After finally getting along (?) with bucho's nephew, Hiroshi, Aya has gotten even closer to her beloved, and as a reward for doing her best over the last week, Aya embarks on her first hot springs trip with him! She gets to see bucho in a yukata... and even in glasses! What's more, she gets to share an exciting and steamy open-air bath with him... Here's another episode in Yumi Hisawa's dangerous-and-heart-throbbing cohabitation love story!
This series keeps surprising me! It's done a complete 180. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it or continue it after reading the first volume; however, it's been improving with every volume that I pick up. This particular volume follows Aya and Akira as they travel on vacation to spend some time away from work. While on this trip, they enjoy each other's company and do some fun activities. However, the real twist comes when a mysterious woman recognizes Akira when he and Aya are on the way to watch fireworks. Initially, it is not revealed to the reader what role she plays; however, from inference it is clear that this could possibly be Akira's ex-wife. There is a lot of information that is revealed in regard to her character. Honestly, I can't wait to pick up the fifth volume.
I do really like this series as a fluff read, especially since the volumes are a breeze to read through, but Aya never seems to mature in her sexual encounters with her boss-boyfriend. I don’t know if she’s written like that because Japanese women tend to be infantilized — crying, saying, “No,” etc. — when it comes to sex in manga, but it does bother me and sour my experience with this manga in particular. But I’ll continue to read it because it is a series I’m growing attached to, problematic tropes aside.
A cute volume where our couple spend time vacationing together. They go to the springs, a festival and have copious amounts of sex. It’s all cute and sweet abd not much happens to ruin the sweetness.
The volume ends with some slight drama but it is slight. Mostly to set up the next volume. As a charming interlude this worked well. I read it with a smile on my face but no real expectation either
Alright, so this is the volume when things started to get really interesting. Aya and Akira go on vacation and while there, Akira spots a woman he recognizes. He doesn’t tell Aya, though, and when he looks back, she’s gone. At the very end, it’s revealed that she’s Kyouko Tachibana - Akira’s ex-wife. Turns out they work for companies that are close business partners and now she’s visiting his company to work on a project with him. Despite this, there’s no “love rival” drama in this volume, thank goodness. Despite having spotted her during the vacation, Akira is completely focused on Aya.
We still don’t know who the mysterious Izumi is, but at least we now know he wasn’t dreaming of his ex-wife that one night. Once this was confirmed, my suspicions immediately turned to .
The couple goes on a vacation! He arranges a sweet get away for his gf and they spend some time kissing and such and also going out on walks and watching fireworks, it was so romantic. She let him know age doesn't matter to her and that she finds him hot in every way and it makes HIM blush, that was adorable. I can see some drama coming in with the ex showing up though. Hope it doesn't get too dramatic and novela-like lol
A trip to the hot springs ups the steamy level between these two. I really enjoyed them taking a vacation to grow closer and get to know. This volume did take a turn starting with an arc involving his ex wife. I am truly interested in where it is going to go. I am glad that I kept going with this series. I wasn't sure after the first volume, but I have enjoyed it so much.
Kinda sad the rest of the series is not on Kindle Unlimited. I can’t afford to buy them outright currently, but the series has kept my interest enough that if the rest do go onto KU I will probably read them.
I love love love this series of book so so much but that cliff hanger Mind blowing it just sucks that I can't read the last 3 books beaucus their not on Kindle unlimited
There has been no growth in characters since the first few books, it's extremely repetive. I just keep hoping for more for more with tye characters instead of the gratuitous repetitive scenes, I like smut but need plot
The exwife has entered. I don't think it will really be anything. Our MCs seem to really like each other so it feels very low stakes. Otherwise we got some cuteness with the trip. And more kitten stuff...
And that's the last of the free ones on kindle unlimited so I'm done with the series for now. There's really not much to this story. It's fine for a quick read.
I just wish they didn’t have the embarrassed charade every fucking volume. Like at what point does that shit stop?!? If you are that immature you shouldn’t be having sex 😩
