I love to write about fantastic worlds where young characters choose to place a high value on courage, loyalty, freedom, and faith.

I read the first three books again because when I started this book I felt a little lost - it had been awhile. I hope that book 5 comes out before my 60 year old brain loses these four books and their flow. LOL! I read 20-30 books a month, so remembering one series is difficult, but I love this series. It's different from anything else I've read. The characters don't feel like teenagers and I have to keep reminding myself just how young they are. There are so many different "worlds" in this story. Underwater, ice, forest, etc... Can't wait to see where we go in the next story.

In this story the "Tarn", the bad guys with lots of power, are closing in on Nani, Kai, and their trusted. So far three of her friends have absorbed the power of a pillar and Marc is the trusted who is chosen to absorb the emptiness, and with the help of Alexi he is able to overcome its effects (but you have to read the story to figure out what that really means).

I love these stories, lots of action and dialogue without a lot of cogitation and descriptions. You just get it from the story line and know just where you are and who you are with. I love how Anna Travis is able to make me feel the cold and ice in this story without having to spend paragraphs to get me there. Can't wait for book five!

This is a clean read.

More of the puzzle comes together

I am officially addicted to this series! This book I devoured in a single day. There were fewer typos, but still a few awkward spots.

In this book, Nani, Tai, Kalin and the six Trusted not only face death in an arctic land en route to restoring another pillar, but they declare war against the Tarn and decree the end of a despicable practice of hunting people. They discover the wonders of the castle Nani reopened, gain still more allies and intelligence, and make some important decisions for the good of Milano. As with her other books, the author builds the plot to a compelling crescendo and then leaves you hankering for your next fix!

I have a feeling this is going to cost me a hefty price before the series plays out to its conclusion. Don’t start, unless you’re prepared to wait for the next installment!

Love this book!

As the book progresses we get to know the characters better and see more of their interactions. The way Chan and Li relate reminds me of a brother and sister. In other characters we see the first hints of romance. We see their strengths and their weaknesses, their triumphs and their struggles. (Like Elsi!) Sometimes they make me laugh, and sometimes I want to shout "Noooooo!!!".
The story is amazing! I can't seem to put it down. (I finished it in one afternoon), but I don't want it to end! Can't wait for the next one!

Continue the spread of truth

Anna Travis delivers yet another engaging tale. The B'nli try to find and seal the remaining pillars. Nani and Tai are joined together as the leaders but others are weary to let such young people make massive decisions. They have to trust in the ONE and the ONE who sacrificed for them. They won't spread the truth with out much difficulty but they are determined.

Next book please! 💕

Hard to put down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. The visuals this author uses really brought me into the story. The characters were broadened even more in this book and I look forward to seeing who the next pillar will go in to.
