I went from soaring in planes to soaring right into huge responsibilities. With the death of my mother, Queen Omera, my time had come. Ready or not, I had to face the wind with my feathers at my back and my Griffin beak held high. With my sister Althea in the thick of it, and my two other sisters off searching for the three mates that would bind their magic forever, I was clueless as where to even start. Waiting for a sign began to feel pointless...until an ill-fated fall from my weekly bungie adventures brought more than just exhilaration. My mind was focused on the danger ahead, those Dark Shifters threatening the very existence of our species, but magic and fate hid gifts around each corner. Alo, Frodi, and Arsenio weren't expected but they became my mind, body, and soul. But just because I've got my new family at my back, doesn't mean I'll win the fiery battle ahead. From beyond the grave evil stirs and its sights are set on the stone that calls to me in my dreams. As I climb the icy slopes to freedom for all, I can't help but wonder if I'll take them all with me into the frigid grounds below. Fate plays no part in the battle for the Shifters.
This is a fast burn standalone reverse harem shifter romance. Readers 18+.
Mayhem reigns, deadly motives are at play, violence and death. Where the women are sexy, dangerous and part of the family to bring the clans together. A world where someone wants them dead and their mates are there to love protect ad fight by their sides. But they each face their own truth or lies, where you don’t know who you can trust.
I have never heard about this series prior to reading this book, but I'm definitely intrigued by this story, and look forward to reading the rest of the series. I'm a huge fan of RH romance, and I love shifter romances, so to see them both in this story is a pleasure. I love the premise of this series, 4 sisters each with a unique ability, tasked with finding their three mates to unite all the shifter community is interesting. The story of Iris, Alo, Arsenio, and Frodi uniting to locate a stone to bring about the resurgence of Griffins was fun to read, and I am really excited to read the entire series.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

With the death of Queen Omera, Iris, the High Alpha Griffin, and her sisters had to search for the three mates that would bind their magic forever. Each man was chosen by the Ancestors for their specific abilities to help them with the things they struggled with the most. Each of the men would stabilize them and help them to grow in their powers, as well as provide protection for them in dark times. The sisters need to enter their High Alpha roles and find their mates.
This is Iris’ story of how she meets her mates in her quest to locate a stone hidden by her great-grandfather, which will bring about the resurgence of the Griffins. Finding her mates, Alo, Frodi, and Arsenio, had not been expected, but they became part of Iris’ mind, body, and soul. To her surprise, she finds that Hellforth, an evil bat shifter that her great-grandfather had defeated and was assumed dead, is still alive! Can she defeat this old enemy? Can she achieve what she was meant to do?
Join Iris and her mates on their exciting and dangerous journey! The story line is fast-paced, and the characters are strong and likable. Follow along as the sisters pursue their destinies and find the mates who complete them!
Book 2 in this new ONR series sees us thrust into the world of Iris, the second sister and daughter of Omera. She has a destiny and along the way she meets her 3 bonded mates, Alo, an owl shifter, Frodi, a Raven shifter and Arsenio, a Lamassu shifter. Between the four of them they have to find the magical stone that will help align all of the shifters together. An evil long since dead has been resurrected by a sorcerer intent on black magic. A great read that was on the go from the beginning with loads of action and suspense. With two sister down and two more to go I am hoping there will be a final book for the fight they need to do. A great read.
Althea’s sister, Iris is a Griffon and is tasked with the next part of the puzzle. She needs to find her three mates and the stone of the Griffon’s that has been buried since her great-great grandfather’s time is calling out for her. She is a High Alpha and another of Omera’s daughters. Her three mate shifters are an owl, raven and Lumassa. Her powers will grow after she finds the three of them and the stone will help her harness them. She is looking for an old enemy thought long dead. She knows she will have to battle him for the stone. Can she and her mates defeat him? Will they fulfill their destiny? Will they be around to help her other sisters and their mates fulfill a prophecy? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
This is definitely a unique Reverse Harem. It's a fast burn which is rare for the genre, but I'm not complaining. I like the fast burn a long as they keep up with the pace, which this one sadly didn't quite do. There was a lot of sexual tension between the four of them, but it wasn't noticeable and wasn't acted upon as often as it could have been. I rate it four stars because the plot line is something I've never before read in a reverse harem and it kept my attention from beginning to end. That's something that any book should do. It would've been five if it was more detail oriented. The authors have done a really great job with this book. So, I recommend reading this if you're up for an action packed and romance filled adventure.
This is Iris's story. She is Althea's sister. Althea is is Book 1 of this series. So Iris is a Griffin and she sees her mother Omera who has passed in her dreams and also in visions. Iris is a High Alpha of a Royal Line. Her mother told her she need to find is stone that was buried in the mountain by her great great grandfather. So she heads off to the Griffin Clan and she meets her mates and other surprises. Professor Frodi is a history buff and raven shifter, next is Alo who is an owl shifter and Arsenio who is a Lamassu shifter (Lion with Wings). They need to hunt down the bat alpha who is trying to steal the stone for his dark magic.
This is a great book. I loved it. I enjoyed the prequel and the first one. This is the second installment and I thoroughly enjoyed Iris' personal story. I really liked her mates and their back stories. There's not to much information in this story. There's just enough to see where everyone came from and a few details about t their shifter characteristics. The reason I gave 4stars is the amount of editing errors. I don't mind if there's a few, I know they can't be completely avoided. There were several though. Not a massive amount but enough to irritate me.
This addition to the series is a good read about a young woman born a royal Griffin destined to to find her three mates and recover a stone that will help her control her formidable powers. But Iris learns an old foe has returned from the dead with help from a dark sorcerer and plans to claim the stone for himself. While this is an entertaining standalone read, it never quite pulled me in.
She found her mates under unexpected circumstances. Because of that, her powers grew. I was on the edge of my seat during her battle with the Bat Alpha. With the help of her mates she overcome her nemesis and (spoiler alert) found who her father was. As she repaired the Griffin stronghold she found her HEA. I enjoyed the second book in this series and can't wait to read the other 2.
This is the second in the series of four sisters with a heavy burden. Each can stand alone but are a continuation of the primary story. iris, a Griffin shifter is the High Alpha of the sky shifters. She joins with her mates, a black bird, an owl, and a massaum (a flying lion) to defeat an ancient evil. Enjoy the read.
You'll hit the ground running with Iris as her mates joined her one by one on her journey to protect Shifters. Being a Griffin puts her in harm's way but Iris is no damsel. Adventure, battles, love and romance...so much to enjoy...and discover what's next, you'll really want to!!!!
Another good book in this series. I had a hard time putting it down. I am really enjoying this series. Iris was pretty tough and brave. I loved her magic and the way she protected her mates. Looking forward to the next book!
Her Sky Mates (Shifters Of The Elements) by Meg Ripley & Lark Sterling. Iris, Griffin Shifter and High Alpha must find her three mates Alo, Frodi and Arsenio and find the stone before the dark shifters do.
Not my favorite book. I actually had problems staying with the story. Not sure why? Just wasn't easy for me to read. It happens. Could just be the timing. Took me a long time to complete the story.
More dangerous scenarios and new shifters are found inside this story. New and intriguing powers are developed. Definitely heading on to the next book!
I truly enjoyed the book. The theme involves finding true love and realising you are strong enough for the destiny assigned to you beautifully presented by a talented author. A very good read.
I love this saga! Another fantastic addition to this series, this is Iris's story, the second of the four sisters. She is given a misson recover a stone hidden by her great grandfather, along the way she finds her mates. There is a lot of action with the Griffon sanctuary being attacked defeating, evil Bat Hellforth and the wizard's magic. This is a fast paced read filled with entertainment lots of passion, romance, love, adventure, plus mystery and intrigue thrown in. A sure winner!
I absolutely LOVED this book. I will not give the synopsis since you can read the blurb and others give more detail but I definitely recommend! The chemistry, sexiness, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things very interesting.
I cannot wait to read more by this author. Definitely worth your time!
