Trust me…the title makes sense…eventually.

I’m sitting back reading CowSex and hubby walks in.

Me: Hubby, how am I going to talk people into reading this book when it’s called CowSex?
Hubby: Is it about his good mooooves?
Me: Ha bloody Ha…
Hubby: Is it uderly sexy?
Me: Oh Geez, STOP. I haven’t even worked out why it’s called CowSex yet?
Hubby: Maybe, he’s all animal in bed?
Me: STOP…PLEASE…STOP!!

Well, I’ve finished and now I know that there is a VERY good reason why this book is called CowSex, and it CRACKED ME UP!! I don’t know about you but I had some very…ummm…weird…ahhh…kinky…thoughts running through my head trying to work out the reason for the title. TRUST ME, YOU’LL LOVE IT!! Have no fear, I would not lead you up the garden path, the title is fine, legit and OK. No animals were hurt or “used” in the making of this story. 😉

So, we’ve established that the title is more than you think, now it’s time to get to the nitty-gritty. I nearly gave up at 50%. My eye was twitching, and the reviewer in me was STRUGGLING. Do I put ALL my romance reading rules on the shelf and push through? Well, fellow members of the jury, I can say that no rules (well, my rules) were broken and I finished this story with the BIGGEST…GOOFIEST…CHEESIEST…grin on my face.

THIS BOOK WAS BLOODY AWESOME!!

Ok, it was nearly perfect. I did have a couple of times that I shaked and shuddered, moaned and groaned and squinted my eyes a little. I’m not sure the author knows this, but this book had a remarkable resemblance (definitely not the same) to The Gamble by the LEGEND Kristen Ashley. Now, before you all get judgy, it’s definitely different. For starters, this chick is definitely no Nina and the bloke is definitely not Max. It just had tones of The Gamble, that automatically made me think of it.

I laughed, Oh how I laughed in this book. Another conversation with hubby…

Me: You know how I was cracking up before, do you want to hear why?
Hubby: Your idea of funny and mine when it comes to your books are worlds apart.
Me: No, this time it’s REALLY funny.
Hubby: Sure…
Me: So…. (I’m not going to tell you, you have to read it)
Hubby: (at the end of telling him) Silly (with a big grin on his face)
Me: Silly, but funny too?
Hubby: Yeah, yeah…

Now, there were a couple of times that had me crossing my arms and shaking my head at the hero. I was doing the whole…YOU WANT ME TO LOVE THIS DOUCHEWAFFLE? Well, I can confirm, that if you stick with it, this story will give you a HERO!! You know, those guys we read romance for. He says the right thing, does the right thing and acts the right way. I LOVED FRANGGY…I mean Koa. It was not hard at all to be picturing Franggy as the hero…not hard at all.

What a journey. I absolutely loved the highs and lows. This was my first story by Lesley Jones and it will definitely not be my last. I laughed, cried, squirmed and sighed. Exactly what I’m looking for in my romance reads. Accept the title…and enjoy the ride.

CowSex
By: Lesley Jones
5 Stars

While Lesley Jones has made a name for herself with the Carnage series, CowSex proves that she can rip our hearts out in a book and she can also write a Rom-Com that is full of laugh out loud moments yet still tells a fantastic story!!!

Gracie Elliott has arrived in Colorado on holiday for 6 months. She made quite an entrance to say! Having just survived a long flight from London, in which she drowned her sorrows with excessive amount of wine. Shed some tears and chatted with a total stranger about how her life has changed.

Koa Carmichael is the local celebrity, if you call it that. Celebrity in everyone gossips about him. Born and raised in this little town, everyone knows everyone’s business. Football superstar, Country rock star yet there is something he hasn’t gotten right yet…

When these 2 meet, the banter and nonstop conversations are priceless! The twist on a guy that’s a Cowboy and a gal from Essex had tears running down my face from laughing!!! Not to mention meeting “Vance”. I really loved how Gracie held nothing back and said what she was thinking with zero filter. Then there is Koa who I will admit I was ready to head to Aspen just to shack up in his other home!!!

If you are looking for a great standalone Rom-Com, I highly recommend this one!!!

Gracie Elliot, 32, is bound and determined to take her Colorado vacation with her long-time live-in boyfriend or not. So when he bails, she goes alone. Only turns out she’s not hauled up in the snowy retreat by herself.

My expectations on this were way off what the story actually delivers. The blurb suggests a stranded together sexy, romantic comedy. Instead what I discovered is a tale about two people—one crazy and desperate, one with a lot of baggage, who find a reprieve from temporary loneliness and a way to scratch nothing more than an itch in a fling that realistically would go nowhere.

“Laugh-out-loud moments?” I didn’t read any. Culture clash is a big theme, but it came across forced. The ongoing conversations where Gracie rolls off with British terms he’s unfamiliar with and he acts puzzled felt contrived and grew old fast. It’s as if the author simply made a list of British vernacular and wrote the dialogue around it. (And Americans do know that hot tubs are also called spas and jacuzzis.) None of this was “flirty banter,” and I didn’t feel any “chemistry” between them.

I found Gracie simply obnoxious. Stubborn and entitled would be good descriptors too. The situation when she arrives was obvious long before it sunk in to her, and then she continues to treat Koa like crap even though it’s his own house. Only five chapters in and I was already starting to understand why her ex-boyfriend didn’t want to spend any time with her. And since it’s established that Koa has bad taste in women, his attraction to her wasn’t exactly a measure of her greatness. Not to mention, talking about your vibrator and toilet wipes to an almost stranger does not make for sizzling chemistry, and drugstore flowers and candy as an afterthought during a condom purchase does not make for romance. That leads me to the problems with Koa Carmichael, 38, as a romantic hero…

I wasn’t sold on them finding each other. If anything, they find exactly what they don't need. See Gracie, who runs a business out of England, wants a devoted man to settle down with and have kids. It’s why she broke up with her boyfriend. Koa has already been married twice and is the father of two kids. His backstory is angsty and lends itself to immature drama in the present. Koa also has an on-again/off-again fuck buddy he’s known since high school who would like to make something more of their arrangement. I felt bad for her because Koa was already getting intimate with Gracie when she calls. And at that point, I was done for with Koa as a book boyfriend. There was nothing to convince me he had any deep interest in Gracie other than as a sex partner and I certainly didn’t understand why she fell in insta-love with him all of a sudden. All I sensed was two people who confused the urge for sex with something more. I also suspected that Koa too had a drinking problem. Even more mind boggling was Gracie’s claim to “how perfect it all is” only a chapter after Koa all but forces her to not use protection, and they argue about it.

Told via Gracie and Koa’s alternating first person POV, I couldn’t stand either of them! For thirty-something people they both behaved immaturely and would have been better off getting their lives together separately. Honestly after the snow storm passed, there was no compelling reason for them to even be “thrown together” anymore. Be aware this is not a steamy stranded together erotic romance. A lot of the sex scenes are either fade to black or simply referred to and don’t occur till 70%.

A final aspect that lowered my rating—the presentation of women in this tale was quite bothersome. Gracie’s a hot mess and all of the other women Koa has been with are presented as conniving, manipulative, gold digging, cheating, alcoholic, and/or easy. Most were a combination. Gracie, while supposedly standing up for herself, resorts to their same level of trash talk and name calling. Words like cunt, prostitute, whore, bitch, and more are thrown around on multiple occasions. That’s not how intelligent, mature women, and certainly not ones with or around children, behave or communicate. It added a very crass tone to the story that was a huge turn-off. I closed the last page with a headache.

I wasn't sure what to expect of this book, with having such a different title, but it's Lesley Jones and I Loved her Carnage series( I loved that Carnage had a little mention in this book) so I didn't read the blurb and went in blind! Don't be fooled by the title, no actual cows are involved in this novel! Haha!

This is just what I needed! A proper feel good, laugh out loud romance! I bloody love Gracie Elliot! She's a proper spit fire, who says things as she sees them! As soon as she's in Colorado the Americans look at her like she's talking a foreign language by speaking Essex slang! I laughed so much throughout this book, especially at the mistranslations! Koa is a hunk that's been burned before and has no interest in starting another relationship, then Gracie stomps her way into his life.

I didn't want this book to end, I'm not sure anything is going to compare for quite some time! Highly recommended! Five stars!

Well Blimey Guvner Jones For such a little-bit, you sure do make some noise. !!
It's funny to the bone RomCom that will have you giggling nonstop. Goes to prove a Rose by any other name would still smell just as sweet . No matter what genre Les chooses to write in, her indelible Essexian smirk and smartassery will shine through. I thoroughly enjoyed the Essex Bird - Gracie Elliott's smart mouth and her sass and unfettered attitude . She arrives in Colorado and meets koa
Only he's panty meltingly sexy and swoonworthy . Yanno those fanny flutters, clit chills, and quim quivers ? . Yup Koa has single handedly caused all of those
(Well you gotta share him Gracie, that's how we do things in America 😜🤣 )
They are forced to spend time in the cabin due to hilariously timed miscommunication and snowstorming. What follows is rib tickling Comedy Of Situations that is so wittingly penned by this super talented author , I'm a huge fan of! 💖
Certain scenes will just stay with you. The Essex to American translation adds to the flavour and Gracie's mockery of certain American foods and words make you laugh !
Oh the title WILL make sense , if You ship hard
Read the book and Enjoy the fun ride. Clash of cultures and worlds is highly entertaining .

5+ stars - Essex meets the US….full on!

This book is just brilliant, I laughed so hard it made my stomach ache and I smiled continually throughout. Lesley Jones can write an awesome story and this one is no exception; it’s hilarious, touching and sexy. What more could you possibly ask for…well you get a brilliant story line and fantastic characters too.

I adored the characters in this story, Gracie is an Essex girl through and through, just like me. She is fantastic; she has one hell of a smart mouth and certainly isn’t expecting what she finds on her sabbatical to Colorado. Mind you neither is Koa; the bearded, hunk who she finds in the cabin she is renting. I am so in love with Koa, he is perfect, absolutely perfect; sensitive, funny, a gentleman…most the time; sexy and gorgeous. He is everything you could possibly want in a man and he is my new book boyfriend/husband. The other characters who pop in and out of the story and brilliantly written, love ‘em or hate ‘em, they are perfect.

So what are you waiting for, you have to one click this book now. I think it is possibly, in fact quite probably, my book of the year! Oh and the title….well it’s perfect, you will find out when you read it.

"I plan to tell you beautiful things every day."
Wonderfully funny!

After breaking up with her long-time boyfriend, Gracie decides to go ahead with their vacation plans on her own. But when she arrives from London at the cabin in Colorado, she finds the premises already occupied . . . by the new owner.

In dramatic fashion, Gracie meets Koa . . . which kicks off all the banter, British-isms, and angsty moments between these two fabulous characters.

Gracie was so much fun! Her quirky, irreverent 'working class' ways made for some seriously entertaining reading.
My inner Essex Bird reared her head, and there was no stopping me.
I loved how her inner monologue ran through everything from her 'what if' fantasies to her many insecurities to her moments of conviction - all of which were pretty funny.
I wonder if it's at all possible to fuck a man like Koa Carmichael out of your system. Probably not, but I bet it'd be fun trying.
In contrast to Gracie's optimism was Koa's hard exterior. When they meet, he's stuck in a cycle of drowning his sorrows...
When all else fails...bourbon.
...until he's hit by the magnetic awesomeness that is Gracie. :-)
Two days. Two fucking days was all it had taken for her, her pink and purple hair, and her funny accent to get to me.
It was pretty great watching her tear down his walls by just being herself.

Where I thought the writing failed a bit was in Koa's backstory. His two ex-wives were ridiculous, OTT stereotypes of the worst kind; they lacked depth and really grated on my nerves.

But even after knocking off a star, this story is still definitely worth reading. I don't know how many times I laughed out loud:
She's wearing a pair of thin grey sweats, which are tucked into a pair of palepink sheepskin boots from Australia that everyone wears. I think they are called Gangsters, or Thugs, something like that.
If you're into strong yet vulnerable characters who make you laugh as they go from hate-to-love, this one's for you!

4.5 Stars.

Every now and then you just drop on a gem—a Facebook post catches your eye, you end up spending a couple of quid and before you know it you have yourself a new author to stalk. And in my case you also end up spending more to grab yourself a paperback copy to take to a signing next month (to add to the two others you bought this week for the same reason, shhhh let’s not tell Mr. A). Anyhoo, CowSex—where there’s not a shagging heifer be found, but there is Koa Carmichael.

description

Chuff me, this man melted me. It’s no secret I’m 1) a total sucker for a beard, 2) a sucker for a man fast approaching forty and 3) a sucker for a single dad. Koa is all three therefore happy happy me. There’s also snow, a cabin and a lady who swears like a trooper and has no filter.

description She just blew in from London, crashlanded in my front yard and my life, and there I was, spilling my life story like I’d known her since the beginning of time.”

Straight-talking and with a no mess attitude, I’ll be the first to admit I was a little unsure of Gracie, but that quickly turned into love for her and her strong personality. And from the moment she and Koa are somewhat thrown together, the sparks fly, flirty banter ensues and hearts run amok.

description ...let’s not plot, plan, or overthink what happens afterwards, let’s just go with the flow and see where it takes us.”

Romantic, hilarious and with moments that tug at your heart but also make it sigh, Lesley Jones has created a couple who bring life to the pages and never a dull moment along the way. And when you add in a great bunch of secondary characters to love and hate and who bring even more laughs and odd moments of drama, this is definitely one to be adding to your TBR piles.

description Every relationship has to start somewhere, Gracie, ours just started a little different from most.”

Don't let the Title fool you! It's perfect! See that smile I'm still laughing. Fast and hard that's how I fell for Gracie and Koa. Gracie the Essex spitfire uprooted from across the pond (ahh see like my use of proper slang?). She has some bark maybe even some
Bite however she's the most loyal and you want her to have everything. Chance encounters and we meet Koa well Mr. Tall dark and let me just worship at your feet Carmichael . He isn't what you expect. These two just go and the banter alone is enough to have you needing bathroom breaks or your vibrator . Chemistry off the charts! Oh boy he has a past and woah it's a good one! You're going to laugh so hard , I mean this there are some intense moments some angst but damn I am still in LOVE WITH EVERYTHING #COWSEX. Ticket to Colorado anyone?

Reading this book for me is like having a conversation with my best friend, theres something so comforting about reading British slang!
I loved Gracie's foul mouth and sassy attitude, she's exactly how I want to be when I grow up!!
Koa drew me in with his brooding behaviour (let's face it, we just love Aholes!) but stole my heart with his openness and honesty..
I could rave about every amazing detail but there are just too many!! The book is absolutely blinding and I'm chuffed to bits I got to read it!

I have loved all of Lesley Jones books this one included. It was a bit different, I am used to her emotional draining, thought provoking reads but this was light and fun. I really enjoyed it!
Stuck together in a cabin during a snow storm Gracie vacationing from England and Koa an all american country boy. Their cultural differences and language barriers were hysterical. But I think I loved their flirty banter the most!
I loved this book from the couples hilarious introduction to the heartwarming end. Just a fun, lighthearted read!

So, I have this new book boyfriend I’d like to introduce you to…he’s name is Koa and he is one sexy-ass cowboy. I also have a massive girl crush on an Essex chick named Gracie. I adore these two characters; separately they are great but put them together and they are just amazing. Their chemistry is off the charts but it’s more than chemistry that hooked me with these two; they have a connection and a bond that is so intense. The banter is freaking hilarious and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I was hooked on this book from page one. I did not want to put it down and ended up reading it rather quickly, which disappointed me because I soon found myself at the end. NOOOO, I screamed and had to re-read it. I must warn you, don’t try reading this at your office desk… trust me, just don’t. You will laugh your ass off, you will have tears from laughter and people will look at you as if you’re crazy.

It’s no lie that Lesley Jones is one of my favorite all time authors and I’m always giddy with excitement when she announces she has a new book coming out. I couldn’t wait to get my grabby hands on this and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. CowSex is a rom-com that will leave you swooning, laughing, crying and cheering for the characters. I know what you’re thinking… CowSex?... it’s not what you are thinking at all. You need this book on your TBR list, hell, you need to just stop and read it right now.

What can I say?! I absolutely adore LJs writing and this book just proves how diverse her writing can be. I'm not a massive fan of romantic comedy but LJs writing about a girl from the arse end of Essex going to America was always going to have seriously hilarious consequences. Right from the get go I fell in love with Gracie, a true Essex bird!

I am in awe of Lesley's writing, she is the only author that has made me cry EVER! And in two of her series too!! This book is no exception; only this time I was reaching for the Kleenex for different reasons. I have howled with laughter to point of tears steaming down my face, both my face and stomach hurting to the point I couldn't breathe! When talking about relationships and Koa wanting the 2.4 kids, beautiful house with a white picket fence Gracie's reply was "Where I come from cowboy, white picket fences would get nicked, graffitied, or pulled up so the local kids could beat each other with them". There are so many instances like this. I think you truly need to understand the Essex way of life, the culture to feel the full effects of LJs humour but she does give you a glossary and just the crazy situations Gracie & Koa find themselves in is riotous, hysterical and pure farcical.

Told from a dual POV, the book is action packed from the get go. I was instantly drawn to both Gracie & Koa, even their initial meeting was side-splitting. Lesley always writes females MCs with a fire in their belly and soul. Koa was just the perfect match for Gracie as he struggled to get to grips with her lingo often leading to comical misunderstanding and crossed wires. This book is a must read, it's light hearted, funny and the perfect read if you need a pick me up.

You can take the girl out of Essex but you can't take Essex out of the girl!

Hands down one of the funniest books I have ever read. I don’t think I have laughed my ass off so much.
Gracie’s the ballsy English bird, Koa the American. I loved the language barriers so hilarious with her speak it made for great banters. Their chemistry, the sexual tension there were so many things right with this story I could not find any faults. A great read and hopefully look forward to more from the other characters.

For an author who’s the queen of the “ugly cry”, and emotional plot lines, I wasn’t 100% sure how this book was going to play out. I mean, come on, CowSex? What the heck does that even mean? Well you’ll find out but it takes a while and it really has nothing to do with the mating rituals between animals of the bovine variety!

Gracie Elliott is one of those characters you’ll want to be friends with. She’s sassy, vulgar, intelligent and a bit whacky. She also has a tendency to use cockney rhyming slang with hilarious consequences and then there are the nicknames... laugh out loud moments a plenty with that one, i tell ya!

Koa Carmichael may well be hot stuff but boy he can’t half pick em. His personal life has been a disaster. He’s the perfect opposite to Gracie; they balance each other.

On the subject of Koa. While the cover model is the lovely Franggy Yanez, I couldn’t help imagining the equally lovely Jason Mamoa as Koa. And for some odd reason, Gracie as someone like Fearne Cotton. UK peeps will know her as a radio/TV presenter.

As a story, CowSex is wild, funny, heart warming and a bit silly. But never over the top. Lesley’s uncanny knack for writing very real characters isn’t lost in the comedy of this story. There are a few dramatic moments and thankfully they’re dealt with swiftly but never rushed. The little nod to Carnage was a clever inclusion.

In a nutshell, CowSex will be a definite contender in my top 10 reads this year. I couldn’t put it down, brilliant.

F-U-N-N-Y, SEXY and sprinkled with a whole lot of passion!!
This story just melted my heart!!
Fantastic writing, well paced story with well developed and likable characters. Even the secondary characters were delicious and gave the story an added dimension.
The chemistry and the edgy but hilarious banter between Gracie and Kao affirm Lesley Jones' brilliant ability to create an unpleasant, albeit sad situation and turn it into a snort-laugh out loud steamy rom-com!
Excuse me while I clean the "snail trail" I left behind!
Oh yeah... our very sassy Essex native heroine Gracie went there!!
Gracie is an Essex girl living the comfortable London life with her live in boyfriend. After realizing they were not going together on a long vacation to Colorado, Gracie decides to go on her own and extend it to 6 months in order to find herself. When she arrives to her rented house in Colorado she meets Koa! Immediately, sparks fly, cops are called, and cowsex is born!!
Koa is on his own version of finding himself and evidently it clashes with Gracie.
Or does it really?
That's all you're getting, except King has a cousin and his name is Koa💋

Loved this book it was heart-warming and hilarious!!

Gracie is an Essex girl; she owns her own business designing festival wear, she has been with her boyfriend, Reggie for 5 years and they had planned a big trip to the USA, however when Reggie cancels at the last minute due to work commitments Gracie realises she is never going to come first in his life so breaks things off and decides to head to America on her own.

Koa has had a crazy life, he retired from the NFL then was in a band and now is staying at his late Aunt’s place in Colorado to fix it up before selling. What he doesn’t count on is the booking that was made to stay there for 6 months not being cancelled and Gracie crashing into his life.

These two have some crazy chemistry but can Koa get past his previous relationships downfall and give Gracie everything she desires?

Spoiler-free!!

I loved this book! It was a little different than the "norm" for Lesley Jones, and I found it funny and very entertaining! I loved Gracie and the fact that she's totally a no-nonsense kind of woman. She doesn't really take crap from anyone! She's mouthy. She's pretty brazen. And she seems to be a Carnage fan!

Koa has been screwed over more than once, so he's not really looking for love....and of course, it's gonna get complicated!
While I'm not ever gonna try eating cheesy beans on toast, I love the culture clash between these two. That's what makes this book FUN! I admit, there were times I was laughing out loud.
Do women really name their vibrators??
This book is funny and romantic-something on the lighter side from the Queen of the Ugly Cry!

I laughed out loud several times with the witty banter and shenanigans, a whole lotta fun with this one! Cheeky British humor mixed with all-American country boy.

His past is all kinds of messed up and she’s just wanting a refreshing escape. When their worlds collide, flirty fun ensues.

A light, sweet read about second chances and quick love.
Gracie is unique and I loved reading her dialogue. Koa will steam you up and maybe just maybe make you angry before he makes you smile.

Overall and enjoyable read.

Mrs. Jones has achieved it again. She has written a novel that will capture your heart and bring some tears. These tears though are mostly tears of laughter, although there will be some of sadness, because well, life! As always Jones writes stories that compare to those of real life situations. Life is messy, beautiful, tragic, but also full of hope and this story touches on all of that.

In CowSex we meet Gracie, who has been in a loving committed relationship for years but finds herself wanting more from the man she thinks she loves, when he can't give that to her she finds herself making the decision to leave and find inspiration again for her job and for her life. When she enters the cabin she rented for 6 months she finds herself not alone which is opposite of what she wanted. Enters Koa, a torn man with a whole history of pain and suffering. The last thing Koa wanted was to find another woman in his house much less his life.

Can these two learn to get along for 6 months or will their walls keep each other out? Can they find what they are looking for?

Beautiful story full of love and laughter and one everyone will surely love. The title is a little crazy but the explanation is one that will make your heart melt!!

Once again Lesley Jones does not disappoint. I did not want this book to end which doesn't happen that often. Koa was a gruff even cold bloke(as Lesley and Gracie would say) at the start. Gracie was an independent, smart, and kick butt and take no names girl from Essex, England. As fate would have it, Koa and Gracie meet under unusual circumstances in a small town in Colorado. There was never a dull moment in this book. I loved the British lingo and Koa's reaction. Laugh out loud moments mixed with strong emotion. The secondary characters were great making me want more of their story. This is a book that will keep a smile on your face.

*** You are the cheese to my beans

With a title like CowSex you're left wondering what the? But all becomes clear as you immerse yourself in Gracie and Koa's story. Leslie Jones brings us a lighter read than we are used to but she still pulls at our heart strings as we follow them on their journey of love and laughter. Gracie thinks she has left her relationship woes far behind when she arrives in Colorado. Koa is hiding from his disastrous past relationships and avoiding anyone that may have the slightest chance of getting under his skin and into his heart. Doesn't sound like much of a comedy but believe me it is. I found myself laughing out loud at their antics. My face hurt from smiling as Gracie educations Koa on all things 'Essex'. You will instantly fall for Koa, he is all things delicious in a deliciously delicious way. He opens up to Gracie and she sees him for the sensitive soul that he is. Why wouldn't she begin to fall for him I did. Gracie takes no crap from anyone and her exchanges with the locals are hysterical you wouldn't want to cross her but she is so adorable you can't help but love her. It's a wonderful read and CowSex is the perfect title. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

A brilliantly hilarious, fun, sexy, flirty romantic comedy unlike any other! I not only learned what Cowsex means ( I feel like such a dork for not knowing to begin with) but I learned so many other different words and sayings that had me giggling And wishing I seen more of them in books.

This is the kind of romantic comedy that had me rolling on the floor, holding my stomach, laughing so hard I can't stand it kind of story, yet it had plenty of sexiness, crazy antics, and fabulous characters! I not only laughed a lot, I couldn't help but to squirm and sigh and get all hot and bothered over the sizzling heat, chemistry, and definitely the sex! And this cover is freaking GORGEOUS! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED every "little bit" of this story. It was so much fun and HOT HOT HOOOOOOOT! I am in absolute awe over Lesley Jones and I can't believe this is the first book I read by her. Now more than ever, I am itching to read every other book she has ever written because baby, I am now HOOKED!

Cowsex gets a DELICIOUSLY ENTERTAINING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its a breath of fresh air in romantic comedy and its just a downright hoot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

OMG what a bloody brilliant story!!!

My very first Lesley Jones book (yes shock horror, I have not read Carnage) and wow what a corker! I don't think I have laughed so much in a book for a long while. Gracie aka "Essex" and Koa aka "Cowboy" are just amazing together, the banter between them is hilarious, I mean this has to be the best line ever......

"No, please don't give me that look. I've never been a squirter, but I swear to God right now, I'm about to blow all over your dick"

This story is funny, witty, sexy, romantic, did I mention funny lol, I had a huge smile after finishing this book.

Well done Lesley #EssexRules

Hands down one of the funniest books I have ever read. I don’t think I have laughed my ass off so much.

Gracie’s the ballsy English bird, Koa the American. I loved the language barriers so hilarious with her speak it made for great banters.

Their chemistry, the sexual tension there were so many things right with this story I could not find any faults.

A great read and hopefully look forward to more from the other characters.
