Really enjoyable 2nd book of hopefully a long series (Alessandro get writing). Very Italien, touch-feely, sensitive, sometimes macho detective, very different from my favorites Rebus, Wallander, Thorpe etc.
At least half of the book is about the wonderful location of lago de Garda or as us Germans say Gardasee. Hope this will be translated into English soon, as I am sure this author could wobble Donna Leon's top seat in Italian crime fiction for the world.

An exciting thriller in the region of Lake Garda in northern Italy. If you know the Alps, you can very well imagine how people tick in the remote valleys and thanks to Lake Garda, the Mediterranean feeling, with all the fine food, is not neglected.
A dead man is found in his apartment in a small village in a side valley of Lake Garda. He was literally executed. He is holding a book that says there will be more murders. Soon the journalist Luca and the inspector Tomasio Giancarlo have to find out that everything will happen because another murder is already happening. Who is behind it? And what is the cause?
