The couple: Jameson and Jemma

Romance genre: romantic suspense
Series: The Men of Whiskey Mountain
Length: 107 pages

Plot: Jameson is a pilot, despite the fact that he comes from money. In fact, he sometimes does runs for people who aren't quite on the up-and-up. Jemma is the sister of the h from the first book in the series, and everyone thought she was dead. She's had some trouble in her past, but Jameson isn't doing much better.

Commentary: I actually really like this author writing romantic suspense-type books. I've enjoyed this series. It has more substance than a lot of her other shorter books, and she told a fuller, more interesting story. I'd read more like this!

Book 2 in the Men of Whiskey Mountain series and can be read as a standalone. Loved Jemma and Jameson. Their chemistry and attraction were so instant, hot and very intense. This story had everything – romance, mystery, action and drama. Loved this story and can’t wait to read the next in the series. I need to know what happened to Julia.

I enjoyed Walker and Wavy's book. Jameson and Jemma's was so good. Plane crashes, bad guys, bullets flying but you get HEA! I can hardly wait to see if Beam gets his HEA. What ever happened to Julia? I will be patiently waiting for the next book!

This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Jameson lives on Whisky Mountain and doesn’t have any need for his family’s money. He goes to check on a neighbor’s cabin while they are away and finds Jemma there. Jemma is in trouble and needs protection and the attraction between she and Jameson is on fire. Can Jameson keep her safe? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama, steam and emotion. The characters have lots of depth and the story really draws you in. A good read.

JAMESON is the second book of The Men of Whiskey Mountain series by Frankie Love and is the story of Jameson and Jemma. Jameson is a man who comes from a wealthy family but has chosen to live on Whiskey Mountain and support himself in an illegal manner. He is "neighbors" and friends with Walker and his now wife Waverly, from the first book in the series WALKER. When Waverly goes into labor Jameson goes to their cabin to make sure that everything is secure during a storm. What he finds instead are lights on inside, the door open, a trail of women's clothes and a woman in the shower. Let's just say that he is more than surprised, but also by the fact that she is a beautiful. it turns out the woman is Jemma, who is Waverly's sister was she thought was dead. SURPRISE!!! As Jameson does not trust Jemma to stay at the cabin by herself he takes her back to his place, which may be a mistake but maybe it will be the best mistake of his life. Jemma has had a hard life and has sought out Waverly as a place to stay safe and regroup. The pull these two have towards each other is immediate and powerful. But Jameson will have to make some changes if he wants to be in her life long term, which he does. But that decision brings danger to his door and puts Jemma in more danger than he ever thought possible.

This is a fast-paced, action packed, drama filled, romantic and hot sizzling sexy novella. It was an interesting story that kept me waiting anxiously for the next twist in it. The characters are well developed and played well off each other.

Jameson lives at the base of Whiskey Mountain he’s going to check on his best friends Walker’s and Wavey’s cabin while they are in the city having their babies and when he gets there Jameson notices a light on no one is supposed to be there the door is unlocked, he goes inside and finds a woman’s clothes thrown all over the place she’s having a shower so he opens the door and he see’s her naked in the shower he says who the hell are you and she shrieks then she says who are you but then she just gets on with the shower and Jameson can’t help himself he watch’s her for a bit then leaves. Once the woman comes out Jameson has a coffee and a bit of food for her he tells her about himself now he says that it’s your turn she says that her name is Jenna and she says that if you knew about me you will get the wrong impression and it hasn’t gone well so far. When Jenna tells him he is looking at her differently but it’s not in the way she thinks. Thats all I’m going to give you guys this is a short story and I don’t want to ruin it for you, it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I liked this story. The characters were interesting. The way each of them was broken in a way was both sad and incredible. They come together and you think, there's no way this is going to work with everything they each have been through and then...it does. Until it doesn't.

Jameson lives on Whiskey Mountain and has done so for years. His family has money, but he refuses to live off them. Instead, he makes money by flying and delivering illegal cargo. Jameson meets Jemma unexpectedly and he knows that his world has changed. Jemma needs a man that she can trust to protect her. She needs a good man.

This story was entertaining and I liked Jemma and Jameson. I liked that they were both broken and trying to rebuild together. There were things that frustrated me and they still frustrate me because I didn't feel they were resolved. I did like the way their story "ended" but I wish there was an epilogue further down the line. I do recommend reading this book.

Jameson is living on Whiskey Mountain neighbors to Walker & Waverly ( book 1). He's working for a drug Lord using his plane to make deliveries since they are on Alaska. Waverly has a sister that she thought was dead from something th a happened in their past. After Waverly goes into labor, Jameson goes to their ous!e to make sure it's all locked up & safe. While there he sees someone is in the house. Who could it be? Well Jameson finds out its Jemma Waverly sister. Jemma has had a rough life so far from what Waverly told Jameson. He wants to make her life easier. He does just that. He takes her under his wing to love & protect. His past is about to show it's ugly head & put people in danger. Jameson has to protect Jemma. at all cost. I can't wait for book 3 to see how this is all gonna turn out. Excellent series so far.

Jemma is alive! This story is about Jemma and Jameson. Jameson is a mountain man with his own agenda. He and his folk do not talk much as he has distance himself from them after his brother passed. Jameson lives near by Walker and Waverly, so the story starts off with him visiting their home to make sure it is locked down as Walker and Waverly are in town delivering their twins. A surprised is found at the house, which is Jemma, Waverly’s dead sister, at least she thinks she is dead. Well the story immediately takes off from there as he catches her in the shower. The story has action and your romantic side, but when Walker chooses to live a different life for her, she is snatched away from him. This is an awesome story, but what is happening with Julia – I hope she is not dead too, as she needs her happiness too.

Can Jameson protect Jemma when danger comes knocking on his door? Can Jameson and Jemma find their happily ever after? I enjoyed Jameson by Frankie Love. Jameson is a great insta love with suspense, drama, passion, and love. I would definitely recommend getting Jameson and the other book in The Men of Whiskey Mountain series.

The story hooked me in the first chapter. I loved the dialogue between Jameson and Jemma. Jameson is the mountain man living in the Alaska woods. He has chosen to be isolated from his family. Although there is another couple down the way. He is going to check out their cabin and he runs into Jemma. Jemma is feisty, sassy, but in need of help. Jameson is instantly attracted to Jemma. Jemma doesn’t believe she is good enough for Jameson but she is also attracted to him. She needs someone to believe in her. She has had a difficult life. It is truly a story with emotional ups and downs.. It has drama, suspense, passion, family turmoil, tenderness and love. The story really works and it will tug at your heart and you hope they get all the things they want.

This is the second book in this series and there are quite few ties to the first book but it is a total stand alone and can be read separately but why would you want to Do yourself a favour and grab Walker as well

Jameson is caring for the home of Walker and Waverley while they are away and with a severs storm forecast he decides he better make sure the place is locked up tight to withstand it He is stunned when he arrives to find lights on and someone in the shower That someone is Jemma Waverley's sister she isn't dead like everyone thought. He decides the best thing to keep her safe is to take her to his home during the storm What he didn't expect is that he would fall in love with her. But can he keep her safe when is past with a local militia group blows up You will have to read to see

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in The Men of Whiskey Mountain series. In this book, Jameson is living on Whiskey Mountain and agrees to watch his friend's house while they are away having their babies. jameson goes to the house and finds a woman there. Jemma is Waverly's sister and everyone thought she was dead. Jemma doesn't know where her sister is, but Jameson tells her about the babies. Jemma explains why she was presumed dead and agrees to go back to Jameson's cabin to wait out the storm. Jameson and Jemma grow closer while together but soon danger comes looking for Jemma and Jameson could be caught in the crossfire. This was a fast paced, action filled read with a lot of heat. I loved Jameson, he was a good guy and very protective of Jemma. This was another great one

I enjoyed this book, but I had to be in the right frame of mind to read it. Frankie Love is the queen of fast, fun, sexy, and witty books. This is a little different. It's still the insta-love, OTT alpha, feisty heroine that we all love from her, but darker. Her characters have been through some twisted things, coming out the other side stronger. It took me a little longer to get into these stories, but it was well worth the effort. The plots are complex, if a little dark. I love how these books are connected but still can be read as stand alones. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I enjoyed this instalove romance, it is the second book in The Men of Whiskey Mountain, I do suggest reading Walker first.
Jameson goes to check his neighbor, Walker, house during a storm while they are away and meets an unexpected houseguest there who captures is attention. Jemma can't believe a big sexy stranger walks in while she's showering in her sisters home. Jemma brings out the protective instincts in this mountain but can he protect her when his past puts her in danger.
This is a quick and easy read, delightful way to pass time.

Well... this story is for sure a Mountain Man Delicious... Fast, not long - but then not the shortest either, heroine who has overcome a lot of stuff - but it is only insinuated what it is, there might be a good possibility to lengthen the story to tell a bit more about her backstory? But non the less, this story is just an absolute DISH!!! And it so deserves the four stars I am giving it here. I felt it needed a bit more meat on the bones to get to the five... But four stars, well done to the author.

This is the first book I have read from this series and I've come to realise that I should have read book one first. Characters appeared who I didn't know and felt like I should have, I also felt that I was missing out of understanding what had actually happened to Jemma and Wavvy.

Jameson and Jemma as characters at times worked for me and at other times not so much. I didn't quite believe their instant connection but I did like the differences they made to each other. Some of the drama worked for me and some not so much, it was a bit of a mixed read for me.

Very well written - couldn't be better

Anyone who ever read one of the books from Frankie Love already knows there is always tons of sexiness, hotness, steamy and dirty moments between alpha hero and his heroine. So if you love this kind of stories that's the one for you but before you get this one it will be better if you grab first book of men from Whiskey Mountain. You would get on board with characters and the story better equipped.
I loved how Jameson took matters in his own hands and got what he wanted. And in what manner he did that. Real reclusive mountain man style. This story just couldn't be better.

Another Whiskey man falls.again! Jameson is lonely up on Whiskey Mountain,his best friend got hitched and expecting twins. One night while.checking his friend s cabin, he find a woman who turns out to be Wavy his wife a friend sister. Their attraction is intense, scorching hot and immediate! After one night of passion he can t let her go and she is ready to see a brighter future. Her past is riddled with bad things and the best is yet to come. A wonderful fast paced steamy story.

Frankie Love is one of my favorite authors (of any genre), and this book just reinforces that feeling.

This story is really well written, has characters that are created with tantalizing depth and captivating story line.

It had me laughing and crying and really, really hot and bothered. I could not be happier with their HEA and how everything played out.

Do yourself a favor and get this one. It is worth every penny.

Book two in the Men of Whiskey Mountain series by Frankie Love is here and ooof, readers, this one is for a night in with your fella for sure.

Jemma and Jameson are just what each other need, weather they want to admit it or not, both are running from pasts they can’t get beyond. Both use Whiskey Mountain as a haven from the outside world. The chemistry, heat and attraction between these two is off the charts and so enjoyable to read. The last thought I had when I finished was Julia, what happens to her?

Frankie did a great job with this! Jameson and Jemma were fantastic! These two were both broken in their own ways but with each other they were able to be whole again. I loved the drama and the suspense in this book. Jemma is sassy and Jameson is alpha AF and you will love both! I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to see what happens with Beam!

What a surprise! We have some action and suspense and I was a little on edge but we also get what you would expect from a Frankie Love book; the insta-love romance with the sweet and dirty-talking alpha. I loved seeing Jameson and Jemma’s relationship blossom and both decide to move forward together. I’m also left wondering what will happen in the next book.

This is not your typical Frankie Love light hearted love story. Don’t get me wrong there is still the instant connection but, just a bit darker. This has more to do with past decisions and how they catch up with you. Like that both of these characters try to help each other and only want someone to love and call their own.

As much as I loved Walker, Jameson stole my heart! Jameson is just a love right from the beginning, he is just perfection. Jemma, for all her sharp edges, she is bruised right down to her soul. They both have baggage but the attraction is deep and intense. These two deserve to have someone who will be there for them no matter what and that is exactly what they found. Emotional and absorbing, I was hooked. I do hope this isn't the last that we will see of Whiskey Mountain.

Frankie Love just has a way with those mountain man romances. Jameson is so dreamy. A hot, burly bearded, straight shooter with a bit of a past, when Jemma meets him, she doesn't stand a chance. With a past of her own, the two work together to embrace the future. There's so much passion and fire between these two it practically melts off the page. It was well written, romantic, and so very sexy. Jameson was a real treat!

A fantastic book two in the Men of Whiskey Mountain series! It is well written, well developed, engaging, and consistent. There are twists and turns, intrigue, and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!
