I want to start this review with a - DNF - though I wanted to, I just got to busy to finish, and then the season was over, and it felt off. I do hope to check it out again as the holidays roll around this year and finish it completely. This collection of very personal and sometimes profound stories reminds me of a Christmas version of Readers Digest. Writers re-live a momentous event from a Christmas past that stuck with them and share it with us. Some of the stories are sad, some funny - a mash-up of life that is lovely & enjoyable around the holidays.

I loved this book of heartwarming holiday stories. They do tug at your heart strings. The book is split into two sections. Each section is wonderful, and all the stories are short. It can be read in a day or two. I found myself not being able to put it down. I recommend this read for everyone. Some of the stories can be read aloud to children.
