Doublefasten your seat belt before you start reading the last part of Grayson duet. You have been warned!! ⚠️
I am trying to compose some sentences, but I find it slightly difficult because most of my sanity is lost...
I was on the edge throughout the story. It was intense, gripping, painful. Raw and tough. I was completely immersed in the plot, the characters, the development.
Joseph and Anna went through hell, shared a toxic relationship but their bond was undeniable as was their connection. Joseph’s cope mechanism broke my heart and his heartache brought me to my knees.
The twists and revelations were coming one after the other, in a fast pace, my adrenaline had skyrocketed! I was surrounded by danger, lies, betrayal, secrets, loss, forgiveness and healing. And above all, love. Powerful and unequivocal❣️ Dante had a significant role in this story and I was more than thrilled!!! Also, I was very happy for the appearances of Eve, Rick and Roman!
My respect for this author has been taken to the highest level and I am fascinated by her talent. 🙇🏻♀️
Catherine Wiltcher, thank you for this journey. It was outstanding❣️ I can’t wait to share more with you! 💞
The late afternoon heat is red and vicious, burning up the cloudless sky like God himself touched a match to the heavens.
“What is this place?” Shielding my eyes with the crook of my hand, I turn back to the car. The atmosphere feels heavy and intense. It’s weighing down the corners of my smile.
"Hell."
Joseph’s leaning against the side panel of the black Dodge with his arms crossed—a tall, Texan depiction of heaven, in jeans and a faded gray shirt rolled up at the sleeves. His face is expressionless, but that’s nothing new. His truth is concealed behind a pair of dark sunglasses and a wall of history I’ve yet to dismantle.
“Why did you bring me here?” “A compulsion.” “A compulsion to bring me to hell?”
Turning back to the burnt landscape, I squint at the carcass of an old farmhouse that’s stinking up the horizon with ghosts and neglect. Sweat is trickling between my breasts. There’s no breeze today. No let-up. There’s barely any sway in the overgrown wheat fields bordering the dusty driveway we’ve parked up next to—with its ugly brown surface uneven and pockmarked.
Hell.
I knock the word around my head again, hearing his past in his measured drawl.
“Come here, Anna.” “Give me a moment…” “Are you making me repeat it?” Bloody caveman. “Hell, huh?” I turn back to him again, but I don’t budge an inch. “I was expecting a few more chains to be lying about the place. Maybe a horned demon or two.”
The sunlight catches on his Wayfarers, glinting wickedly. “Oh, there’s a demon alright.”
“Doubt it. He’s back on an island in the Pacific.”
Joseph’s lips almost twitch. Almost. “Get the fuck over here, Anna. I won’t ask again."
He crooks his finger to me and I acquiesce, my stomach muscles tensing as I turn away from the farmhouse. This feeling of dread worsens with every step. It’s like the ruin is a gutless criminal who’d shoot me three times in the back at any moment.

The end of the Grayson duet is a bittersweet one.
We are back and this book takes places months after the events of book 1. Eve is once again pregnant with baby girl number 2. Anna and Joseph are in a weird relationship but together. Dante is allowing Viviana to have power as she is family.
Obviously, we find out in the last book that Emilio is still alive and Viviana is working with her father to take out Dante and his world. They have plans in place to destroy everything and almost everyone is clueless, but Joseph doesn't trust her and asks few of his contacts to look into her and even Dante has become suspicious of a few things but doesn't do much about it which is so out of character.
Anna is back in Miami for two days to join a group of former addicts at a rehab center to help her. She is not allowed to contact anyone for those two days and Joseph is left placing someone on the inside to keep her safe but Viviana shows up right after Anna enters and she faked with the reception that she’s an addict too, we as the readers know she has bad intentions and is plotting horrible things but the characters don’t and especially Anna but she starts to get a bad feeling and notices the multiple lies she is being fed by her ''friend''.
Joseph on the first day is forced to go to NY for a meeting and on his way back his pilots die of poisoning, and he ends up having to pilot and crashes the plane, barely surviving.
That was Viviana's plan to get rid of him, which in the same day or so she is on her way to the private island of where Dante and Eve are and Eve is about to give birth to her second child where the second plane with the doctors crashes after an explosion.
Dante has a meeting with Viviana, and he basically KNOWS HE KNOWS. And it's revealed he has known about her traitorous ways for 6 weeks but was hoping to be able to stop her and bring her to his side with kindness but it never happened.
She finds a way out of the island just as Joseph and Anna arrive and that’s where things go bad for her. Emilio basically admits he does not care about his daughter and allows a Russian to rape her while she watches on a live feed to see Anna being shot at multiple times. She is later sold to a sex trafficking ring but manages to kill the men before escaping.
Anna's been shot and her life is in danger, she was also 5 weeks pregnant, and they had to do an emergency uterus removal to save her life but it means she can never have a child of her own and this is a massive issue in her and Joseph's relationship, he does not want children and despite Anna's dreams he refuses. They are technically married (not legally) but this situation causes a massive divide, and she wants to go back to the sanctuary in Colombia after her surgery and loss. He allows it and she stays there for a while, finding out Viviana is there too after her ordeal and that’s when we get the ultimate reverse uno from Emilio and the truth.
Emilio did have a daughter named Viviana and she and Isabella were both sold to the child traffickers by him and his father. The sex traffickers never use names and always referred to every child/woman as girl. Viviana was always the outspoken so when one of the girls ran off after biting someone’s face, they assumed Viviana was the one who got out, but it was Isabella. Dante's missing daughter who was presumed dead.
Viviana is Isabella and that's a shock for everyone.
One silver lining in Anna and Joseph's struggles with losing their baby and her loss of being able to get pregnant is they meet a kind little boy, Edier, in the sanctuary with no parents They end up adopting him and creating their own little family.
Safety warning: *Pregnancy loss (she also has surgery to remove her uterus after being shot to save her life)
If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would. This is probably my favorite author that I’ve recently discovered. I plowed through her entire back list starting with the Santiago trilogy. I need to wait till my eyes dry before I write my full review but everyone needs to start reading this series ASAP! A few days later...
Review:
Where do I start with this one. This entire series is absolute cartel/mafia PERFECTION. I cannot stop thinking about every single character in this world.
Reckless Woman. So this is NOT a standalone. You must read at least Shadow Man but if you want the full picture, and I highly recommend that you read the entire Santiago Trilogy. Just go do it.
In Reckless Woman we are continuing following Anna and Joseph’s’ relationship and we are figuring out what the hell Viviana is playing at.
Joseph is at a dark place mentally. He’s seeing his dead brother speak to him. He’s closing himself up with Anna and putting distance between them both when he’s the one that put Anna back together again after her horrific past (in book one) “I’ve fallen so far so fast these last couple of years, but his sin is the only place I want to land.” One piece of this book is their love story. How dark it had to get for them to eventually find peace. I was bawling in moments in this book. It’s not a perfect journey or ending for them but it’s theirs.
We also have Viviana. I really liked her in book one of this duet. But, book one ended on a huge cliff hanger that she was a traitor and working for the enemy. She’s a huge f***ing b*tch in the book. She got me shaking with her actions. I got it. I understood her point of view. But I hated her.
Of course Dante and his wife Eve are in this book. (My favorite couple ever) His secret island is in every book. It’s the families sanctuary. It gets shaken up though. Dante and Joseph are besties.. although they’ed never use that term. Lol. But conflicts arise where they don’t agree on something very important and I swear I wanted to wring these men’s necks.
Everyone is being manipulated in some form and you don’t know who to trust. Even as a reader, I didn’t see quite a few twists at all. I was genuinely scared Catherine Wiltcher was going to kill off everyone. What she did was bring everything full circle and with a shocking twist that left a bitter sweet ping in my heart, I was bawling happy tears as I closed this book.
This entire series is full of brutal broken men who are on a revenge seeking warpath and along the way, find love. It’s unconventional love. It’s dark, and gritty, and so damn hot.
This series is pretty dark. Tons of carnage. Child sex trafficking. Murder. Mayhem. It’s the damn cartel mixed with mafia and dirty cops.
Trigger: Spoiler: * * * * Early pregnancy loss.
💔 This entire series was full of heartbreak but beautifully written. I’m in awe of Catherine Wiltcher’s way with words. I only recently discovered her and I’ve already shouted from my rooftops recommending her everywhere. I’m buying her books in paperback. I need it all. She’s a gem in the dark romance category.
“I think it’s okay to be broken.” I pull his hand up to my heart and hold it prisoner. “It’s okay to have jagged edges. That way, they can stick to someone else easier. It’s how you make two people whole again.”
“We spin for each other, Joseph. Right out of our respective hells and into each other’s lives.”
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Action packed and emotionally gripping, Reckless Woman is an adrenaline-fueled roller-coaster ride that concludes Joseph and Anna's intense story. Catherine Wiltcher brings it all to the table in this compelling story: angst, heartbreak, loss, betrayal, and heart stopping twists and turns that will leave readers hanging onto every word.
“He found me. He healed me. He consumed me”
Anna and Joseph are two incredibly complex characters and I loved the character development we saw for both of them in this book. They had huge hurdles that stood before them as they battled their past and present and tried to find some semblance of peace within the storm they were in. This author is so good and pulling you into her character's lives in a way that makes you feel their every emotion. The hurt, the anger, the uncertainty- every emotion that Joseph and Anna faced during this story came to life through the author's expressive writing.
“You’re mine, Anna Grayson. Mine forever.”
There were some serious layers of grit that Joseph and Anna had to dig through to find their happiness. There were moments in the story when it felt like all hope was lost, and those moments had my emotions raging. I loved the way the two of them managed to always find each other. While there was a lot going on within the storyline, the author still put their relationship front and center, and I loved the way their connection continued to grow.
“I take it all. The guns, the bullets, the scars, if it means I can have you.”
I really enjoyed the way this storyline was laid out, and the pacing of the plot was neither too fast nor too slow. Wiltcher has an uncanny ability to create controlled chaos, and then expertly bring things together in a way that works perfectly. The romance between these two main characters was authentic and compelling, and the suspense threaded through the book was top notch. The action scenes had a cinematic quality to them that left me on the edge of my seat. The journey that this author takes the reader through is a tumultuous one, but the payoff is spectacular. Lovers of dark romantic suspense will be blown away by this fantastic duet.
Where do I even start with how incredible this story is? It deserves so much more than five stars. I’m literally an emotional mess after reading this story of mystery, murder, darkness, light, lust and even possibly love. After reading Shadow Man that focused on Joseph Grayson, an assassin in the Santiago Cartel, I couldn’t wait to read about Anna, the one woman who can somewhat tame him. Anna has had a life no one should ever have had to live. It was full of tragedy, sadness and anger. Until the day Joseph comes into her life and changes her world.
Reckless Woman picks up where we were left in Shadow Man, and it has met all my expectations and more! So much comes to light it will make your head spin. So many times my heart stopped and I literally cried, but then as I read more, my heart became full and my tears were from happiness. Joseph and Anna have a connection like no other and no one will ever pull them apart. But when someone tries, Joseph will do anything to protect Anna. She is his world and he is hers.
I fell in love with Joseph and Anna in Shadow Man, and more in love in this book. Prepare yourself for a wild ride of which you will never want to get off. You will be hooked from the very first word to the final words “the end”. Please do yourself a favor and read this duet. You will love it as much as I do!
I fell in love with Grayson in The Santiago Trilogy and even more so in his own book. In Reckless Woman my heart was in my throat and the angst was killing me. This book was one wild ride! I loved this duet and cannot get enough of these characters!
Targeted as part of a revenge plot, Anna has found herself up to her eyeballs in cartel business she wants no part of.
Always her rock, Joseph continues to keep her safe, but emotionally, he’s drifting.
Each with layers of trauma, both Joseph and Anna have been broken by their pasts. Yet when their present threatens to destroy everything they’ve worked toward, they double down and learn how to lean on one another.
Catherine has, once again, created a story in which she weaves suspense and action with relatable characters. It’s an intensely emotional and satisfying conclusion for the Shadow and his Luna in which we witness secrets unravel, hatchets be buried, new beginnings forged, and hearts heal.

You are SLEEPING on this author if you haven’t read her before. If you haven’t read this duet-the whole interconnected series, gosh you need to lock yourself in a room and not come out until you’re all done. I discovered this author not too long ago-I’m not sure how I stumbled on her writing, but it was instalove. In a world that was so dark-full of so much danger, I fell so head over heels in love with her words there was no coming back from it. This book-boy it was a page turner! I was afraid-really afraid of what was going to happen next, and I constantly couldn’t guess what this author had in store for Anna and Joseph. Their whole story was just absolutely amazing-so thrilling that I couldn’t put it down even if I tried. This is a top read-and a must read for anyone looking for a novel that plays out better than whatever you’re currently binging on Netflix!
This is the best episode of your favorite soap opera come to life. It’s twisty, messy, and features many characters with nine lives and a spare. I read this with the speed of a drunken whore exiting confessional… just saying.
There are some horrible moments. There’s some heartbreak. There’s some piecing of past wrongs right. Betrayal.. double, triple, and quadruple betrayals. New life. Near losses. It’s suspenseful.
That said, I was lacking the deep connection of love in book one, and that missing piece continued here. I just didn’t connect with this romance. There was a lack of emotion, depth, and communication here. That partly comes back to Dante’s storyline continuing to be such a heavy presence here. It’s almost as if the MC’s storyline was simple camouflage for the suspense of how Dante’s story would finally come to a period.
Again, I had the same believability issue with Vi and Anna’s meeting in Columbia. Planned is the answer I sought, but the author never explained how Vi was at the airport waiting for someone who literally ran to the airport and randomly took an immediate flight to Columbia. So, the evil network obtained this info, transferred it down the chains, and somehow had all that set up within hours? *blinks*
The end left me the same as the beginning… wanting more. Anna and Joseph became side characters in their own story. Perhaps, that was intended, as they really were side characters within the Santiago storyline’s essence. Ironic, no pun intended, that the closure I was left missing was Dante and his new possession. For all the miles and miles of journey the reader took with that storyline in FIVE books, there was one sentence of on-screen closure and one epilogue sentence. <—— That lack of left me more disappointed than anything.
Overall
It’s been a damn adventure if nothing else. From Santiago book one to this book, I have been captivated. That fact alone is worthy of praise because it takes a LOT to hold my fickle attention through one book, much less five.
Ugh. Nope. What the hell just happened? Joseph chases Anna to the ends of the earth and back and once he catches her he falls apart and emotionally just dries up and leaves her hanging. Dante makes decisions that make no sense. There is no world where Dante would have let her on the island when his wife was about to give birth. Who wrote all that?
ALL the most emotionally charged and important scenes are skipped completely, and emotional disconnects/outbursts between Dante and Joseph make no sense. Joseph never opens up to Anna. She finds all of his trauma backstory info on the internet. (so apparently all his enemies and anyone else doing a dive into his background knows his damage because it's not like Joseph changed his name) Joseph is able to affect a rescue on several continents, again the reader is shown the aftermath of this without any info on how he could pull that off. In the end, Anna is now okay with Joseph's new job? Wut? Finally, Joseph askes Dante about the timing of his association with Dante. WTH? How are we supposed to believe that Joseph would be so devoted to Dante if he had the smallest, most miniscule suspicion like that? No effing way.
Finally, I could see the "twist" coming from the first book in the duet and wasn't even a little bit surprised so that wasn't very fulfilling either in a book of not fulfilling interactions.
Wow wow wow .......Catherine your amazing you give me exactly what I need when delving into a book series and each story gets better and better to the point I miss these damn characters days after I’ve read their stories, so I go back and read them again over and over!
Joseph and Anna well what can I say only “there is beauty in being broken!”
Again it was great to see all the characters back from the Santiago series, mmmmm Dante!!! Lol and I loved the twists, turns and revelations and ohhh there is a big one! 😉
Really can’t wait now for bad blood the first book in the corrupt series eck excited!
I’ll say it again if you haven’t read the Santiago trilogy and books after relating to the whole damn cartel then your bloody bonkers....go and add to your list now damn it, you will defiantly not regret it!
Catherine your a star shining brightly in my library Xx
I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS PLOT TWIST!! It became darker to the end. I was doing fine until anna shoot &accident and viv rape and showing it to dante that was NOT I WAS EXPECTING. The action and plot is good but there are less things mafia in it but still it was worth it. I want more of grayson story it wasn’t fair that his feelings left unexplained about his past untill the end.
OMG! It was a real firecracker and a blow! Total Armageddon! Courtesy of the author, I got an advanced reader copy and was able to read this book a few days earlier. After those revelations in the epilogue Shadow Man, it was really hard to wait (I've been waiting for it since May 2020), but now after reading it, I know I'll come back to it soon and read it again. It is a wonderful culmination of the wonderful Santiago series, explaining all the threads that have begun. There are no inaccuracies or inconsistencies here, everything is well thought out, despite the fact that sometimes it is difficult for the reader to grasp it, when the impossible becomes possible. However, on closer examination, it turns out to be possible. I have to use a 'code' to avoid spoiling, and I can't really write about an action, that starts with the first chapters and doesn't let go until the very end. But I can say that I really liked the creation of Vi's character, on the one hand ruthless, fed with lies, perfectly controlled, and on the other, lost, looking for friendship and sticking to it. In turn, Anna and Joseph continue to fight their demons. Joseph drowns his sorrows in whiskey, 'talks' to his brother, Cash, you might say he is on the verge of insanity. Anna, in turn, is damaged again and it seems that this time it will be difficult for her to regain the moonlight that has been extinguished. However, the epilogue shows that this moon is slowly starting to glow dimly. A wonderful adventure. It's a pity it's over. Although maybe the characters deserve several years of peace and running an idyllic family life to return in the next generation :)
Catherine Wiltcher knows how to grip your heart like a vice when it comes to her writing. She weaves an unforgettable tale fueled on vengeance, action and betrayal. This may be the darkest, edgiest book that I have sank my bloody teeth into. Reckless Woman is not your typical romance, so you can toss out all your preconceived notions. Don’t expect Joseph to be a white knight. There is a reason why he is known as the dark of the night. Stalks the shadows and kills with ease. One thing is certain when it comes to Catherine’s stories, they are a piece of art, they are profound, unique and utterly captivating from start to finish.
“How do I explain that to love a shadow is to love all of his darkness?”
I need to take a breather, I had to read Reckless Woman slow due to the amount of tears I shed. Joseph & Anna are both shattered in a dark place, struggling to find solid ground as both past and present haunt their every whim. Empty. Alone. Drowning in a sea of vast nothingness. But no matter the stakes, together their love could never be severed. To see how they were spiraling down the rabbit hole with their own grief just about destroyed me. Yet the lengths Joseph goes to protect and shield Anna from it all made my heart weep with joy. I can’t believe this is the end to such a haunting, utterly explosive love story.
“You’re mine, Anna Grayson. Mine forever.”
I cannot fathom how I didn’t die on spot after reading the last page. The Grayson Duet has been an emotional ride, one that I will never forget. Now excuse me while I go and weep in a corner.
There's just so many things that happened in this book and each and every one of them is pivotal to the next events. The author has always been fluid with her writing style and she very much conveys all her characters and their thoughts and actions perfectly. This author is my prose god and I'm a slave for her words!
This is the kind of book where there is no added page filters and no unnecessary dramas. Each event that's dropping will keep you on the edge of your seat, for sure!
I love that Joseph and Anna's relationship (just like Dante and Eve's and Rick and Nina's) are forged in fire. They're unshakable and solid and just the kind where it feels so good ro be loved by these men!
Joseph's shadow is getting darker but having Anna kept him tethered to some light in his life. They had a couple of bumps and the last one was huge but they paved their own happy ever after and own it!
It feels so good to be back in this world because these characters have so many shenanigans to share with us. There's never a dull moment going back to them.
And the best part, the most I-just-can't-believe-this-but-I'm-so-happy-about-this part is that this author gifted us something in this book and I am still sobbing (happy tears, btw) everytime I think about it. It is truly a gift to us readers and I can't thank this author enough for giving that gift to us.
Wow, what a completion to the Santiago story. This book concludes many of the loose ends that were hanging and fraying in the winds of your mind. The relationship between Anna and Joseph is a brutal affair. Both haunted by their pasts and too wounded to look forward to a future. When Anna returns to Miami, it cut me to the bone, even though she made the decision to follow her shadow man, life has a way of stealing if from you before you take a step down that road. The pain and suffering that is couple endure will have your heart clenching and tears burning your eyes. Viviana, I just wanted to get a hold of her and shake some sense into her. Her affection towards Anna was her undoing in some ways, but when she visits the island I could kill her at the threats she lays down at Dante's family. This book really draws you in, makes you feel like you're a part of it, witnessing the highs and lows and wanting to help them come out the victor. Amazing read.
WOW WHAT A SERIES! How can you make 5 books and still throw so many jaw dropping bombshells into the mix! One of the craziest/best ones happened when I was 96% done with this book! Cannot recommend enough!!
A masterpiece. Stunning, brilliant, I absolutely loved ‘Reckless Woman’! Why? Because of the author’s writing, the plot and the characters of this book. Actually all books by Catherine Wilcher are amazing because of those reasons. This is the perfect conclusion after the first book, Shadow Man. I laughed, I cried, I cried some more and ended up with my jaw dropped and my heart melted at the end. What. Such.An. Amaing. Story.
I love how wonderfully every scene has a meaning and all of them click together and form a great and a thrilling adventure. All the characters have an important role to play in the plot that is expertly carried out. The interaction between all the characters is priceless. The banter, the egos colliding, the humor, the fights,... The men are hot alpha anti-heroes. Tough, smart and the best in their “jobs” and their women are strong, determined and willing to fight for their happiness. All the characters have been hurt and have demons to fight and that emotional journey is totally worth it. Of course there’re also steamy and sexy scenes, suitably combined with the action and the thrill of the story.
Following the Santiago trilogy, this book explores more of Dante’s second in command, Joseph, but also keeps developing the stories of the other characters. The story is intriguing, action-packed, fast-paced but not rushed, with twists and surprises that keeps the tension for the whole book.
I’ve enjoyed everything about this book and can’t wait for the next books coming.
Joseph Grayson the mysterious Shadow Man finally gives us what we've all been dying for....his secrets. Stripped bare and raw the lethal assassin for The Santiago Cartel unleashes a powerful Tsunami of emotions, I wasn't prepared for.
We live through the Violence and Chaos, feel the utter devastation that made him the formidable force of nature he is today....the Shadow you never see coming.
Never have I wanted to understand a character as much as I have with Joseph, he truly fascinated me right from the very beginning, way back in the Santiago Trilogy. I knew then he was something special and as much as I loved Dante, Joseph stole my heart.
The Grayson Duet, Shadow Man and Reckless Woman were both Phenomenal reads, and a Duet I highly recommend. Catherine Wiltcher delivered more than I ever could've predicted or dreamt of. A heart pumping adrenalin ride, full of suspense, danger and violence, love, loss and forgiveness.
Joseph and Anna's story is a turbulent, brutal and painful read at times, yet every tragic ugly moment is poignant to their journey. It makes their love story all the more beautiful for it. Their history completely broke me but their future healed my soul and filled my heart with happiness.
This is the second and final book in the duet and if I thought there couldn’t be more heart-crunching drama… Yeah, I was soooo wrong….
Looking at the blurb there would be very little, indeed, that I could share without spoiling it all. I have to talk in feelings and stuff (which is not easy especially having none left to pummel after this read) so I will try.
Anger. Love. Revenge. Betrayal. Loss. Recovery. Devotion. Sacrifice. Pain. Yup, that pretty much covers it. Except these words can’t convey how, pulled together with these complicated, deep characters, their story will turn you and your heart upside down.
I found this author through a blurb that caught my eye and it’s been a reading love-fest ever since. If you haven’t read her before, be prepared to seek out any and every word she’s ever strung together. Her stories will wring every emotion out of the characters and the pages they bring alive.
Oh, and you too. Trust me, I have first-hand experience…
Where do I even begin? First thing first, make sure that at least you’ve read Shadow Man, before you dive into reckless woman, but if you want the full picture read Santiago trilogy’s well. Believe me, worth the time! Second part of Grayson duet picks up where first book left us. The story is fast paced and full of twists and surprises. I cried with Joseph, got angry and heartbroken with Anna and laughed with Rick Sanders (yeah he is back and at his best!). Vi definitely kept my head spinning, keeping up with her was nearly impossible. Dante made me once again question my own morals (yeah I felt for and agreed with head of the cartel!) and Eve was just strong intuitive self once again. I absolutely loved this book. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so I won’t go into the storyline, but believe me this Catherine Wiltcher at her very best, you won’t regret single minute spend with her characters. Just grab a copy and enjoy the ride- beware there is hard landing (or two)included.
The final book for Joseph and Anna in a twisted thrilling pantie dropping book
So where do I start! I received my arc copy today and couldn’t put the book down. I’ve read a lot of books over the years and loved all the Santiago series but this book was hands down best book I’ve ever read.
It was jaw dropping, it shocked me, it had me screaming and most of all it had me so in love with Joseph and Anna. Dante is his normal crazy self and lastly you all best hold on to your seats for the twist in this book!!
Joseph goes through a lot of darkness in this book and Anna something very traumatic but as always there chemistry is off the charts Hot.
I’m sad I’ve finished the book and am off to reread the whole series :) 100% worth all 5 stars. Im really hoping we get to see more of Edier in the furture
This series is everything!! I was anxiously awaiting this sequel. I was not disappointed in the least. The action begins in the first pages and the plot twists keep you turning the pages! The shocking revelations have you wanting to throw your kindle. I experienced a gambit of emotions as events unfolded. This is the results of the most talented and extraordinary creativity of Catherine Wiltcher. The emotional turmoil that Joseph and Anna experienced is so vivid and heartbreaking for the reader. The connection we have for these characters keep us coming back for more. I have so enjoyed this series and the interlocking stories. Bravo Bravo! Catherine Wiltcher
Reckless Woman was phenomenal! We met Joseph and Anna in Shadow Man, and I've wanted their story ever since then. Joseph is Dante Santiago's best friend and sidekick, but he is a badass in his own right. As Anna said:
"You and I, we own our bad."
They may not be all about hearts and flowers, but together, they have their own brand of love. I absolutely loved the story, the plot, the intensely intriguing action, and the deep, unapologetic love in this book! It was sexy and alluring in turn, with witty dialogue and scenes that really made this book come alive! This is book two of one amazing duet that should not be missed!
I don’t know how to say this, but my mind is spinning so hard right now! I’m in love with this characters so much! This story made me cry rivers and rivers, I was hurting for them so deeply, I felt the ache in my core! And the book was getting better and better and the end was exceptional, mind blowing, deserving tears of happiness, of angst and resignation! I never found myself so entranced by a story before like this one! I can’t comment the developments because I would be firing spoilers all over, So I’ll give you this:
READ AND TOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
Finding this author this weekend was the highlight of the year when it comes to my reading.
And my heart has been shattered beyond repair… oh wow! If I thought the Santiago trilogy was dark and full of twists, the Greyson Duet especially Reckless Woman hit me like an 18 wheeler, front and center. Anna’s pain… I feel it in my bones. I thought Dante was evil (and he is) but Joseph… ugh he’s just so frustrating! It hurts me the way Anna’s choices got ripped away from her. It was an outstanding book, yes! But so much hurt and pain. A true dark, dark, dark romance.
I had the pleasure if reading an arc of this book this is the 2nd book to the grayson duet and OMG my heart was ripped out and put back together again catherine you done absolutely fantastic with this book you smashed it way out of the park. i didn't think i could love Joseph and anna any more than i already did boy how wrong was i. This was a book i really didnt want to end it was a brilliant end to the duet.i sobbed, got angry and sobbed some more.
This book! It tore my heart out, chewed it up and spit it out. This book make me ugly cry and laugh all in one chapter. Catherine is such an amazing author. The way she writes her characters and makes you fall in love with them. Joseph grayson will forever hold my heart.
