Hermione was sick of adventure. She'd had her fair share, and taking a seat at the desk in the back of the DLME was all she could have dreamed of -- until it wasn't.
One day Hermione is summoned to the bowels of the Ministry where she is met by the lead Unspeakable who has a rather odd situation that needs to be dealt with.
Draco Malfoy has just arrived from twenty years in the future and insists on speaking to his wife, Hermione Granger.
The only problem is that the Draco Malfoy she knows is still the snarky, button-pushing boy upstairs--and not the man in front of her now.

I’m in my time travel era and this fed the beast within.
This was exactly what I needed to see if I could travel down the dramoine path. It’s short, funny and surprising spicy. There was one part that wasn’t for me, but now I need more dramoine fanfics asap.

I think this has a good concept but could have spent a little more time developing the rivalry with current Draco and not rushing the relationship with the future Draco.

God tier short Dramione fic. I've read it like three times, it never gets old, never. It's got me smiling and giggling like an idiot, and then next chapter I'll be trying not to sob in the middle of class. Older Draco is perfection, and he's so absolutely in love with Hermione. I want a short chapter of him returning to older Hermione and seeing how that would play out. Highly, highly recommend 💕

Old Draco was too different from young Draco in terms of behaviour. Interesting plot but I wasn't convinced by the way the events unfolded and the interactions between the characters.

infidelity was tagged but i was like naahhh that'll be k (every day a little death had cheating and i wasn't bothered at all lol) but it was not k it really brought the whole thing down for me :( i think i just don't like there being multiple versions of draco and hermione bc i don't know who to route for and the infidelity made me really not like future draco and also gross bc he was from 20 years in the future?? icky ick ick

I finished it in an evening, so I guess it wasn’t the worst thing i’ve read, but it still wasn’t all that good. My goal with choosing such a short fanfiction was to get a start to reading longer and more complex dramione stories. I really want to gather the motivation to read manacled for example.

The basic idea wasn’t bad, but something just felt off. I guess it’s hard to fit all the necessary emotional baggage and all the feelings in such a short fiction, but still. I think it was poorly executed. The older version of Draco Malfoy became seriously unlikeable, and was really the villain of the story, not Cesily Sanders or whatever the fuck her name is.

But in the end it was a good warmup and got me in the mood to get back into Dramione fanfiction.

What’s not to love about a time-traveling Draco from the future, visiting his past, to find a way to save Hermione-his future wife!? All while present-day Hermione and Draco are slowly navigating their relationship from enemies->colleagues->friends->lovers.. Throw in a love triangle involving future Draco and this book ends up being perfect.

Everything about this book is amazing and I loved every word. Giving this 5 solid stars.

Listen did I turn a blind eye to some questionably morally gray areas? You do what you have to do. But did I absolutely melt at baby draco working up the courage to tell hermione how he feels because his older self backed him into a corner?? Absolutely. In such a short fic the characterization was done so well and the writing was fabulous and I had an absolute great time.

I laughed, I cried, I facepalmed, and fanned myself when things got a little steamy 😉😂.

The writing is incredible and the storyline is so good I literally couldn’t put my phone down! I’m a sucker for a good Dramione fic and, let me tell you, this did not disappoint in any way!!

AO3 is a godsend and this fanfic just further proves that point. 💛🤍

These 9 little chapters had just the right balance of time travel shenanigans, comradery with a very natural feeling Pott/Nott, and spicy Dramione both young and old. It made me cry. It made me feel warm and fuzzy. I read it in a day.
