3.5 HOT stars!!!
I have this thing for heroes who are dirty talkers... I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t get enough of them! Adriane Leigh writes hot and sexy perfectly.
Slade and Dillion have been "seeing each other" for a while now. They are at an impasse in their relationship. Dillion doesn’t do relationships and Slade wants more than she’s willing to give.
Dillion is honest with Slade from the start. She can’t do commitment. She won’t to relationships. There are things from her past that have kept her far far away from anything like that. She’s giving Slade more than she’s given anyone else, and that’s the best she can do right now.
Dillion is a tough girl. She’s the type of girl who seems hard and invisible, but getting in her head and seeing her insecurities gave you the other side of her. I loved that Slade was able to get her to open up some. When he found out the things that triggered her or things about her past that really bothered her, he was sensitive about them and accommodating to her.
Holy hotness Slade. Slade is that clean cut good looking guy who is really a freak underneath- and I LOVED IT! He and Dillon had such a great connection and a crazy amount of chemistry!
Slade is one of those stories thats a little on the shorter side- it’s a quick read. It’s also crazy sexy and fun with just enough emotion to keep you connected to the characters. If you’re looking for a scorching hot read with a broken heroine and a fabulous dirty talker- you’ve just found your next book!

Slade was actually the mellowest of the Wild series men (*in MY OPINION*) and ventured into golden-bad boy Slade winning over the town slut, Dillon.
Their relationship is strictly sexual at first, but throughout the story Slade tries over and over to convince her to commit to a serious relationship with him.
Which brings us to our million dollar question: WHY is Dillon so reluctant to trade in her no strings philosophy and turn it into something real with Slade? When clearly, her mind and body say otherwise?
Well readers, you’ll just have to read and see!
A great final, sensual, and hell of a ride conclusion to a lovely series!! Wild, Ridge, and Slade, you will all be missed!! ♥

Slade Michael Thomas was a man I spent the whole of this book swooning over. He was a hot as hell, sexy as sin, straight down the line alpha male who knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. I loved his upfront, honest approach but what really got my knickers in a twist was that he was so attentive to Dillon's needs (and I don't just mean in the bedroom... although that man sure knew how to make a woman scream his name... good god his mouth was pure, unadulterated filth and those fingers... blushes once again!!!).

Dillon Young was better known as the town tart... or so it appeared from the previous books in the series but all was not as it seemed and I found myself really liking her character despite her complexities and stubbornness. Whatever Dillon was hiding, whatever her reasons for not wanting any form of commitment from Slade (or from anyone else for that matter), I admired her for not leading him on and always ensuring he knew the boundaries of what they shared. It was sex... very hot, mind blowing, orgasmic sex that brought Dillon back to Slade's bed night after night but that was all... yes of course it was honey... lol. But would Slade's subtle plan to weed himself into her life pay off? That man was persistent if nothing else and his willingness to fight for his woman (yup he'd already claimed her without her even knowing) made him all the more appealing and made me go weak at the knees.
"Slade" was a fantastic conclusion to the "Wild Series." Yes the tone was different to the previous books... I'd say more light hearted but the twists that came through periodically definitely had my nerves on edge and my mind going into overdrive trying to connect the dots. This is was sexy, sensual, heated read with a really good story line that kept me guessing right to the end. I rated "Slade's sexy ass" 4 Hearts.

Then look no further because Adriane Leigh's "Slade" ticks all of those boxes and so much more. Quite literally from the first page, I was hot, flustered, and fidgety, my thighs on auto pilot pressing tightly together and my toes doing all sorts of crazy sh*t, the blush that had crept over my face clear evidence that I was reading complete and utter filth... and I was in freakin' heaven!!!Lol.

JUST OK...
I loved first book,second was ,well just ok but I was disappointed with this, been looking forward to it for ages and it just didn't do it for me...
So Dillon has been the town slut,had a troubled past which made her not want to commit..
Slade wanted her, she wouldn't commit, bla,bla,bla....back and forth it went
Slight drama at the end, which I totally saw coming....
I actually struggled to finish it and even got bored with sex scenes, even the dirty talk didn't seem to work ( and I'm all about the dirty talk, believe me !! )....NOBODY does dirty talk as good as Lane/Wild !

The town slut and the all American football player – doesn’t really sound like the perfect match, does it? Here’s the thing…both descriptions are facades of who Dillon Young and Slade Thomas truly are at their core. Not many people know their real selves because for one reason or another, they keep them hidden, rarely showing anyone because it’s easier to keep people believing what they want to then allow anyone to get close to the truth.
For so long, Dillon has done a good job of keeping her past behind her and staying in the present, not getting attached to anyone because she’s too broken for any type of real relationship. This thing she has with Slade is the longest faux relationship she’s ever had. But she’s been up front with Slade from the start. All she has to give of herself is her body; her heart will never factor in because she’s too damaged to allow that to happen. Her honesty is both refreshing and frustrating because for much of the story, it’s unclear what’s holding her back. Slade tries like hell to get her to submit to him because he knows that’s what she needs, but she still only gives a small portion of herself to him, and he doesn’t think that’s enough anymore.
Slade Thomas is a master at the game of pleasure, and when he decides to show Dillon his dominate side, readers get a front row seat to the dirty talking alpha male who makes Dillon’s body hum with approval and her submissive nature bend to his every whim. Slade wants everything from Dillon…he wants her eyes, and he wants to own her body, her pleasure, and ultimately, Slade wants to consume Dillon and prove to her that he’s the man she can let down her walls with and trust to take care of her despite her triggers and her hesitancy.
But the battle to win Dillon over is one wrought with sexual tension and frustration. For every two steps forward Slade gets Dillon to take, she panics and takes two steps back, forcing Slade to adjust his game plan at every possible turn. But if there’s one thing that Slade demonstrates throughout the course of this story, it’s that he’s tenacious when it comes to getting what he wants, and he’s hell-bent on owning Dillon.
Slade is a much lighter read than Wild and Ridge. There’s no dark hero looking to dispel his demons; in fact, the heroine is the one running from the darkness of her past. Despite the change of plotline, though, there are still a few mysteries to be revealed and work to be done to get Slade and Dillon to their happy ending.
I’ve really enjoyed Adriane Leigh’s Wild Series. Lane Wild will always be my go to alpha male in the series, but both Ridge and Slade know how to bring the sexy. I did have a bit of a harder time connecting with Slade and Dillon’s story because I felt that their characters were a bit underdeveloped, and it left me wanting to understand their inner workings more, but Slade is still a worthwhile read to witness a sexy alpha take control and allow the woman he loves to gain some back.

Just like all the Wild books, Slade is one hot and sexy read! Don't let Slade's All-American facade fool you. This sexy beast knows what he wants and who he wants and he won't let anything or anyone get in the way of having a relationship with commitment-phobic Dillon. Dillon is harboring secrets—and I just loved the way they collided with Slade's at the end. A wonderfully written page-turner with lots of suspense and panty-melting steamy scenes. Highly recommend.

I am a huge fan of Adriane Leigh's and have enjoyed every book of hers that I have read. Slade is the third book in her Wild series, and each book can be read as a standalone. You do miss out on some back story and getting to know the characters though, so I would recommend reading these in order if you can but its not necessary. That being said, while I did enjoy this story I didn't love this one like the other books I have read from Leigh. This one just didn't have the same feel to it, and I found myself losing interest and my attention wandering as I read it.
Slade and Dillon grew up together, but were always just acquaintances rather than friends. Until one night when every changes between them. Dillon and Slade begin a friends with benefits type relationship because Dillon doesn't do boyfriends. Slade wants more from Dillon and is determined to convince her to give them a chance. He knows that Dillon has secrets and that she is hiding things from him. Dillon has her reasons for not having relationships, and until Slade she has never wanted more. But the more that Dillon tries to keep things just physical, the more that Slade starts to get under her skin.
I liked Slade and Dillon together. They were super sexy, and I loved that they were compatible on a physical level. Slade liked control and was into some kink, but he didn't let it go to his head. He was protective and understanding, and he always took care of Dillon. He would never hurt her, and I liked that he was always trying to show her that they were more. He was interested in more than just sex with her, and it was clear how much he was growing to care for her. Dillon was hard to warm up to. She was a bit cold and didn't let others in. Slade tried so hard with her, and I started to feel bad for the way she treated him. I knew that Dillon had issues, but honestly they didn't excuse her actions for me. She made some bad choices, and I think she let her fears and insecurities rule her life. I was glad that Slade was able to get through to her and allow her to see that she could trust him.
Overall, this book was a good and enjoyable read. It was super sexy, and I loved the physical portions of this story. I thought that the sex was really hot and that the scenes were written well. But unfortunately for me, that seemed to be the majority of this book. The story line itself felt thin to me and as though it was only there to fill the space between sex scenes. I was hoping for more, and I really wanted to see Slade and Dillon develop a strong connection outside the bedroom as well as in. But I really felt that we only got a bit of that and that the focus was on the chemistry and sexual attraction between them. I think that Adriane Leigh is a great writer, but this wasn't my favorite of hers. I will still look for more from her in the future though, and am excited to see what she does next.

We lost the two Wild brothers to love now it’s Slade’s turn. From the previous two books Wild, and Ridge we got glimpses of what was going on between Slade and Dillon. Now we get their full story.
Slade has known that he wants Dillon for a long time now, the sexual relationship they share is no longer working for him, he wants more. He wants to open up to Dillon completely and show her the aspects of his life so very few know about. On the outside he is the golden boy. Growing up in a small town and always doing what was is considered the right thing. If Slade’s neighbors knew what he really did for a living just a few towns over they all might look at him a little different. See Slade has a little bit of a kinky side. He owns a private sex club, where members can go to unleash their inner kink. And Slade wants to share everything with Dillon and he wants to take her to see how she handles this other side of his life. Slade just hopes it doesn’t send Dillon running without looking back.
Dillon was labeled “the town whore” years ago. She felt if sleeping with men with no attachments was being a whore, then, well she was. She has approached this thing her and Slade have just like anyone else she sleeps with, just fuck ‘em and leave ‘em. No strings, no emotion, just a satisfying sexual relationship for the both of them. Only Slade is trying to push her into something, she herself isn’t sure she wants. A relationship. She saw herself slowly letting him in and decided to save herself that it had to stop…the only problem? It was so hard to deny Slade of what he wanted. He is so domineering and possessive she knew handling him was going to be different than other guys.
How does Dillon handle Slade’s club? Will she open up and let Slade in? Will Slade finally break through all of Dillon’s walls?

I’m seriously sad to see the Wild series come to and end, but what a wonderful end it was. I was a little surprised with Slade and the double life he led, and I knew Dillon had issues but not anything like the ones that unraveled in the book. I loved both of the characters and their back stories, and the way everything finally falls into place for them.
I think Adriane is one of the best at writing possessive, domineering men, that have a dirty mouth. If you love all of those qualities in a book boyfriend I HIGHLY recommend giving Adriane’s books a try. OH! and did I mention the hotter than hot sexy scenes!? Holy hell…have a change of panties handy! I loved that every book in the Wild series was different. There was nothing repetitive between the three books or the three men. I genuinely LOVED this series and look forward to many more books from Adriane Leigh.

I’m seriously sad to see the Wild series come to and end, but what a wonderful end it was. I was a little surprised with Slade and the double life he led, and I knew Dillon had issues but not anything like the ones that unraveled in the book. I loved both of the characters and their back stories, and the way everything finally falls into place for them.
I think Adriane is one of the best at writing possessive, domineering men, that have a dirty mouth. If you love all of those qualities in a book boyfriend I HIGHLY recommend giving Adriane’s books a try. OH! and did I mention the hotter than hot sexy scenes!? Holy hell…have a change of panties handy! I loved that every book in the Wild series was different. There was nothing repetitive between the three books or the three men. I genuinely LOVED this series and look forward to many more books from Adriane Leigh.

Oh, man. I hate writing this review. Adriane Leigh is one of my go-to authors for when I’m wanting steamy sex scenes and dirty talkers. Since I got that with the first two books in this series, I was hoping for it with this one as well. It wasn’t quite what I expected.
We met both Dillon and Slade in the previous books in this series, Wild and Ridge. Dillon is the self-proclaimed slutty bartender at a local watering hole, and Slade is Wild’s best friend who’s sleeping with her. First of all, I feel like we are missing a huge chunk of this story. We jump right into Dillon and Slade’s relationship and Slade’s desire to be exclusive with little information to the events leading up to this. Dillon is cagey about the whole situation in the ‘I’m way too scarred to have a relationship with you let alone even discuss why’ way. And as for the reason, it felt contrived and hollow to me. This book was classified as Erotica, and it definitely delivered quantity-wise on that part, but I feel robbed of any plot. And again, I have to refer to the first two books in this series, as I feel they were a wonderful blend of sexy and plot. As for the sex, I was never able to figure out why Slade was so attracted to Dylan, so it was more mechanical than meaningful for me. Because there was very little plot, the book felt slow to me. It was one sex scene after another, but that was what their whole relationship was based on, and it never strengthened their bond.
The big disappointment here is that Adriane Leigh has set the bar for me as far as contemporary romance goes. Wild is one of the only books I’ve ever read where the insta-lust worked, but Slade felt like a mish-mash of the standard books on the market – referring to how intoxicating Slade was and comparing him to Michaelangelo’s David. I can get that from almost any contemporary romance on the market. I want something that’s different, or that at least doesn’t conform to a contemporary romance checklist.
If you are looking for a sexy contemporary romance, don’t count this author out. Pick up the first book in this series, Wild, and give it a go. While Slade didn’t work for me, I will be picking up the next book from Adriane Leigh. As much as I wish otherwise, every single book can’t be written to my taste. This story just happened to be one of them that wasn’t.

4.5 Steamy Stars!!!!
This is the 3rd installment in the Wild Series and although Slade is not a Wild he is WILD!! OMG!! I think I love SLADE more than WILD! Devoured this book in one sitting...couldn't put it down.
As with all of Adriane's writing she sucks you in right from the beginning and keeps you riveted to the screen of your kindle keeping you on edge for what will come next.
We meet Dillon and Slade in previous books. Dillon is commonly referred to as the town slut but no one knows the true Dillon because she uses her past as a shield to keep everyone out. Well, until Slade that is.
He is just as persistent and determined to win Dillon over as she is to keep him at bay. But he proves to be more to Dillon to just a friend with benefits. When she is caught between trying to protect herself and letting herself feel, turmoil ensues. Will she be able to open up to Slade and let the only man who has touched her heart in?
As the story unfolds we find that Slade has some secrets of his own. His need for control may be more that a woman like Dillon can take. After bearing his secrets and thoughts to Dillon, he gives her time and space to take it all in. But patience is not his strong suit, will he push too hard too fast?
Loved this book! The characters are real. You can feel the anxiety and frustration. The sex scenes (and there are plenty) are steamy and erotic. (If you've met Wild then you won't be surprised.) Dillon's fears are not uncommon nor is her way of dealing with her past. Now, any friend of Lane Wild's is a friend of mine. I absolutely adored Slade and his dirty mouth and take charge attitude. I like that he was determined to fight for Dillon regardless of how hard she tried to push him away.
Although you could read this book as a standalone you would be missing out on the experience of getting to know Wild, Kat and Ridge. Grab your copy of SLADE today and see what everyone is talking about.

Alright y'all, this book was HOT! Whew! I though my kindle was going to catch on fire. Slade, Slade, Slade... you are one seriously naughty boy! SO it is safe to say that I really liked this book. But be warned... it is real, raw, gritty, sexy, naughty, and has one bad boy who can talk dirty to me any day! This book was quick but packed a serious punch.
This is Slade and Dillon. Dillon has issues so she doesn't do commitments. She is lives freely and is known as a slut but that is ok with her. She has her reasons as to why she is the way she is. But there is one man who is determined to break down her fortress walls and steal her heart. And Slade will stop at nothing to get his girl. Can Slade break through the walls? Will Dillon's past come back to haunt her? Will they get a happy ending?
I loved Slade though he was a tad but rough at times. But seriously... the mouth on that man?! Wow! But he was so sweet and committed. The man worshipped Dillon but she was so resistant to him and his motives. And let me tell you, Slade is not the boy I thought he would be after the times we saw him and the previous books. But I loved watching their romance unfold. I wanted to smack Dillon a few times but once I heard her story, it all made sense. But I admired Dillon's strength and determination.
It was nice to see Wild and what he was up to with his sweet family. Oh, and that twist... I did not see that coming! Totally left field! Oh and I really want to hear Brian's story!
I do recommend this book and this series!

The heat is on high in this story of love, lust, and intrigue!
This book starts after Dillon and Slade have been together for about a month, but their undefined 'relationship' is nothing serious. This is mostly due to Dillon's fears due to past experiences. Slade is ready to take the next step, but first needs to reveal all of himself - including his quirks - to Dillon. In sharing himself with her, Slade finds that not only does Dillon share some of his quirks, but he also leads Dillon to sharing herself with him. I really liked Slade's character, especially during his sweeter moments which are peppered here and there throughout the book.
The majority of this book is about Slade and Dillon's sexual relationship, but the parts of the book in which they shared themselves - their personalities, desires, and fears - with each other were my favorite parts. I just wish that there had been more of these scenes within the story!
I absolutely loved Adriane Leigh's writing style! It was fresh and fast-paced and very natural. The dialogue between characters was snappy and sassy. Leigh moved flawlessly between Slade and Dillon's viewpoints through her writing rather than spelling out who was speaking, which was fantastic for the flow of the story.
Slade is the 3rd book in the Wild series, but can be read as a standalone. This was how I experienced the book, and I was able to fully enjoy Slade and Dillon's story!

Slade is the first book I have read by Adriane Leigh. It conveys a very important message that a lot of individuals can relate to. This book is all about learning to trust again after being wronged by a certain individual that causes you to question a whole gender.
Dillon has had a rough childhood. Her father wasn’t around much and she had to take care of her dying mother on her own. Her father’s action have completely scared her off of relationships so she just sticks to sexual relations only.
The book starts out and we are immediately introduced to Slade and Dillon. They have known each other from high school but have just recently started their “relationship”. Things are strictly physical between them and Slade wants more. The only problem is he has to figure out why Dillon is so guarded constantly.
Will Slade be able to break through to Dillon? Well, read it and find out.
Once I started reading Slade, I couldn’t stop. I was immersed from beginning until end. It was page after page of swooning over Slade and even included some insanely hot sex scenes with a little kinkiness. The second I finished it, I immediately went and bought Ridge and Wild. This is one hot, as in SCORCHING, fast read!
Slade Thomas the all-american football player, boy next door, who has a 'secret' side very few get to see.
Dillon Young has been labelled the 'town slut' from a young age. She has used that label to keep things casual, just a means to 'get off' & keep everyone at a safe distance.
Slade is determined to break through Dillon's walls & claim her heart but can the broken girl with a troubled childhood let her guard down enough to let him in? Trust him?
Dillon has always believed she is not capable of love & won't risk her fragile heart. Casual hook ups & a strict no relationship policy are all she needs. Can Slade be patient & earn her trust?
When they are on the same page, being light hearted & enjoying the moment it can be so sweet but are a few carefree moments enough to build a solid relationship on?
You will just have to read to find out, as always this is a spoiler free review.
The secondary characters are so funny. I especially loved the interaction between Slade & his best friend Wild, they have this playful banter & take no bull from each other as only 'brothers' can.

I love Adriane Leigh and her writing style. It's so smooth and easy and intoxicating that you immediately get sucked into the story and lost in the plot. Her men are always so sexy and in control and down right dirty, and Slade doesn't disappoint in that aspect. In this story we get to see a little more Wilde, which we all know is a good thing.We see a brief run in with Ridge too. And I like that Adriane found a way to incorporate the previous boys into the new book. With that being said, I want to say this. I didn't connect with this book as well as I did on the previous two and I really think it's because of Dillon. All the self depreciation and the "we're together, not together, together, not together" back and forth wore me down, I'm not sure how Slade put up with it. It was the only thing about the book. I realize that she has something holding her back, but it was her inability to move past it that was driving me insane. It was like she would take one step forward and two back and I felt like I wanted to slap her.. Now, I want to add this. I love love love how Adriane tied everything together- the root of her problems, his job, the secrets. I love the way the puzzle fit together. Well done with that Adriane.

Slade, Oh Slade! It has been so long since I read Wild and I must say I really missed the asshole back and forth banter between Wild and Slade. No two men have ever been written so beautifully dirty!!! I love these men. I loved Slade in Wild so much. I wanted his story to be book two and I was sad I had to wait. In my opinion Slade is the perfect mix of Wild and Ridge. He is one sexy man that I would never resist. I have no idea what Dillon's hold up was on claiming this man! I hated how Dillon saw herself and I wish she could have accepted Slade sooner. I did love this story though. Also, just wanted to say that I knew, I just knew who the partner was. I don't want to give it away but I had a bad feeling about it. I am happy we didn't get the typical Dillon shut down though. She had an issue with shutting down and it drove me nuts. I know it was her background and all but, she was so strong and kick ass in the last two books I was a little let down by her character in this one. I did love the story and the ending is great! I really love this series and the Wild boys. You can't go wrong with this series. The best part is Wild is in all 3 book. And I love Wild. I am and forever will be a Wild Girl!!!!

If you haven't read this series by Adriane Leigh. You don't know what your missing. Although you can read this as a stand alone, I do think you should read from the beginning. If you love hot, alpha males then you are going to love this series. And let me tell you Slade is one hot Alpha male.
I love everything about this series and the way Adriane writes. She writes so effortlessly and enthralling that once you start reading it, its like you lose the world around you and don't surface until you have finished the book. It's like being Sleeping beauty and awakening from a deep sleep.
I love the characters in this book. I love Slade, I love the way he is with Dillon never pushing to hard, aware all of the time of her limits and everything. Dillon is a character you can relate to, she a girl we all recognise our self in and that's why I love this series. The characters Adriane writes about are real and character we either recognise our selves in or someone we know.
I do think you need to add this to your to be read file.

Once again I'm disappointed with a book I was really looking forward to! I really enjoyed the first in the series, "Wild" and even though I didn't like the second book I had high hopes that the third would be better. I had it in my calendar and bought it the first day it was released but finished it a few hours later because it was so short. Where "Wild" had a really suspenseful plot this book felt more like a pornographic movie with the thinnest of storylines. I felt no connection to either character because there wasn't any depth to them. Even the big "secret" that Dillon had turned out to be a let-down. The only good thing was the idea of her secret kept me reading because I wanted to find out what it was. If it hadn't been for that I probably would have given up on the book about halfway and wasted my $4! Unfortunately the story was pretty bad and I still feel like I wasted $4...

5 Hot as hell stars!!

If you have read the series you know that Slade is Wild's best friend and has had a thing for Wild's bartender Dillan for years. I was always curious what Dillans story was so I was very excited to read this, but there are so many more tangles and twists with both Dillans story as well as Slades. She has no interest in relationships that are anything more than a casual hook up and Slade wants to own her. The only problem with this is Dillans past and Slades present are closer to the same than even they know.

This book definitely fits in the erotica/steamy category, so be warned that there is a lot of sex in this book.
Even though chapter one starts with Slade & Dillion having sex, Adriane Leigh manages to develop the relationship between these characters into something deeper. This story has a few twists and turns that really helped to develop the story line.

**sigh** ... you'd think that with a sex club involved I'd be all in, waving my pompoms, and all that jazz. Sadly no, I was just bored with the book, and yeah, kinda with the series. But my book OCD demanded I finish what I'd started, so I did. I really could have stopped this series with Wild & been satisfied.

Yeah I love this series, the men are hot the women are strong and there is always a surprise lurking the plot line. I just wish we got to see more of the future. I hope this series goes on and show more of the future.

This was such a good series, I loved all three guys but Slade is definitely the best dirty talker of the three. I really thought I was gonna hate Dillon but now that I know more about her I actually liked her.
