Vicky vs Blackthorn
what do you do, when the monster is human?
Bree, her once friend, is now the "mother of demons," and is making an army of spriggans to curb the human plague and bring us back to nature. Vicky is torn, on one hand bree is killing people, on the other hand so is asthma. Bree needs to be stopped but she'd rather get her committed than put her down with a gun.
and this time here guardian won't help.
The voice in her head and the strength in her arms is revealed as a real to life warrior angel and while it will gladly help dispatch a Spriggan, she has strict rules regarding free will and hurting humans. Even crazy ones.

Paranormal urban fiction story with monsters, angels, powerful mysterious benefactors, and plenty of fight scenes. It definitely moves into macabre and horror with a few bloody, gory scenes. Not gratuitously done though - it all serves a purpose in the story. Just as nightmarish as the first two books but in a totally different way. Great addition to the series.
Bree was a busy girl while Vicky was off fighting the mermaid - and she has a score to settle. Vicky and Carl find quite the surprise in their flat when they return to England, and that is just the beginning of this non-stop adrenaline and caffeine fueled ride. Bree is both a terrifying monster, and a sad, lonely little girl who just wants a sister and to save the world. Vicky is trying to save her - without killing her. Meanwhile Vicky and Carl learn perhaps more than they wanted to about their new deep pocketed employers and Vicky gets a truly intimate introduction to her protector.
This is book 3 is what looks like a planned series of 8 books. It works as a standalone, but I think is better read after the first two books which introduce Bree and Vicky's protector.

Still very interesting, fast paced and kept me reading to the end! I'm only sad cause the next one isnt ready yet!

So cool.
This episode of the series is really exciting. Old friends and enemies are revisited and things get dangerous. Good thing Vicky can handle it.
