I'm just going to say right now before I read this, I am going to be massively disappointed if there is no reference to "Last Christmas I gave you my heart".
Massively.
I will also be disappointed if that doesn't come from the vampire in question from the blurb.
Spoiler alert, it didn't happen :( There were a lot of references to Dracula though which is neat. Not my kind of book usually, thought this was a romance when I spotted it on amazon. I ended up skimming to the end just to see how it finished, and it finished pretty much the way I expected it to. if you're a fan of horror, and like Brahm Stoker maybe try this one.
An easy predictable read. There is very little character development and not a lot of mystery to be unraveled. Considering it was placed in romantic genre, there is zero romance anywhere in the book. It was an interesting choice but I will be steering clear of any similar reads for a while.
This book was... weird. Maddy get a vampire's heart transplanted, and he wants it back. I wish I had started reading without knowing this (it's in the description of the book, so it's not a spoiler).
I really liked this Amy Cross book. It was interesting and constantly changing and I think she's gotten me hooked on Vampire books now. I was sorry to finish this book, it was that good.
I really wanted to like this more. I can't even explain what it was that threw me off the book, but it seemed to drag a little for me. Maybe I was hoping for a love story lol.
Vampires. Different to ghosts. Love vampire stories just as much as ghostly ones. I pretty much read this in one sitting , starting a few chapters the night before. Good read.
