Kevin Swanson is a husband, father, pastor, radio-host, and national speaker. Kevin is the pastor of Reformation Church in Elizabeth, Colorado (ReformationChurch.com).

THIS BOOK IS SOOOO GOOD!
It tackles history from a Biblical Worldview, and it doesn't shy away from tough topics. It not only gave a wonderful overview of American history, but also a great overview of America's Worldview and what's wrong with it. It really made me think. I love how it showed a problem and then addressed it - shared what the Bible said and included verses.
Highly recommend this book for anyone who is tired of all the history books that portray everything in a positive light. This is the real story.

Great Christian textbook for Homeschoolers wanting to learn all of America's history. The author does focus a lot on the decline of Christianity in America, to the point that it almost gets a little depressing to read. I think the author should've tried to display a more upbeat, positive attitude, especially because this is aimed towards Homeschoolers. Overall though, great textbook. Highly recommend!

This book is written from a christian perspective. I found it interesting, and I did appreciate the information about the religious background of some people in history as well as the inclusion of some religious leaders throughout American History. However, the author often gives the reason for events as being America has left God, which may be true, but I feel he should also include some of the other actual events that led to the situations. I might use this book as a supplement to other US History materials. I learned a lot about US History while reading it, but for balance other books should also be used with it, in my opinion.
