A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors. And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder. Murder in the Mix Books 13-15 Toxic Apple Turnovers (Murder in the Mix 13) Killer Cupcakes (Murder in the Mix 14) Pumpkin Pie Parting (Murder in the Mix 15) A HILARIOUS cozy mystery from the New York Times bestselling author Addison Moore My name is Lottie Lemon and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety. And for some reason those sweet, fluffy albeit paranormal cuties always seem to act as a not-so-great harbinger of deadly things to come for their previous owner. So when I saw that sweet orange tabby twirling around my landlord’s ankles, I figured Merilee was in for trouble. Personally, I was hoping for a skinned knee—what I got was a top spot in an open homicide investigation. Throw in a hot judge and an ornery detective that oozes testosterone and that pretty much sums up my life right about now. Have I mentioned how cute that detective is? Lottie Lemon has a bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors and she has the supernatural ability to see the dead—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders and her insatiable thirst for justice and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with. Living in the small town of Honey Hollow can be murder. From the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling author, Addison Moore— Cosmopolitan Magazine calls Addison's books, "...easy, frothy fun!"

Toxic Apple Turnovers
This series is pure confectionary fun. It's light, it's sweet, and it's guaranteed to keep me entertained for a couple of hours. I give the author credit, because at no point was I able to outthink the plot of this book. Though, I was a little surprised that Lottie missed picking up on some of the clues about the robbers that I thought were kind of obvious earlier in the story. Under ordinary circumstances, a love triangle would drive me completely mental. But for some reason, in this series, I'm kind of enjoying the push-me/pull-you dynamic between Lottie, Noah, and Everett.
Killer Cupcakes
I’m still having all kinds of fun with this series, but that ending calls into question everything I thought I knew about it. Especially since I’ve read things that take place further into the future. This was another story where the mystery successfully kept me guessing almost all the way to the big reveal. The family, friends, and phantasms kept me laughing, and now I’m desperate to find out the rest of the story about that ending.
Pumpkin Pie Parting
The author gets supreme credit with this one, because I did not see that villain or that motive coming at any point in this story. I'm still loving this series. I can't help but laugh along with the shenanigans that Lottie, and her crime-fighting posse, get into. And the spectres and their hijinks bring this series to a whole new world. Bring on the next body!

More Baking Body Counts

The wonderful Lottie Lemon hunts down more murderers in yet another trio of tales. Heralded by the arrival of the deceased-to-be's pets, Lottie meets an owl, a black cat and a llama as she searches for the killers. On the personal front, she is still in love with both Noah and Everett, but since his divorce was finalised, Everett has urged her to spend more time with Noah Fox to find out if he is her one, while ex-girlfriend Cormack is still delusional as to her own status in his life.
These are cleverly plotted light thrillers, with a terrific trio of protagonists and an amazing support cast of characters, from Lottie's family to the myriad of women who call Everett, Essex, a name used only by his mother and sister, and every woman who has slept with him!
Great fun and I am off for the next trilogy!

Rooting for Everett

Love the quirky characters, twist in the mystery plot, the innuendos.
I am rooting for Everett, here's why: 1. Lottie and him started of as friends. 2. Both he and Lottie have no secrets, and when they did they trusted each other with their secrets. I like Noah.

Good

I like these books. They were pretty well written. I just wish lotty Would get herself together. I don’t see why they can’t have a threesome.
