrorist or professional criminal again. The story is always the same plot points but I keep reading these because the characters are different (okay, strong man saves strong woman, but they aren’t exactly the same).
Forever Saved is the fourteenth book in the Forever Bluegrass series (Bluegrass Book #28) by Kathleen Brooks. ‘Bluegrass’ combines romance and suspense, with a touch of Southern charm. A few years ago a friend recommended this author, and her many series, to me - as she had devoured every book and absolutely loved them, singing the author’s praises from high from the hilltops. So, being an avid reader who loves discovering new authors and enticing reads, I took my friends recommendations seriously, and started amassing Ms. Brooks many books, with the plan to have a huge binge session/buddy read with my friend. But with so many books on my TBR, and new, exciting ones releasing every week, I always seemed to get pulled into other books- as these just kept piling up. Since part of my yearly reading challenges for the past few years has been to dust off my TBR pile/s and read the books that have been languishing there the longest, I decided to finally dive in and get the series read. While I did ‘enjoy’ the books for the most part- I didn’t fall madly in love with them as my friend promised that I would. But that’s ok, I am really happy that she loves them as much as she does. But for me, they were just an ‘okay’ read. With plenty of small-town drama, intrigue, angst, chemistry, humour, community, family, friendship, charm, mystery, tension, danger, emotion, and suspense- the stories are about finding love unexpectedly and love conquering all. The books can all be read as standalones if you wanted, without feeling ‘lost’ or like you are missing big pieces of the picture. This is because each instalment introduces its own ‘couple’- providing plenty of romance, a dash of suspense, and some sweet development to make your heart flutter. But I have to be honest, I found there were a few issues which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the stories/series. Such as the ‘wordiness’ which really slowed the flow of the storyline at times, as there was such an overwhelming amount of detail which didn’t really ‘add’ to or propel the story in any way, except to perhaps distract from the plot. I love details, normally- but not when there are pages of descriptions, as things tend to ‘bog’ down and the flow/pace/plot gets lost amongst the detritus- and also leads to some ‘wandering’ storylines. There were also many loose ends, for me- threads that were left hanging, or not fully woven into the storyline- which I found a bit frustrating. I really wanted to love this series as much as my friend did…. but instead, I was left a little disappointed. Happy reading! 📚💙
This is another great addition to the Forever Bluegrass series with the doctor in the Davies Family, Jace finally finding the love of his life with Stella, who just opened the new garden center. The only problem is someone is threatening her life right after Jace asked her on a date. Stella thought it was her old boyfriend Rick but the threats kept getting worst. The person even tried to kill her dog by poisoning him. They got to him in time and he lived but now Stella feared for her life. With the help of all the Davies family and the cousins and town people they were determined to protect Stella from this person. The story gets exciting as they have to take down this person after she kidnaps Stella. At the sametime Riley is about to have her baby and it is a high risk birth because of her elevated blood pressure but Jace is on top of her special pregnancy . They capture the crazed person that is trying to kill Stella just in time before she succeeds.. Jace and Stella get their happily ever after and after they get married Riley goes into labor. This made for one exciting story as everyone pulled together to get Jace to the delivery of Matt and Riley's little bundle of joy. I highly recommend this series as it is always enjoyable to revisit this unique town.
As usual Kathleen Brooks hits it out of the ballpark! This was an exciting, interesting and entertaining story! I never get tired of her books.... I have read everything she has written and this one is another perfect example of the warmth and feeling of inclusiveness that her books bring to the reader. You feel like you are part of the families, part of the town, like they are your families and town. Jace and Stella's story was heartwarming, very romantic, and sweet with a mystery that kept getting more and more intriguing. As usual everyone stepped in with support, affection, love and a willing helping hand!!! I like that Kathleen gives us a Family Tree chart so that we know who is who and what book we can find them in in some cases. I love, of course, that we get glimpses of all the other quirky and unusual people and family members that populate the whole series!!! I highly recommend this book and every book in Kathleen Brooks' various series. They are always a really good read with great characters and stories you don't want to end because they fill you with such warmth and enjoyment!!!😇
🎍🩺Date at the gym?! Girl what took you so long to dump his ass?
🎍🩺I love April.❤️
🎍🩺Addison.... I just finished Forever Guarded and couldn't remember who Draven is with. But I still don't remember Addison's character.
🎍🩺Since Rick would be the obvious choice and it doesn't build mystery I'm betting on Molly but let's see we haven't met everyone yet.
🎍🩺At this point it's kinda ridiculous that no one even thinking that it could be someone who likes or liked Jace.
🎍🩺Ok forget my bet it's definitely Molly and they're making it too obvious.
🎍🩺That was extreme measure for Jace to confess his feelings......😒
🎍🩺How weird is it that the moment Davies family entered into Stella's life her own brother and his family disappeared? It's like the author forgot them altogether. Someone arsoned his sister's home and tried to poison her dog, the whole village is there for Stella but not her brother and family.
🎍🩺These characteristics are not stupid but they sure acted like it in this book. It was clear as day who's the culprit.

This series keeps getting better and better. Addictive lovable mischievous family fun. Jace has worked hard to become a wonderful doctor. He's smart, loving and always there to help everyone. He's focused on his career and deserves to be happy with a funny, loving woman like Stella.
Stella makes everyone smile. She's a beautiful hardworking lady. She's funny and smart and exactly what Jace needs in his life. Together they can face anything. I love how similar they are when it comes to the love they have for their family.
Stella is the star of this book. She's understanding and helpful with Jace and his medical practice needs. She's a strong supportive partner he needs and she loves his family. She's a perfect addition to the Davies family.
Jace and Stella story is addictive, engaging, fun and full of love . You will not put down until the end. I absolutely recommend this fantastic story and can't wait for the next story in this series.
What an awesome story. I believe I love each one of Kathleen's books and this one is no different.
Stella is new to Keeneston, but if you're a single woman, staying new is just a matter of time. When Stella has an emergency Dr. Have comes to the rescue and from then I , the sparks fly. Unfortunately, someone isn't happy about this new buddy g relationship and will stop at nothing to ensure that it doesn't flourish any further. Leave it to the townsfolk to squash any threats to another possible marriage to celebrate.
Loved this story..as always you laugh, you cry, we've got pregnancies, and someone is bound to get shot. Just another summer in Keeneston.
Kathleen has done a wonderful job entertaining t you while highlighting important issues like infertility, difficult pregnancy and birth, human trafficking, and navigating being in a !are family and community.
Great jib! And as always, we can't wait for the next one.
It is always a joy to visit Keeneston to find out what the characters are up to. Forever Saved is the fourteenth book in the Forever Bluegrass Series by Kathleen Brooks. This is Jace and Stella's story. There is definitely a connection between the two characters. I really like the character development of these two. There is chemistry as well as respect for one another and each other's career. Of course, it wouldn't be Keeneston without interference from family and the town. Stella has a stalker and Jace, their families, and the town come to her aid. Forever Saved is my favorite book in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next installment of the Forever Bluegrass Series. Kudos to Kathleen Brooks!
I’ve probably said this before, this is her best book to date. I laughed and teared up at the end. I have been caring for my stepmom after hip replacement and while we were in the docs office for her follow up, I got to the part where Deputy Andy had to ask the tough questions. I laughed so hard, mom and the nurses wanted to know about it. The clinic was in an uproar laughing and started sharing some seriously hysterical dating stories. Thank you for giving them a lift from a very bad couple of months. This is a small town on the Oregon Coast and the medical staff needed to laugh.
I enjoyed my journey back to Keeneston with Stella and Jace. I laughed so hard at the Kale joke because hey, it was priceless. Trust me it is not the only comic relief in the masterpiece by Kathleen. It is just the one I loved the most.
Now to the love story in the making and the villain I called with no questions asked. It was fun to read of the interaction and how Jace and Stella just fit. They understood each other’s lives and respected them without complaint. Lending hands and always being there is what the town is about but these two showed how even without the added support they had each other’s six.
I loved this book. Once in a while you read a book that you just can't get out of your mind. This was such a book. I read it when it first dropped and read it again the next day. Then I was reading the book before and when I finished that one natural progression is you got it I read the book for the third time in a week. The characters were well written and you got to see more of the younger cousins, along with other minor characters. Can't wait for the next book which is not until next year. I would highly recommend this book and this series to anyone who wants romance, action and a happy ever after.
I love the Forever Bluegrass series, Kathleen never disappoints. Stella was such a wonderful heroine, funny, caring, and helpful, and I especially loved that she faced the problems encountered head on without feeling that she needed to change or get better than she already was. Jace has been a bit of a unknown so far in the series and I loved getting to know him better. His caring and commitment to others goes well beyond his family, patients and even the town and I loved the lengths he would go to to protect everyone he loves. Great read, wonderful characters, so glad I can visit Keeneston any time I want.
In Forever Saved, Jace Davies is settling into a new life as a doctor when his world is turned upside down by a dangerous threat against Stella Winters. As their budding romance is tested by escalating danger, Jace must do whatever it takes to protect Stella from a malicious force determined to tear them apart. This book offers the perfect mix of romance, suspense, and emotional stakes. Jace’s protective nature and Stella’s resilience make for an incredibly compelling dynamic. The tension builds steadily as the mystery unravels, keeping readers invested in every moment. Forever Saved is a thrilling ride with a heartwarming romance at its core.
So, I worked a full day and then immediately sat down to read, stopping only to eat dinner and sleep for a bit. I woke up early to finish before another full day of work. SOOOO worth it! I fell for Jace and Stella almost immediately. But the suspense here was very interesting and kept me glued to the book. Kathleen does an amazing job of keeping you interested in the whole book. I will say that if you haven't read the other Keeneston stories, you REALLY should - this book will mean so much more.
Ohhh loved it! Great to step back into Keeneston and catch up with the next generation, whilst the oldies are still keeping up! Have and Stellas story is as always with Kathleen Brooks packed with action, intrigue, fun, not guys, stronger women, phew, and family by the bus load, a few twists and some sadness and joy! Who knew so many emotions in every page. Cannot recommend highly enough, suggest to get the full effect starting at the beginning of the series is recommended, a good binge read to meet all the clan!!
We’re back in Keenston Kentucky and it’s better than ever. In this ever expanding town Jace Davies is one of the more quiet characters. He’s not in law enforcement but a committed doctor ready to help. When the new single lady in town arrives Jaces not only claims her but shows the town that even though he’s the less aggressive Davies he’s still a Davies and is more than capable of defending his woman when the time comes.
Jace, as a physician, is one of the more stable and less thrill seeking Davies. Stella moves to Keeneston and opens a gardening center. Jace is instantly smitten when treating her niece for a snake bite. Their romance is fast and furious, as we have grown to love in this series. Tammy, his mother, is hilarious in this installment. I had forgotten how much fun she brings. There is danger and drama which brings the entire community to the rescue. So much to love in this book!
You can never go wrong with a visit to Keeneston. The characters are funny, lovable, giving and know how to take care of family and friends. They open their arms to anyone that moves to their small town but beware of trying to bring trouble to Keeneston because the whole town will take you on and put you where you belong. The Rose sisters rule the town with their own unique personalities and temper. Congratulations on another winning addition to the series.
I tried y'all, I love these books so much I really tried to stretch it out to the weekend I didn't even make it 24 hours. A trip to Keenston is always filled with laughter, suspense and a town full of amazing characters. It just keeps getting better and better it just always too short!! Never stop doing what you do Kathleen Except maybe right a little faster, lol!
As always, Kathleen Brooks Forever series has added to the Davies family in the best way. I really enjoyed that Jace was an easy calm guy, but was willing to do whatever it takes to save someone he loves. Stella was a super cute dirt loving girl, who was a perfect match for him. I like that there was a little back story about Jace's time in Africa, and how bothered he was by it. And there is a new baby in this book!
I always love reading these books because I get to visit Keenston. Jace Davies is the town's family doctor and he meets the new garden owner Stella when her niece gets a snake bite. Stella starts getting threatening text, house broken in to, and her dog gets poison. Jace and Stella start spending time together but someone wants to keep them apart...who could it be ???
I loved Jace and Stella was okay. The drama over the threats was OTT for me. I didn't quite understand why it was necessary. I also knew who it was pretty quickly. It just kind of fell flat for me in the storyline. I felt Stella had a lot going on and the drama wasn't really necessary. Her being new to town and getting over her ex would have been enough. Also, the whole town adopting her quickly didn't ring true with the other books in the series.
So, I worked a full day and then immediately sat down to read, stopping only to eat dinner and sleep for a bit. I woke up early to finish before another full day of work. SOOOO worth it! Forever Saved is the latest installment of the Forever Bluegrass series. I enjoyed Draven and Addison incorporated into this story and look forward to their continuing story. Jase and Stella enjoyed a typical Keeneston romance with everyone in their business! I want Keeneston to be real so I can move there! Best series ever!
So happy to be back in Keenston. This is 1 of my favorite books series Jace and Stella See each other and are instantly attracted.Come along for the ride and see what has been going on in our favorite little town. So thankful for a town that is always there whenever there is danger.
I absolutely ADORE this series and it's spinoff. As usual there oodles of laughs, combined with danger. Who is stalking the woman that caught Jace's eye? The danger starts escalating and the town are on the hunt. I love the multi -generational family stories and catching up with past faves. This book definitely doesn't disappoint!!
Stella has ended a relationship and decided to start over in a new town with her garden/nursery business.before she even opens the door an emergency happens and she needs the help of Jace the town doctor. Theses two are meant for each other . They are cute, romantic and all around perfect. Great story, really enjoyed all of it.
