A Medical Game Changer! The painstaking work of digging through every nugget of recent medical research on magnesium revealed a grand picture that even the medical visionary Thomas Levy didn’t anticipate. The bottom line is that magnesium is the natural antidote for the root cause of all pathological damage from every disease and poisoning known to man. As grandiose as that claim may sound, the proof’s inside!Yes, all the good things you’ve heard about magnesium are true... but there’s so much more! Discover not only the what, but the why and how in this definitive work on magnesium. If you’re a layperson, it will change the way you address your personal health needs. And, if you’re a health practitioner, it will give you tools to effectively treat everything from Alzheimer’s to the Zika Reversing Disease contains enough documentation to pass medical muster for the hardcoreresearcher and yet clear enough that any interested student can appreciate the concepts and applications.
This book is about more than just one more supplement you need to be aware of and take. I will recount two anecdotes since my reading of this:
The first is about myself. At age 79 today, I have taken pride in maintaining my health. I still mow my own grass, shovel the snow, etc. I also work out daily - usually running 2+ miles. Nonetheless about a year ago I began to have what I suspected was a heart problem. Now I have had echocardiograms more than once, with no indication of atherosclerosis. But not all cardiac problems are caused by plaque buildup in the arteries. I started having what are called “syncope” episodes, a neurological based heart condition. This means that out of the blue, you suddenly lose consciousness. I hit the floor 2-3 times. My doctor started talking about some serious heart monitoring. But I went back into this book and started taking more of the magnesium L-threonate described in it. The episodes stopped and have not returned. I might add that this variety has also recently been shown to prevent dementia.
The second account concerns my dog. Yes, my dog. I have a German Shepherd, aged 11 when the problem started. As is common with older Shepherds, she began to have a problem with her rear legs. The vet explained it was myelopathic nerve degeneration, and that she would probably have about 6 months to live before having to be put to sleep, although she was otherwise in perfect health. I took her out for a walk the next day, and without any six month delay, her back legs went completely out. She could barely walk. I took her home, devastated to think she might die. And I thought about the magnesium. If it worked for me, and prevented neurological degeneration, maybe it would work for her. I decided to give her a 1 gram capsule. Within about one hour her walk was normal again, and that severe problem has not returned, although I gradually increased the amount I give her. It's not perfect. She still limps or stumbles occasionally, but otherwise walks normally. That was one year ago. I mentioned it to our vet, who was astounded that she was still doing well one year later. I thought he might pass it along to other dog owners who might benefit from it. He ignored me.
A Nerds Review of the Application of Magnesium Supplementation
I have also read this Doc's thesis, if you will, on Vitamin C. I loved both, and to a degree follow his recommendations in paying more than superficial attention to both of these levels in my body. They are both necessary for simple functions and mega necessary if you care about optimizing your health and disease prevention. I highly recommend reading up on this topic. This Doc cuts the BS and cares little for the general rules of more reserved medical practitioners. He is highly verbose here, thus the nerd reference, a fact I appreciate.
Exemplary! Get to Know Magnesium as a Pillar for Health
Dr. Levy gleaned and presented data from medical literature and personal experience about magnesium that qualified magnesium as a primary element in human metabolism. He presented detail for usage and successful treatment cases. I could not stop reading it and now know how important and usage is for magnesium, vitamin C, D3 and avoiding calcium and iron. This is the strongest health statement I have learned. If you want Best Health read this book! Thank you Dr. Levy!
As I read this book, I realized how many of the symptoms I have of low magnesium levels. I am so glad I acted on an impulse to buy it. I have heart problems, hearing problems, and yes, even brain problems. But my brain problems are not bad enough yet to stop me from trying the suggestions in this book. Wish me luck.
Oh man! What a book! Dr Levy truly did a thorough and complete study of the topic of magnesium! I learned so much from this book and am so amazed of all the tremendous ways in which magnesium helps the body. Thank you Dr Levy for creating such a vital and important piece of work for us. I will use this book again and again for a viable resource!
Excellent book extremely thorough and I learned much. That being said I will add that it was clearly not written with the layman in mind as the writer uses a great deal of technical jargon and for me at least required a lot of rereading/backtracking and looking up words etc.
