He took her kindness and made it her weakness. He took her love for granted. He abandoned her without a valid reason. He played her. She was a fool for him. She would’ve done anything he asked her to.

Cartier is his name, shaking up her life is his game. He shattered her world once without a warning or caution sign. It takes Raven a minute to find herself again. She doesn’t want hood love. She wants real love without the drama something simple, complex and romantic. A fairytale minus hood love.

My Heart in Overdrive/True Love Winning

Nikki you have did it again. I love the way everything turned out, I thought that Khadir wasn't gonna ever get it together but he finally man up. He was so wrong for how he tricked Sededra but seeing another about to take your heart away will make you grow up really fast. I love Journee too death but it's time to let her siblings grow up and handle their own business and family life. Raven and Rahmeek is what each other needed. I know he has made her more than happy. I'm glad these couples finally got it to. Can't wait to see where you headed next because I know it's gonna be awesome. Keep up the amazing work.

Now this is how you write a love story. Heart break, pain, forgiveness, growth, family support, and someone to help put you back together. Finding love and letting go of the baggage from a previous relationship to keep your current relationship toxic free. I loved the message in this book. Not settling for less than you are worth no matter what the next person may try or says. Mrs. Nikki, you just added another banger to the catalogue.

Khadir bossed all the way up on they azz. I like Capone but he wasnt Khadir pksin and simple. Raven bossed up too its a same Cartier was salty like that he just gone take it but its too late for him. Rahmeek was dat deal in and out hd took care of business. Nikki u always bring us the heat cant wait to see what u got in store for us next.

I don't even know where to start!!!! This book was everything!!!! I loved the vibes about it all!!! I'm so happy that Raven got her happy ending!! Her & Meek are young couple goals!!!! Sededra & Khadir is where it's at!! I think Capone felt a little salty in the end. I think he was really feeling her but it just wasn't enough!!! Cartier should've known he was gonna have to keep it moving!!!! This was definitely worth the wait!!!!

This book was so awesome. Raven & Rahmeek, he was a real man about that woman; that love ~ I love them together. Sededra & Khadir glad they got it together turns out Capone wasn't ready so Khadir had to step it up in a real way. Real love always wins when it's true. I'm glad Raven curved Cartier he wasn't ready and he was disrespectful. Real men do real things :-) AWESOME. That whole line you mine and "you know it" I just shook my head 'show me then'

You never disappoint. I'm so disappointed in Cartier, he needs to grow up. Khadir finally grew up. Journey was wrong for how she tried to talk to Sededra. I'm not feeling Capone at all. I was rooting for him in the beginning. I know you are not done with the Millers yet. Cartier is not going out like that.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Rahmeek is MY MAN!!! He saw what he wanted & took what he wanted. To be so young, he manned up and took care of his responsibilities. I hope him and Raven make it!!! I am a book hoe and I have added him to my team. He is most definitely a starting player!!!

The heart wants what the heart wants

The ending really took me by surprise. Sededra and Khadir play all they're life. In the end, I don't like how Journee tried to come for Sededra, but Sededra got her together, and Juelz was right about her jumping into Khadir business when it's none of her business. I was happy for Raven and Rahmeek she deserves that happiness. This read took me for a ride. I kinda felt like more could've been said, and some things were rushed, but overall, I enjoyed this read.

After reading this book I feel so confused... First I thought this book was gonna be about Sededra because of the ending of "Our Love Is The Hoodest" that's is what it said... But then I read the synopsis and it talked about Raven... So the beginning of this book repeated the last scene of "Our Love Is The Hoodest " then it went into Raven's story... I am reading along and I am finally into Raven's story... Then the other characters came in... And I seen a little bit if Sededra but not her storyline... all of a sudden there is a lot of errors and the book starts to go all over the place... Raven' storyline comes to an abrupt stop and Sededra's storyline comes in quickly but I feel lost because I dont know what has been really going on for the last year or so with them... I could not grasp a lot of people's relationship because ther are so many gaps... This book started to feel all over the place... It was like 3 different storylines kind of pushed together but with no clear understanding of what is going on... I can really see the potential in this author and this is why I keep reading her books but I feel like these books need more structure... As a reader I feel so confused and even more so after it ends... There is even some conflicting points in here... It is like the author forgets that she said something happened and it happened this way... So she writes it again and it is totally different...
I think that if this was cleaned up and read smoother, this book could definitely be a 4-5 star ready easily...
I liked Raven and after what Cartier did what he did to her... I was glad to see pick herself back up and find that happiness she deserved... I am glad that she stood her ground with him as well... I hated the way he was handling her... But then gonna say that he loves get and want to be with her... Boy bye... You lost that chance when you walked away a year ago...
Rahmeek was all of that... I loved him and how he handled Raven... They were perfect for eachother...
As for Sededra Capone and Khadir... I really do not know how I feel about that because it is a big chunk missing from this storyline...

I usually don"t give low ratings, but this book begged me to. First of all the book was very slow. The plot was good which is why I finished. The grammatical errors were epic. Most times I didn't"t know when conversations were going on it who was talking. The spelling was so bad, I sometimes couldn't even figure out what the words were supposed to be or what the writer was trying to say. The only real one in the whole story was Rameek. Him I loved. I did not agree with Shededra choice, but I respected because she laid down the law and stuck to it. All in all, this is the highest rating O could give.

Nikki did it again

First off Nikki never disappoints her readers. She always have u on a roller coaster waiting to see whats next. I definitely did not expect the ending to turn out the way it did. Im so happy for raven and sededra they both deserved there happy endings. But i dont think cartier and capone just gone sit in the background without shaking some mess up. This book definitely should have a part 2 nikki.

Wow! I need more..

Part two was 100x better than part one! It was like I was there watching everything unfold. So much drama and lying. I really like this book. Cartier has some nerve smh I liked Capone for Sedera but I knew her heart was with Khadijah. I need more, these characters were so realistic. The only thing I didn’t like, was the style of writing you used. Like, “My mother is here”. “I’m happy she’s here”. I definitely recommend this series.

Love make you do crazy things

I really thought Sededra was going to stay with Capone I just hope Khadir is foreal this time. I’m glad Raven and Meek worked out and Cartier didn’t bother them. I really didn’t want Sededra back with Khadir. I like Journey but she was out of line for coming at Sededra the way she did. Can’t wait to see who gets the next spin off. I really enjoyed this book.
