Who knew death had more than one ending? I hoped remembering my past would make completing my unfinished business more clear, but it’s only twisted everything into a complicated mess. Somehow, I have to make things right with my sister, who just happens to be an Xer and believes ghosts like me should be forcibly sent into the great beyond without completing our unfinished business. Even worse, the Xers keep showing up on our missions into the land of the living. My ability to fight them is getting better, but I’m also afraid they might be getting closer to Locklear. If they find the school, we’re all in trouble. Then there are the Twisted Ghosts, one of which includes my younger brother Cody, who I’m convinced we can heal if we can just figure out the root of the problem. But none of this is helping distract me from breaking up with Rafe to protect him from my drama and help him gain the peace he deserves more quickly. The more answers I find, the more complicated things become. Ghost Academy is a YA paranormal academy / urban fantasy that will contribute to your reading related insomnia. This is book two of the Ghost Academy Series and a spin off of Blakemore Academy.
E.C. Farrell never met a book she didn’t like. (Just kidding! Though she’s not going to bad-mouth the ones she couldn’t finish, she is still mad about the end of Hunger Games Trilogy - RIP Prim) She likes her characters sassy and her endings surprising. Fluent in sarcasm, she has also studied Krav Maga and could out-burpee you any day of the week. When she's not writing, she often teaches creative writing classes for a local non-profit organization Write Create.
Billie & Rafe completely won me over in Book 1 of this innovative academy series, so I wasn't about to ghost Book 2 (sorry not sorry, lol) - and it's totally worth the wait!!
The puzzle pieces are coming together. More & more pieces of Billie's memory are coming back. She's learning more about the Twisted. And there might be more to Rafe than she's given him credit for. They just have to stay alive - well, stay untwisted ghosts - long enough to figure out the big picture.
The story was pretty exciting and the conclusion was highly satisfying!
I am so in love with this book and series. This book made me laugh, cry and jump for joy. Billie is so sure she can help the Twisted that she practices controlling her bouts and is able to hold it back. With new found memories and the help of Ms. Clifford things are coming together. I absolutely loved it and I highly recommend this book and series. I received a arc for a honest review. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Just wow, the character growth, the plot, the highs the lows, the drama. I really cried when I finished the book, I didn’t want it to end.
Back to Locklear Academy. Billie knows she wants to be a ghost guide, but where does that leave her relatilnship with Rafe? Picking up up right where we left off in book one, Rafe and Billie are ignoring the obvious discomfort of their breakup, and pretending everything is fine. Rafe hasn't picked up any feelings or visions as to where his little sister Paige is, or if she is okay. Billie can't remember her past other than what she has picked up in visions and now her belief that her little brother Cody is the Twisted following her. Finding out how she died didn't answer as many questions as she had hoped. Now that she is picking up ghost guide powers, will this cause tension between her and her roommate Haya, who's wanted to be a ghost guide bust hasn't shown any of the abilities? And why is Landon being so nice all of a sudden? What does he know that she doesn't?
Joining Team Untwist the Mystery for book two was a wild ride that I did not want to put down. And I cannot wait for more of my favorite fox shifter.
The things we carry into the afterlife are weird. They basically don’t leave us unless we give them up intentionally.
Billie has a lot of unfinished business to tend to - help her brother Cody, discover what the Xers are really up to, make things right wither her sister Hailey, and possibly mend her love-life. Remembering her past may hold the key to all her problems. With the help of Team Untwist the Mystery and some new faces, Billie might just be able to take care of business.
A great sequel to wrap up the Ghost Academy Duology! My two complaints were the and part of the ending. A lot of questions were answered but the made it feel weird. Still another great fast-paced action read! Plus, the epilogue sets up for another spin-off in the same world!
Such an amazing book, easy to read, fast paced, action-packed, great world building and story line... Love Billie and Rafe, they are great together and now they have a deeper bond nobody suspected before 😍... Their group of friends is amazing, everybody needs friends like that, standing besides you at all times 🤗... Billie grows up a lot in this book, as more memories come back to her and they are finally able to understand the situation with the Twisted, who really is behind that and what her evil final goal is 😡... But Billie won't let her win, even if that means losing herself in the process... A must read series, 💯 recommended!!! 🤩❤️
I recieved an ARC copy, which I requested, and here's my honest review.
OMG! I love, love, loved it! This book is even better than the previous book and has much more action. Adore the camaraderie between Billie and the Untwist group, the relationship between Billie and Rafe and the snarkasm between Billie and Landon. There's general nerdiness, giggles and as mentioned before, loads of action. Definitely well worth continuing the series if you loved book 1!
Fantastic! This second installment had me gripping my Kindle with anticipation as to what was next. I did not see some of the twists thrown in. Billie and Rafe are the best, and I love the dynamic between them! The plot develops with smoothness and enough suspense to keep you needing more. The character development continues to be fantastic. And the new additions are wonderful! Just a fantastic read, and I look forward to what is yet to come!
After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story.
I read and enjoyed the first book in this series a few months ago, and I just wanted to know more once I finished it. Book 2 truly did not disappoint, and was an engaging, action packed and suspenseful read. With ghosts - a new take on the paranormal genre, action, mystery, a bit of romance and witty banter, this is definitely one book/series you don’t want to miss!
Book two takes off right where book one left off. It does not disappoint! Billie has continued to grow and start to get some of her memories back.
It's been so great to see Rafe again in this series! There is a surprising revelation here with Rafe and Billie and I thought it was awesome! Billie also learns a bit more about twisted ghosts, too.
I can't wait to see what else may come out from E.C. Farrell!
Ghost Academy: Book Two by E.C. Farrell is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about urban fantasies and paranormal academy stories.

Book two did NOT disappoint! Who could have thought that book two would’ve been so amazing. This author definitely gave us what we needed!
The gang is back together and better than ever. We get a few more puzzle pieces to the mysteries they face. Billie starts getting her memories little by little. Giving us enough to keep us guessing but not too much that just ruins the mystery. The adventure continues for them to figure it all out. Rafe is still as swoon worthy as ever. Together they are great.
Fast paced, easy to read. Couldn’t put the book down. I definitely need the next book. I love this series so far. It’s unique and interesting. I love ghost stories. Grew up with grandparents that would tell them around the campfire so this brings back the happier, easier times but still gives us much more.
This is a great conclusion for this series. The twists (haha) and turns in the plot are great. The solutions presented wrap things up nicely and satisfyingly. I did have a little bit of a HFN feeling at the end, but more like things are going to move forward in the lives of the characters as they should, not that there needs to be a sequel. Again, I'm really glad I had this series a go.
Book 2 was even better than book one there was a lot of action in this book. Billie finds her brother and helps the twisted. It’s a great read if leaves you wanting more.
Billie and Rafe are good together and have a good group of friends. Billie is starting to get her memories back. What else is Rafe to her? Will Billie get her unfinished business done?.

Wow this was crazy so much happened in this book . Billie Proved she’s one bad ass which/Ghost. I so happy she helped Rafe and his sister, and everyone else that she helped. Hopefully she’s on her way to happiness along with everyone else because they all deserve it.
