Brilliant and heartwarming. Reading this was utter enjoyment.
This story makes you believe that, no matter what bagage you carry, there is someone out there who will love you to pieces. And if you’re very, very lucky, it could be someone like Evan.
You know, I told myself I was going to read for half an hour before doing all the important stuff. Turns out that to finish reading the story WAS the important stuff. The writing’s perfect: you are aware Tess has PTSD, that something traumatizing happened to her when she was 19, but you don’t get it spelled out for you until the end of the story. Still, I totally didn’t feel like too much information was missing to enjoy the storyline. Loved, loved, loved it.
