Don Prichard is a Viet Nam veteran who served in the Marine Corps Reserves for thirty-two years before retiring as a colonel. He is also a career architect, whose specialty in government work includes the design of prisons, courthouses, and military facilities. Stephanie is an army brat who lived in many countries around the world and loved it. She met her husband at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she majored in English/Literature. She and Don have lived in Indianapolis, IN, for forty years, and in retirement have turned to co-authoring novels.
The masterful husband and wife writing team of Don and Stephanie Prichard have created a superb conclusion to this series. Like "Stranded" and "Forgotten", "Targeted" strongly pulls a variety of emotional responses from the reader. This first-rate Suspense holds the reader captive from cover to cover. It also warms the heart with the underlying theme of the Family of God being the model for human relationships. It is a story of redemption and restoration when love is unconditional.
This set of 3 books was the best I have ever read. It had great detail when needed, tragedy, love, adventure, history, danger, mystery and compassion! I don't know if I'll ever find books like this with so much diversity. One other blessing, it is clean reading. I totally recommend this Stranded trilogy.
I just completed this awesome trilogy! From the 1st page of Stranded through the last page of Targeted, I have been on the most amazing non stop literary roller coaster ride! These books captured my attention and kept me mesmerized from start to finish! I am an avid reader and this trilogy ranks as my favorite!
Enjoyed reading how the survivors from the shipwreck went on with there lives and over came struggles with God's help.will recommend to others who like clean Christian adventure.
So many bad things happened that I was beginning to think there wasn't going to be a happy ending. The spiritual growth of the main characters was worth the bad things. It did keep you in suspense.
These books by Stephanie and Don Prichard are WONDERFUL READS!! My only “complaint” is that I can’t put them down once I start reading! THANK YOU, Stephanie and Don! Can’t wait for your next book!!! PLEASE let me know AS SOON AS it’s done and available!!
This third book in this Stranded series picks up where Forgotten left off and dumps Jake Chalmers and Eve Eriksson right back into trouble! From page one, you’re captivated by their story, and won’t be able to put the book down--won't be able to catch your breath--until the end.
But this is so much more than a fast-paced suspense/thriller; there are life-lessons to be learned, along with a subtle yet important faith message. You don’t want to miss this story! And personally, I hope we’re not done following Jake and Eve!
