This book had me eating up the pages in one sitting. Emotions ran high and the characters were portrayed beautifully. It made me fall in love with Damon and Jae! The romance was timed well and the sexy scenes weren’t over the top. Everything had balance and that’s why I absolutely adore MS Parker’s writing. She consistently has me so wrapped up in her books and that’s a huge win for this reader!

Another great story that will have you swoony over Damon. Damon & Jae are quite the pair. I really enjoyed their story. Can’t wait too read the next book in this series.

The sweetest rebel you’d wish to meet
This is the second book in the Holden Brothers Series and if I thought Devlin Holden was deliciously sweet and gorgeous, then Damon is the cherry on top!
Now rebel is a little misleading because when you hear rebel you think ‘bad boy’; someone who is troublesome and difficult. Well, Damon Holden doesn’t fit that description at all. In fact he’s far from it.
The only think really that makes Damon a rebel is his reluctance to follow the family business, instead he branched out and pursued his dreams of becoming a musician; a very, very successful one indeed.
With his career on a high, he’s got everything he could have possibly wanted… money that he’s made for himself, penthouse apartment, record contracts, awards, recognition… everything except the love of a good woman. That was something he hadn’t realised he wanted until everything with his younger brother Deklin had been going through with the love of his life.
When he stumbles into a small local music shop to buy a new guitar, he meets the beautiful, down-to-earth, bubbly assistant, Jae. Despite being a huge fan of his band, Holden, Jae initially doesn’t recognise him. Treating just like any normal customer, Jae is shocked and embarrassed when she finally realises who he is but without knowing it - Jae has given him exactly what he needed… normalcy.
After he leaves, Jae is struck by how incredibly sweet Damon had been, in spite of his fame, he was so unassuming and not at all arrogant.
Then tragedy strikes for Damon and his world is flipped on its head. With the sudden loss, his career is limbo. Jae reaches out to Damon and offers him friendship and a place to think. What she ends up getting is a whole lot more.
Soon they become almost inseparable, Damon completely under Jae’s bewitching spell. He can’t believe how much Jae has filled his life and whilst he’s still considering where his career is heading one thing he knows is that whatever path his life is on, he wants Jae to be a part of it.
Now, of course - the path of true love never does run smooth, and just when he thinks things are starting to sort themselves out Jae throws him a complete curve ball. What he doesn’t know is that Jae is under duress and her actions are not her own.
Really enjoyed this book. My only criticism is that it’s too short! I genuinely wanted more… definitely more Damon - who wouldn’t!?!
I love Damon and Jae’s relationship. They are so good for each other and even though the circumstances surrounding their coming together are a difficult, they find a way to lean on each other and the bring the best out of one another. I hope we get to see more about them in the last instalment. Time to meet the oldest, more serious Davin. Let’s see what he has to offer. With his interest in BDSM and the Fifty Shades style sex room Damon discovers at Davin’s mansion… something tells me that the serious brother is going to a have a rather delicious dark side.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
Damon is staying Las Vegas during his time off because he didn’t want to go back to Houston. Having to have his father berate him since he was a musician. He ran into Ivy at the bar he was happy she was there and had not left. Jamie was living in Houston with her sister and her son. Jamie worked at a little music store in the mall where she was hoping it was cool
out of the sweltering heat of Houston. Damon was the leader of the band and did most of the writing the songs. He was having a little bit of a trouble writing this song having to get the words right. Getting ready for their next gig all showed up at sound check Damon hoping he would get the inspiration to finish his song. They finished their last concert in Las Vegas and Damon was going back to Houston. Their was accident Kalini called Damon right away. When he got to the hospital Kalini found him and told him what happened. Bair was dead he was killed on impact the other to band mates were in bad condition. Jae delivered flower to Damon’s family business where she gave his brother flowers to deliver to Damon. Damon was glad when he read the card he decided to go back to the music store to thank them and see Jae. Damon shows up at Jae’s apartment when they wind up having sex. Damon came into the store to see her when he ex camping strolling in and tried to harass her. Starla her boss came in and took over the situation while Jae and I went to the back. Damon was taken by Jae not only her demeanor but how she made him feel. Kalini and Hawk came to see him with some news he was not really wanting to hear they were stepping away from the group. Damon knew he was getting use to being around Jae she had a way of soothing him. Also, with everything going he needed her with him. Meanwhile Jae was trying not to not loose her hearts. Her ex Spencer came into the shop and tried to rape her but then confessed he had raped her sister but no body would believe her. Damon went to Jae’s house to see her when Jamie let him in Jae was not home yet. Jae had broken up with Damon so Spencer would not go after Jamie or Kevin. Twists, turns and Love.

A Billionaire Rebel (The Holden Brothers 2)
I thought Book 1 was fantastic! It took me away from other books I was reading and an ARC Read. But then I saw there was a book 2 and of course I just had to keep going.
I was so glad I did. If the first book was fantastic this one is off the charts super fantabulous!
The book does open with a focus on Jude when he is younger just like the last book did. But then that was it, until the last page.
The rest of the book focuses on Damon. Damon chose not to go into the family business and started a country band, called Holden!
The band was meeting in Las Vegas before the concert. DAMON arrived super early to write. As each member arrived he realized that one of his members was over drinking because his marriage had just split apart. But he decided later.
They did their concert, and signatures. Then Damon had to leave early to fly home for his Granddad's wife's birthday. His friends would be arriving behind him in Houston, their home too.
I am going to stop there but suffice it to say I needed tissues.
I haven't introduced another main character because she gets introduced a bit later. So I won't.
I am going to say this.
That this book had alot of steamy erotica. It also has caring interactions with friends. It also has 2 beautiful love stories.
One between members of Holden with each other ad the other between Damon and the surprise!
Truly a MUST, MUST READ!
Although I don't share everything, this is one of the best romance books I have ever read!

Sometimes, tragedy opens new doors. Damon's passion was in making music, not the family business. He was indifferent to the ranch. Damon was humble about his musical talents. He was starting to feel the pressure from doing the majority of the writing. He was a bit stuck, not exactly writer's block, but writer's desert? His bandmates, Bair/drummer, divorced, crutched using drugs, former rancher looked like a biker; Kalini/string guru, first member recruited by Damon, only female; Hawk, secretly in love with Kalini; Otis/base, oldest SEAL with kids; Cathy is pregnant manager. His dad still wanted him in the family business. He felt Damon should babysit Delkin who recently graduated with his MBA. Damon constantly wished he was as close to his brothers as he was to his bandmates. After what was agreed as their best concert, ever. Damon went back to TX ahead of the band. Jae worked in a music store. Starla is her owner/boss. She lived with her 18 year old sister, Jamie and her two year old son, Kevin. The band suffered a tragedy on the way from the Houston airport. Damon, connected with Jae and she offered comfort and friendship. They shared a love of music and a few more things. How does Damon and the band recover from the tragedy? Do Jae and Damon go beyond comfort? Does Cathy have her baby? Does Damon get his songs completed? Jude is such a minx, Jude Ives? When Damon returns home early to Houston, he visits a local music store to purchase a new guitar for his songwriting. Jae works in the store but doesn’t immediately recognise Damon, until he makes his final purchase. Jae is embarrassed by her faux par as she is a huge Holden fan but she manages to keep it together. When tragedy later strikes Damon’s band members, Jae’s kindness leads the two of them back together again. Despite the circumstances surrounding their reunion, they hit it off as they are both similar in personality, both understanding and complimenting each other as they find themselves getting closer. Their chemistry is undeniable. The story is very well written and planned out with a creative storyline that overlaps with his brother Deklin’s story in parts.
The characters, both new and familiar are interesting and believable. An all round excellent read :-)

OK this story was truly even better than the first (jmo) this is the second brother.. Damon is a rock star who has a band ... and as the story progresses you find Damon struggles with wanting what's best for his band members who are like family to him and just as with the 1st book you have to get thru the first couple of chapters as you learn who is whom and what is going on with the characters...once the action happens and Jae who is the h becomes friends with Damon as an
unselfish no strings or expectations support that progresses into love. No hidden agendas, just a natural need for comfort that has Damon seeking more and more, against his nature, for Jae's company. In this story, enjoying the simple things together not only helped him but also helped Jae by putting Damon at the right place and right time when she would need him the most. This book has some surprises and a little bit of a plot twist that leaves you intrigued... and the ending is a shocker... so be sure to read this one too ... and Now I have to wait till Jan 31st doe Dazon's book.. uuugggg But truly an amazing read MS Parker..

Damon's band members are in a terrible accident. Fate/coincidence sends him seeking comfort from Jae. He's life takes a turn and presents itself with new options that he never thought he'd do.
Great story, great characters. There's so much more to the story than my review reveals. Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone, but you should read book 1 also. It's so good!

Oh wow, Damon was not what I was expecting! I figured seeing as he was the odd one out not joining the family business but becoming a rock star he was going to be a typical star, how wrong was I.
I actually loved Damon, he story with his band was great how they began and what they became whilst remaining great friends but then of course really sad, but then Jae came into his life and what a breath of sunshine she was for him, especially in his time of need, I loved their story, how their relationship developed, lots happening in this book and I’m not going to spoil it for anyone but it has a lovely ending, well sort of ending like the first book, and again with their grandad starting and ending the book, I cannot wait for the last book, think there’s going to a lot of answers coming but also Davin’s story and must admit to really looking forward to that one and hopefully getting an ending for all the brothers 😁

Shared passion of music and finding comfort in each others bodies
A Billionaire Rebel is the second book in The Holden Brothers series and I found this story to be more engaging and entertaining than the previous book in the series. This is the story of Damon Holden and Jae Knox who are quite opposite in a lot of ways but they share one passion, music. He is a member of a very successful country band that travels all over the world and she is a music store clerk in Houston. But somehow their paths are destined to cross during a very stressful time for Damon and the band after there is a car accident and two of the band members are injured. They start a relationship that is comforting for Damon but also for Jae as she is facing some of her own troubles. The question is whether their basis for a relationship can grow into something deeper and long term, maybe with an HEA.

The 2nd book of the Holden brothers is about Damon. He has nothing to do with the family business but is in music. Has founded his own band and lives the life of a star. But even though Damon is famous, his character is not harsh but caring and compassionate. When his band falls apart, he meets Jae, a saleswoman in a music store. She touches him the moment he needs a friend. Jae is that friend for him. She is ready for him and not as the famous guitar player that he is but as the man in grief. She helps him through this difficult period.
Jae's past requires her to make choices that also affect Damon. But he won't let her go without a fight.
Nicely written book with a completely different dynamic than in book 1. The chemistry is clearly felt and the end is surprising.

This is the story of Damon & Jae. These are wonderful characters, but sadness and grief is the base of their relationship. Innocent intentions lead to dependence on each other. Damon started a band and he writes songs and sings. Jae works in a music store. That's where they meet. Then tragedy strikes his band. Jae offers him comfort to get him through it. In the meantime, she has problems with her ex. A big surprise gets revealed, and things go from bad to worse. Everything comes to head and works out for the best. Great steamy scenes are in this story, with a lot of action and love that is eventually recognized. The first and last chapter are very different. Another surprise is in the last chapter with it leaving you with a cliff hanger. Moving on to the third book of this series.

Damon is the led of the band HOLDEN. Jae works at a music store. Damon walks in to get a new instrument and it shocked when he sees her. Jae helps him with his purchase, she has no clue who it is until she sees his name on his credit card. She is in shock to say the least. Something tragic happens to the band while coming home from a concert in Vegas. While Damon is at the hospital Jae delivers flowers to Holden Enterprises. After getting the flowers, Damon decides to go see the girl who sent the flowers. They start hanging out more & more with each other. Their feelings grow stronger & stronger for each other. I can't even give more of a review. Just read THE HOLDEN BROTHERS.

Better than book 1 but the end needs work.
Written in dual first person POV. Good amount of sexy times. More drama than book one (this book can be read as a standalone but there are some scenes/conversations from book one that the reader would have benefited from have prior knowledge of). The books starts off slow but does pick up. My issue with this book (as well as book 1) is that the entire book takes place in about 2 weeks and I just feel like the characters’ development would benefit if more time would pass before the end. Beyond that, the end isn’t satisfying (HFN) and then a cliffhanger-y chapter from Jude that isn’t related to the primary plot. I’ll still read book 3 because I hope to get some closure on this family.

Jae meets Damon at her job in a music store. Then a terrible tragedy changes Damon's life forever. Jae reaches out to Damon to offer comfort. He leans on Jae, and begins to learn to rely on someone. Their relationship grows more than either one expects. Unfortunately Jae's past comes back to hurt her and Damon. Can Jae protect her family? Will Damon just let Jae go, or is he willing to fight for her? You'll have to read this book to find out! I loved the continuation of the Holden family in this second book. Very steamy, and a little suspensful. Great read, and I can't wait for the next book!

This is the second book in the Holden Brothers series. I would recommend reading them in order as there are storylines that flow through the books.
I loved Damon and his drive to do what he wants in life. He's got a big heart for those close to him.
Jae lives with her younger sister and nephew. She loves to spend time with them. Her priorities are her family. She just wishes she could get rid of her ex, who won't quit harassing her.
M.S. Parker is a fantastic writer. She will suck you into Damon and Jae's world and make you feel their emotions. Damon and Jae have HOT chemistry.
I can't wait for the next book!

I have loved everything that I have read by M. S. Parker and I think that her writing is just getting better and better. I enjoyed the first book in this series and I love this one. The characters are so realistic that I would love to meet them in real life. The story arc that carries through this series is a fun way to link the the books together over and above the fact that they are brothers. The story to this one kept me so interested that I read it in one sitting. I highly recommend this book and this series.

This was so, so. Good! I loved it. A wonderful and well written storyline and the the characters were so realistic. Damon is the lead singer of the famous country band, Holden and Jae is the employee at the music store he stops in to buy a new guitar.The way these two meet is unique and when tragedy strikes his band, Jae is there to help him deal with the pain and loss of one of his band members. This is heartwarming, sweet, with suspenseful moments, and a deep passion between the two. I loved that Damon, with all his wrath and fame, was such a gentleman. Highly recommend this book.

This is the second book in this series and it’s about Damon and Jae. Damon is the one Holden brother that stepped away from the family business to do his own thing. He’s a famous musician in a band called Holden. He meets Jae when he goes into a music store to buy a new guitar. Jae serves him and at first doesn’t recognise him. A tragedy trikes and she reaches out to him to see if he’s ok. Damon and Jae are really good together, not only is there chemistry between them but they develop a friendship and support each other through everything they life throws at them. Really enjoyed their story.

I am loving this story. Damon and Jae are super sweet and sexy together. They make you jealous of their relationship. The chemistry is off the charts and felt throughout the story. The writing is fantastic and beautifully developed. The support characters are amazing and add so much to the story. I loved the little bit of mystery added to the story. We get to see some of the other characters from the first book. This is a must read that will not disappoint.

The bond that is created through tragedy is stronger than any other. And that is exactly what you will find here. In a nutshell, unselfish no strings or expectations support that progresses into love. No hidden agendas, just a natural need for comfort that has Damon seeking more and more, against his nature, for Jae's company. In this story, enjoying the simple things together not only helped him but also helped Jae by putting Damon at the right place and right time when she would need him the most. This book has some surprises and a little bit of a plot twist that leaves you intrigued.

The second book in The Holden Brothers series brings Damon and Jae's story. The author brings all the feels in this sweet and sexy romance and builds their relationship into more than either expected. She does a great job painting her scenes and pulls you in with all the emotions flowing throughout. Telling the story in the dual POV shows both of their thoughts and emotions and makes this a steamy read. I loved and would recommend this book.

A roller coaster of emotions; surprises, suspense secrets, twist and turns, passion, love, all of this and more wrapped up in this book. It is a well written, well-developed, consistent page-turner. The characters are deep, sweet, and strong; their chemistry is off the charts and so potent it is felt throughout the pages. The author did an overwhelming job with this story and I recommend it highly. I look forward to reading the next book!

Love from a tragedy comes for Damon and Jae after a horrid car crash leaves one dead and two injured. Neither Jae and especially Damon were looking for more than one night, but we don’t choose love, it chooses us. This is a sweet book with hints of BDSM and an easy read. Although it implies Damon is a rebel, really he is the most considerate and caring person and is perfect for Jae. Again there is a twist at the end but all should be revealed in the final story.

I was sucked in from the start and couldn’t let this book go. Damon and Jae were amazing together. Their story is emotional, sweet loving and sexy. When tragedy strikes these two come together not wanting anything more than one night, but nothing ever works out the way we think it will and the twist at the end will have you wanting more. Great Read
This was another great read from M. S. Parker. She knows how to keep you interested. This is the 2nd book in this series and it is all about Damon. Even though he has to go through some bad things with his band he does come out on top. Jae is an employee in a music store that captures his heart plus goes through some crap of her own. This one will have you turning the pages as fast as you can read
