Bohemian Mark is book two in the Traveler series by Misty Walker. This is a M/M age gap romance that can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the first book in this series which focuses on this hero’s sister, Thea. If you think you might want to read the first book, then you should read it before this one because this does contain spoilers from that book.
Leander Vanslow knows no other life than the gypsy lifestyle he grew up in. They moved frequently and he’s been working doing hard labor since he was twelve years old. In his lifestyle, you follow the rules. You definitely don’t want something different, such as feeling attracted to men instead of women. So he kept his secret. There was something else Leander wanted, an education.
Mark is fourteen years older than Leander. He is the COO of The Grand Royals casino and is used to the finer things in life. Mark grew up with supportive parents and is out and proud of who he is. He’s flamboyant and impulsive. He and Leander met three years ago and he’s been not so patiently waiting for him to be in a good place. He’s tired of waiting.
I loved Leander so much. He is definitely the most mature twenty two year old I have ever met. He’s lived more in his short life time then most men ever do. As for Mark. I usually don’t like either of the men in the couple to be a twink. He loves his sequins and facial products and loves to flaunt what he has. But I couldn’t help but to love Mark. He had the biggest heart. He fell fast for Leander and struggled with his insecurity. Together, these two burned up the pages. Leander was a dirty talking rough on the outside, soft on the inside alpha that made me swoon. They might be opposites but they were perfect together.
Leander and Mark’s path was not an easy one. For every step forward, they faced a road block. Neither was experienced with relationships so they were learning as they went along.
I enjoyed this so much. I am an epilogue lover and this book had not one but two marvelous epilogues that will leave you with all the warm and fuzzies you can handle. The cover of this book is what caught my eye initially and I’m so glad it did. Parts were sad with what Leander had to deal with but it was also a sweet, super sexy, enjoyable book that I’m so glad I read!

I was not ready to feel so many emotions like I did with this story.
Leander was such an amazing character. His inner turmoil made my momma heart tug hard. Unable to be who he really is is heartbreaking. But once he lets those walls and judgements fall of his back he was set beautifully free.
Mark is not your typical match for Leander. But he makes it work like no other. Pushing his boundaries and dreams yet grounding himself and his Lion.
This story has it all, laughs, sighs, and cries. A definitely must read.

I'm a huge fan of the the traveler world by Misty Walker, so when I discovered she was writing Leander's story, I was absolutely giddy. Add in the fact it was an MM romance, I was over the moon! This story has a little bit of everything. Sweetness. MAJOR STEAM. Friends to lovers. Super emotional. I was captivated from the start and devoured it in one sitting, eagerly eating up all the juicy interactions between Mark and Leander. The characters are quirky and funny while also relatable. This book can be read as a standalone, but after reading it, I know you'll want to gobble up Law and Thea's story in Bohemian Law!! Five GIVE ME MORE TRAVELERS Stars!

Time of death: 51% :(
This book starts out where Leander is 17 and gives a brief glimpse of his family situation as Romanis and then quickly jumps to a year later where he is moving on his with his sister and then just as quickly jumps to 3 years later. I didn't read the first book in the series (M/F about his sister) so I'm assuming the time jumps are to catch up with readers on what happened in the first book but for someone new to the series it was a bit confusing. This didn't really deter me as I was interested in seeing Leander and Mark's relationship develop.
What did bother me was that Mark OUTS Leander on TWO separate occasions !?! After the second time, I was too annoyed to continue. If someone doesn't respect your clear boundaries, they are not the one (not to mention Mark is 12 years older than Leander so you would think he'd be more mature..).

I would give this book 100 stars if I could.
There is so much love, emotion and chemistry in this book wrapped up in a pretty little bow.
These opposites ATTRACT! Leander is tall dark and handsome and Mark is the Blonde bubbly beauty. Leander and Mark so so very different but so very perfect for each other! The writing in this is amazing! I could not put it down and gobbled the whole thing up in less than 24 hours. It touches on so many things that will make you have so many emotions! You will laugh at Marks antics, You will root for them, you will cry and some point i am sure. I know i did. (3x but who is counting)
READ THIS BOOK! (and make sure you read Bohemian Law first) Trust me you will love it!

Bohemian Mark was truly amazing. It it a stand alone, however it is part of an interconnected series (Bohemian Law book 1).
This book is full of emotion. Leander wants more out of his life then the Gypsies way he has grown up with. He going to school is not the only thing he keeps secret.
Being gay is something he holds close to his heart.
Finally away from his community and with his older sister Thea, Leander sets to accomplish himself. Everything is easy until he meets adorable over the top Mark. Completely opposite of Leander's ruff alpha loin, Mark is soft and colorful.
I loved getting to know these characters and watching opposites attract. Of course there is drama; blasts from the past and family, always wake for great storytelling.
I did not read book 1 prior to diving in and I was not lost at all. That being said I will be reading it only because I fell in love with Thea and Law.

Oh, my heart!
Leander is so many things that I adored! He’s hard working, smart, mature and resilient.
He doesn’t fit in with his Romani culture/family. He’s so strong to go against that kind of tradition and pressure.
He’s a HOT and generous lover.. seriously this book was full of steam and super hot times! Loved it!
His love interest is so fabulous! Brash, a bit too pushy at times and so lovable! I love this MM opposites attract story!
The secondary characters are great and I recommend reading Bohemian Law first- because the couple from that book appear in this and there are spoilers. Plus it’s an incredible book!!

Bohemian Mark is sweet and steamy MM romance.
An interconnected series, you want to read Bohemian Law first. Although it can be read stand-alone, there's spoiler in this book of what happened in the first book.
Get ready for a steamy ride from the first page!
Leander is sweet young Alpha who's denying his own true happiness. As a Romani there's certaint expectation his family put on his shoulder and being a gay is definitly a huge no that would make him an outcast in his world. And the future of not having his family in his life anymore enough to make him hide him self.
While Mark, he's a self proclaimed proud gay. His family love and except him. He's loud and in a way feels like a spoiled brat who can't take no for an answer and doesn't care what anyone think of him.
Their attraction is fast and combustible. But when Leander fear of coming out and Mark brazenness clash...is the sexual attraction would hold to a real relationship?
When Leander's past come back, will he and Mark new found connection severe?
Sweet, sexy with a touch of angst, Bohemian Mark definitly a must read for MM romance fan.

Omgggg i can't with Mark. How he was and his outfits i loved him 😂😂. I was soooo happy to get Leander's story. It did not disappoint! Even if i wanted to shake him a bit but he's a romani at heart. Also, getting to see Thea and Law was fabulous and an extra treat! I cant wait to see who's next. I hope its Freedom.

Bohemian Mark is everything!
It's amazing, hot, sexy, funny, with a lot of laughing out loud moments, but also sweet, swoony, emotional.
I loved it from the first sentence to the last one, and beyond. It's so good and so well written, I got swept up in it instantly, and it was like I was practically living in it. I could see it all happening in front of my eyes, and feel everything the guys went thru. I obviously I liked the characters, whom we already met in Bohemian Law, but this book is just so much more, because it seemed like they evolved. I felt them, saw them growing. Leander is a serious, closed off, gorgeous young man. I loved, that in spite of what his family planed for him, he went out on his own, and fought for the things he wanted.
He is also sensible, and Misty did a great job while developing the relationship between him and Mark. . They came from totally different places, and although the connection the chemistry was there from the start, they needed time individually to get to the point where they could be exactly what the other one needed. Leander needed time to grow, to get out of his shell, to let go of his past, to accept that he could be happy with Mark. And Mark, being a little older, the sweetheart, gave him that. OMG Mark . I love him. I WANT HIM TO BE MY BESTIE. He wears his heart on his sleeve -literally- he is bubbly, colourful, sensible guy, with the greatest most supportive, most loving parents in the world. I picture his character like a fabulous unicorn.
Aaaaand a total hoot. I adore the sh*t out of him. He is like the most lovable diva-man ever. He and Leander had a few bumps on the road, but that just made their bond all the more stronger. They complemented each other in the best way, their chemistry was of the charts. The little sneak peaks into Thea and Law's little family warmed my heart and made me laugh and the epilogue was just wonderful, like oh my days, oh my heart is about to burst from happiness . Misty... I really hope this isn't last book in this series. I love your words, your humor, your heart and I definitely want more of these guys.

I didn't completely hate this one but one of the characters is constantly outing the other before he's ready and that's a big no no. Yet somehow I like the "outer" more than the other male becuase he was an idiot at the end. Also don't love the authors writing style. so hard pass on reading future books in the series . #imharsh #sorrynotsorry

This is the first book of Misty’s that I’ve read and it’s without a doubt my favorite M/M book. It’s got everything. Love, steamy scenes, family, it’ll make you laugh, it’ll probably make you blush. Mark and Leander are some of my favorite characters. Opposites really attract in this one of a kind book. Bohemian Mark was phenomenal and I can’t wait to read what comes next.

I wasn't impressed. It had such great reviews that I was looking forward to reading this.
But I find myself in the minority here. And that happens more than I care for.
So, where do I begin?
I liked the beginning. I actually thought, I'm gonna like this.
Um Spoiler....(Or maybe not)...Danior was a douchebag. Like, I felt bad for Leander.
I liked Leander's character at the beginning. I felt for him. I liked his voice.
Then we have the "big thing" that happens and the story skips forward a year. SIDE NOTE : Didn't that "thing" seem too convenient? Like, now Leander can move away and not get too much backlash for it?
Leander and Mark meet. Again, I wasn't impressed. No sparks were flying and admittedly, I'm all about the crazy lust filled sparks flying.
Then it jumps AGAIN to 3 years later. Huh? That was when I decided I wasn't enjoying the story so much anymore. For me, I don't like "time jumps" or "time gaps" in my books. Just don't. And here we had that.
When they finally do get together I still wasn't blown away. I didn't feel the intense, crushing, all consuming lust or love from them.
I did like Mark though. I will give that to Misty - she wrote Mark well.
Which brings me to the point that I don't really think Misty is a bad writer. She can write, she's even talented at it. I just wasn't blown away. And there were a bit more typos here than I liked.
Then we get the absolutely despicable way in which Leander treats Mark when Danior shows back. 🙄☹️😠 And, like, WHY?! Danior was horrible to Leander, so why now, all of a sudden, is Leander thinking things are different and wanting to help him?
And Ohmigod, Can we say cliché enough?! Really. Danior has to show back up. It just felt like the author needed something to do with the story so the jerkface ex had to be thrown back in the picture.
I didn't get the whole "It's embedded in you" thing about why he instinctively put Danior first.
Yeah. Okay. Not my cup of tea when I read romance.

We have one really great scene where Leander goes all alpha, possessive man on Mark, but then he seems to forget about that and doesn't even react when Danior shoves Mark. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER YOU WERE THERE OR NOT. You should have trusted Mark.
God, then we have the annoying father showing up to live off Thea and Law's land. Really? Like I totally felt for Law. Because let me you, that wouldn't fly for me. No way are my husband's parents or any family going to live on my land and pop up WHENEVER. And then wear shoes in my house. 😖 And I love my family, but I wouldn't want them doing that either.
There was just too much about this story I didn't like or love. It didn't meet my (Admittedly) picky expectations for a satisfying romance read.

God, then we have the annoying father showing up to live off Thea and Law's land. Really? Like I totally felt for Law. Because let me you, that wouldn't fly for me. No way are my husband's parents or any family going to live on my land and pop up WHENEVER. And then wear shoes in my house. 😖 And I love my family, but I wouldn't want them doing that either.
There was just too much about this story I didn't like or love. It didn't meet my (Admittedly) picky expectations for a satisfying romance read.

This is the second book in the Traveler series. It picks up right where it ended in Bohemian Law (Law & Thea story). This book is about Thea’s brother Leander and Law’s friend Mark.
I loved Mark. He just brought out a big old smile on my face! I could totally picture his character! He was loud and proud and so in your face. He didn’t care what anyone thought of him.
That’s why I loved him so much!!!
His flaws for me was his lack of maturity. He was older than Leander but acted like he was younger. I didn’t like that.
“You know, for being the older of the two of us, you have a lot of maturing to do.”
Mark was thirty-six but acted like he was still in high school. That’s the only thing I struggled with his character. I loved him. But he needed a good spanking! lol
Ok... there was a part I hated in this book! And I felt for Leander.
Leander was up front with Mark about him not being out from the beginning. He laid it all out for Mark. He was going to do it. But not to push him.
So Mark knew the deal before things started between them.
Well... Mark sometimes taking matters into his own hands was wrong.
The bar scene was cringe worthy. I felt so bad for Leander!!!
I see both side. And I get Mark not wanting to be a secret. But they have only been dating for a few weeks and the way Leander grew up. It’s hard for him to let go. It was all new to him. But I knew he would get there.
Ughhh... I really didn’t like that bar scene.
What I loved about Leander’s character was he never held back sexually with Mark. He took charge and showed Mark he was all in with him. He was patient with Mark. He let him be him! With everything. Mark has a strong personality and Leander loved that about him.
Nearing the end of this book had me a little anxious with the little drama that unfolded. Leander needed a little push in the right direction to see what he was doing.
I loved reading more of Thea and Law and their new little ones. Thea still brings out the OCD out of Law. He love her so he rolls with it!
I’m really loving this series and I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out! I hope there’s a next book!!!

Bohemian Mark is book two in the Traveler series by Misty Walker.
it is a standalone M/M romance with age gap. Still' the first book' bohemian law is just brilliant – it is funny and it has a great romance and it deals with important issues so I highly recommend it. If you don't read bohemian law you can enjoyably read bohemian mark, but if you do – I would start with the first because you'll get spoilers.
Leander (means lion in Greek) is of gypsy origin, he lives in a trailer on his sister's ground, finishes his degree and still works in construction to pay the bills. He loves his roots, loves his family but he doesn't want a traveling life style and he knows he has to hide him being gay because he might lose them. He is dark hair and skine and he is built like a god.
Mark is a CFO in the casino. He is gay and he doesn't hide it, his mother married the hotel oner so they are rich now but he grew up in poverty. He is loved by his mother and step dad but he never found a man to love. He is a blond, a delicate physique very extrovert and colorful and he is 14 y.o older than Leander.
They meet because of Thea but they play a game of flirting without other's notice for a few years and than the get together – and they are HOT!!!!!!!!!
Mark is more experiences but there are things he never got like being with a partner that cares for his needs and Leander – well, what he lakes in experience he filled with curiosity and thorough learning – their attraction is sexy. Their love is sweet and strong and so vivid and their bonding is both emotional and physical.
Still they have a lot of issues to deal with – mark's insecurities and his refusal to live in the shadows, his way of "knowing" what is best for Leander and him acting accordingly, sometimes against Leander's wishes
And Leander with his enormous fear of being "out" and losing everybody he loves in the process and his old first love surprisingly coming back.
They are amazing together – they are opposites but they complement each other, they are loyal and they are wiling to make efforts. Now they need to learn how to combine their worlds, find the best way between their expectations – of themselves and of each other and find the life they want.

The romance is slow to start, we see Leander strive to break away from family traditions and learn the heartbreak of first love with his best friend Dan. When he is working towards his goal as a young adult he crosses passes with Mark, an older man, someone who is talkative and outgoing even while Leander is guarded and quiet the difference in personality and age does not stop the heated looks between them nor the flirting that goes on for many years. But Mark is a wrecking ball and he goes all out to let this heat between them blossom. When they come together, Leander is the alpha in the bedroom, due to his size and personality. The connection is explosive and they crave the intimacy, but problems still exist with Leander not being out and Mark refusing to be a secret. There are surprise positive and negatives that occur in the journey. And from them being from different cultures, they are unable to connect during disagreement. It comes to a head wen Leander's past comes back. Leander offers support and learns he is not the same from the past, but in doing so pushes Mark away. Luckily they have support from family/friends. Loved the ending, and I do hope Dan gets a story of his own. Maybe a certain gym trainer named Stephen. :)

גם ליאנדר עושה דברים שלא התחברתי אליהם.
ואפילו קצת כעסתי לפעמים.
היה לי קצת קשה להחליק את זה לעומת ספרי MM אחרים ואולי בגלל שקראתי ספרים כאלה באתי קצת משוחדת וציפיתי שיותר אתאהב בדמויות.
אני באמת חושבת שזה אחלה ספר למי שלא קראה מעולם רומן בין גברים ורוצה להתנסות.

I don’t know where even begin. I’m not so good with words to express how good this book was but this book was everything. I fell in love with these too from the start. I knew I wanted their story since bohemian Law and was so excited when I got it!
This book was so touching. To me it was about second chances and never giving up. It’s funny with some, no LOTS of hot yummy moments. Super yummy!
Mark and Leander are so very different, but you know what they say opposite attract. I love them each for who they were. Each was perfect but where Mark was loud and funny Leander was the one who took my heart! I felt so much for him, they way he grew up and everything he endured made him grow up too fast. But I can’t image a life we’re your surrounded by many yet felt alone!
I’m so excited for Misty, from the start I’ve said she’s taking the book world for a ride. This is her third book and it’s another winner. I can’t wait for mores I truly am Loving her characters with their stories. She touches you, sucks you in and takes you for one amazing ride!

Leander has finally got his life together in the outside world.
Leander has big trust issues but he also has a big heart too as you will find out reading this book.
This is a M/M book and damn me it is hot the intense relationship between Leander & Mark will have you turning them pages faster.
The banter between Mark and Leander is hilarious they say the opposite attract and that is these two.
Mark has everything the opposite of Leander but between them they balance that out and take you on an emotional and loving journey.
But what happens when your pass collides with your further will they get the HEA you will have to read it to find out.
Thea & Law are in this book too so a lot of LOL moments with them two as well.

Leander and Mark were awesome together. We learn about Leander on the first part of the book, seeing it intersect with book one, but we get to see the man he is, and about the schooling that we learn about in his sisters book. I loved getting to see that side of him, getting to know him and learn about what made him the man he becomes. When he meets Mark... he opens up and I fall even more in love with him. Mark has his own issues and at times I wanted to yell at him but I totally understood where he was coming from. At times I wanted to scream at both characters for how they acted but in the end they got the amazing HEA they they deserved.
An awesome plot, great secondary characters and beautiful writing made this a book that hooked me right from the start. I highly suggest reading the first book in this series because it was just as amazing as this one. 5 stars #2OCCJD

First things first …. listen to all the reviewers telling you to read Bohemian Law before you dive into this book. They’re telling you this for a reason. Okay, on to this story …
Two more opposite people you might never meet but they fit each other perfectly! Their journey was emotional and at times a bit rough but overall, very sweet and crazy sexy! I love this Traveler world Misty Walker has created and I'm look forward to even more!

This was a good book. I think I would have liked it more had I read the first book but over all I liked it.
I love Leander and the chemistry he and Mark had. It was definitely a steamy M/M romance!

Oh my god, I can't tell you how much I loved both Mark and Leander. These two are a match made in heaven! Leander is conservative, Mark is flamboyant (and fabulous!). They are totally opposite but yet they balance out each other. Just like Thea and Law (Traveler #1 Bohemian Law). Loveeeeeee it!! Can't wait for the next book!! Another great achievement Misty!!

I love this book. Leander and Mark have beautiful chemistry. Mark is quirky and funny. He had me laughing so many times. Leander has had a rough time going against what he grew up doing. This book was heartbreaking at times and so beautiful.

Are you kidding??? This was the most heartbreakingly sweet story. My heart was absolutely TORN UP for Leander having to hide who he was for so long. I hated to have to read about the shame and guilt he felt. Hated it. But this story was so real and raw. It pulled so many emotions out of me. I loved seeing Mark and Leander fall for one another, it was incredibly beautiful. They are SO opposite but none the less, soulmates. I don’t really have more to say except this was one of my favorite books and I loved it with everything in me. I hope y’all will give it a chance 💓

Excellent!
This was a first for me. I wasn't sure how to feel about a gay love story but it drew me in and took me on an amazing journey of love and excitement. I fell in love with the characters. Misty is my new favorite author and I can't wait to read her next book!

A sweet, sexy and unexpected love story. Bohemian Mark definitely hits the mark on an amazing story with exciting characters. Leander and Mark are opposites that attract. What happens when someone from Leander's past comes back into the picture? This book was everything . It was enthralling, intriguing, and fun. An excellent followup to Bohemian Law. A must read for m/m romance lovers.
