If we all had to agree on one thing, I think it would be that Askiya needs to be saved. Such a beautiful woman, yet she has dealt with so many ugly things in life at the hands of one man. We know that Sky is strong. If we take into consideration what she has been through for the past seven years with Slim, I’ll say that she’s powerful, but Askiya has to know that she’s powerful. She has to know that she has a beautiful little girl that she birthed two years ago and that it’s not too late for her to start over.
Then, we have Antoinette and Major. They are such a beautiful black couple with such a beautiful marriage, beautiful kids, and they’re both successful. Only thing is, their marriage has hit a snag. Well, at least it has for Antoinette. This fan who is after her husband will not stop. She’s going out of her way to get Antoinette out of the picture. After years of marriage, years of love, will Antoinette allow this crazed fan to ruin what she has with her husband?

Good Story
Although this was a good book. You are truly DDDRRAAANNNGGGGIINNNGGGG this book out. Hence the ⭐⭐⭐.This seriously could have been a two book. I guess you're trying to make them coins. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. Still gone read part 3 because I'm already invested.

Unnecessary read
This is the second installment of a trilogy that should have been told in one book. The author spends too much time retelling book one. There is too much time spent filling in gaps with information not needed which did nothing more than create disruptions in the flow of the story. There are a few storylines that are founded in inconsistent acts by the characters. A street dude turned a successful businessman that doesn’t seem to know that you don’t leave an enemy behind even though he was told not to do so by other men who knew the laws of the street.
A sister who recognizes that her older sister who she considered smart was used and abused by her pimp tries to work for the same pimp. A sister whose judgments about other women being used by men allowed a man to take her virginity within minutes of meeting him without a condom. A sister who is determined to hurt her older sister who made sacrifices for her and filled in while their biological mother came in and out of their lives while deferring her parental responsibilities to her mother and eldest minor child. The result is this reader not being invested in too many characters. Brielle’s anger towards Sky reeks of ungratefulness and further demonstration of the author's lazy writing. In short, a better plotline would have better served the book and fostered reader satisfaction.
Intelligent (book knowledge and street smarts) and successful (millionaires with long term marriage with evident devotion ) couple allow themselves to be victimized rather than striking an offensive stance to protect themselves, their marriage, and their children. The stalker has the means to control electronics: manufacture video events, capture them having sex, prevent cellphone access (phone not charged that is usually charged) who has been contacting your phone to send frequent disturbing messages who leaves a package on your doorstep where your children reside and your response is to lash out at your partner.
This book prompts way too many eye rolls for enjoyment.

Beautiful!
This is such a beautiful story from beginning to end. It is beautiful that Sky is seeing the beauty between her and Huncho and the beauty of the First Lady. She is truly a God fearing woman to protect and raise Skylar for Sky is such an act of agape love. Hoping Brielle get herself together mentally and spiritually to fix the issue within herself and her sister. I'm really hoping Nette is okay. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

ANOTHER GREAT READ
Picked up right where the last installment left off with drama and more drama. Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending....SPEECHLESS. I so love Sky and Huncho together. But I think the situation with Skykar was kinda rushed and unrealistic, but glad they were reunited. Now, Nett is getting on my nerves about Major, she's not thinking she needs to trust her husband. Maybe, now Brielle will think and work things out with Sky. I know the next installment will be a explosive conclusion and I couldn't wait to see how it all unfolds. Another great job Diamond Johnson.

A lot more action in here... Lots of different emotions being played out... And some very big decisions... The only issues that I have with these books is that I feel like there is way to much detailing about what everyone is wearing all the time... That does draw away for the storyline for me... Also some things just keep getting repeated... Especially when someone is telling the next person about the events that happened... Instead of saying I told them how things played out... It repeats things all over again... I am like okay got it I already read this so why do I need to keep reading it... and it definitely draws away from the storyline or to me it stops the flow because I try to skip everything that I already read... other than that.. The storyline is pretty good...
I was so glad to see that Sky was finally able to escape and finally find some happiness... Even though her freedom came with other life changing events... She basically had to start all over and she had no one really left for her to continue to fight for... I mean her being free didn't necessarily mean that everything would be perfect for her... But with Huncho... Things were a little easier to handle...
As for Brielle... She was just way to much and being very selfish... She was blaming Sky for everything bad that has transpired in her life... She really needs to look at everything Sky tried to do all her life for her... But nope Brielle is being stubborn and acting out... And them Boom... Now look at what she got herself into... Now who is she going to blam... Because Sky was not around and Brielle just ignored her grandmother's words... So now this is a lesson learned... Don't be weak now... You had all the answers and all that mouth... So pull yourself out of this one...
I knew Slim was going to lose everything... He just kept moving funny and treating Sky like crap... Now everything that he has done is now catching up to him... I don't get how these people do not see that he is quickly losing everything and his promises to pay them will not happen... Now he has this whole plan on how he will get back at Huncho... But will it really work... Especially now that Huncho has finally found what he never knew he needed...
Antoinette is doing way to much with her husband Major... She is letting this lady take over her household and about to cause her to lose everything... But why after all this time is Antoinette letting someone get to her like this... Now look at what she has allowed to happen within her household... And here I thought she was stronger than this...
As for Huncho's sister Tiana she just keeps bringing drama to his doorstep... I mean he has tried so hard to help her... An now that he has finally came to the decision to wash his hands of the situation... She gets herself caught up in this situation amd now Huncho has to figure out who's life is more important to him... Plus Tiana already gave up on her life but now she wants to fight for her life...and she needs Huncho to put everything on the line to help her... Well let's see what decision he will make...
Well onto part 3 to see how everything will finally play out... Will lives be lost... Will relationships end... Will the crazy people finally get the help that they need...

Loved book 2
Book 2 had me excited to see what was in store on the next page. This blossoming love story between Sky and Huncho is really cute. I appreciate how Huncho is taking his time. He didn’t rush Sky into anything and he genuinely wanted to save her. I just pray they can live happily ever after and finally get Slim out of the picture. Right now Huncho is left with a huge decision. Who does he choose? His sister who has been ghost or the woman he has fallen in love with?
As far as Nette & Major the fan is a nutcase. They need to handle that ASAP. Book 2 left us with Nette’s life hanging in the air. The question is will she make it? Her and Major said some hurtful things just mere minutes before the accident hopefully it’s not to late to take it back. Brielle is such a lost cause right now. She needs her sister more than anything and hopefully by book 3 she’ll come around. She’s been taking her frustrations out on her sister not knowing her sister would literally lay down and die for her. Hopefully she grows up.

Real One Indeed!!!
I swear Diamond is a freaking GENIUS. I love this book from beginning to end. Huncho is BAE he's man of all man, I loved the way he saved Sky without even knowing her that well and I love the fact that they took things slow to get where they are now. My favorite part was when he heard Sky praying about Skylar and asked her about the baby and she told him and the first thing he said was "get dressed and let's go see her" that there showed what type of man he was, on her side regardless. Mannnnnnn I hope Nette is okay and once she and Major finds out who's stocking them they get Ariel crazy a$$. So ready for part 3 to see what it has to bring but I know it's nothing but greatness. Great read

Confused
Ok..I don’t even know where to begin. When i started reading this book I was so confused. It was like a completely different person wrote this book. I literally skipped majority of the book. I felt like it had a lot of unnecessary parts that was not needed. I honestly don’t know why there was even a second part & just knowing that there’s a third part is coming is even worse. This author is definitely dragging this series out. I would have to say the first book is 10 times better than this one. It’s like the author just wanted to hurry up & get this book out. Definitely disappointed that I wasted my time on this one.

This book will have you on the edge of your seat
I’m happy that Huncho stood up for Sky and let raggedy Slim know Sky won’t be his property anymore I like how he didn’t judge her all he wanted to do is save her and show her that she had so much potential besides being in the streets. I love how Skylar and Sky reconnected and I can see they love each other and there isn’t nothing that can break their bond. It’s sad that Huncho sister is coping with the loss of her mom with drugs now it will cost her life because Slim will do anything to get Sky back but it won’t happen because Huncho is a man of his world he will protect Sky, Skylar and his sister at any cost

Omg!! This started with the drama and to be continued with the drama. My girl Sky said it would come down to this but Huncho is a real one and don't seem like to make promises he can't keep. Now I am soooo in my feelings about Major and Nette but it's like real situations because Major telling one thing but a crazy psychotic person doing everything in her power to show different. We see both sides but Nette don't. Hopefully they all make it thru the rough patch happening!! Great part 2 for real... it showed a different side to all the characters and as always it's good to have the cameos from our other favorite characters!!!

It’s about to get more JUICY!!!!
I’m sooo happy for Sky but I’m scared at the same time. I hope Huncho know his next move because while I don’t want his sister to get hurt, I don’t want anything to happen to sky. She is finally living her best life and she has Skylar back. Huncho is definitely a dream come true. Brielle, I don’t really feel to bad for her because she was walking around like she knew everything and like she was grown. Ewww Slim gets on my nerves. Just let Sky be happy for once. Leave her alone and go find you someone else to be be the face of your organization. I’m so happy Hucho rescued sky plus I was ecstatic when sky went to see her baby girl and sis smith ask her was she ready to take her home. I was jumping for joy because I wanted Skylar back with her mom. I wonder from that ending how it’s gonna play out. Old girl is sick in the head and major wife should’ve listened to him. I hope she is ok and make a full recovery. So ready for part 3.

I’m just ready for him to go already. Part 2
I must say that I’ve been hooked to this book from beginning to the end. Now I’m more upset that I have to wait for part 3 to come out. I’m happy that Huncho got ole girl out of the predicament she was in. It was like watching a movie and bringing it to life. Slim is a sick mf that doesn’t sees his wrong, even after his cousin prince told him what’s what. I can’t wait for part 3 to come and hopefully this will be the last book if not I ain’t buying it until all of them drop ijs. Welp until then patiently waiting.

I gave it a 3 just for y’all readers to know it a 5 lol, this second part is as gd as the first one, shy is a girl that just got caught up in a situation, money talked and bullshit walked, there’s no judging on my part, towards her. I gave it a 3 just for y’all readers to know it a 5 lol, this second part is as gd as the first one, shy is a girl that just got caught up in a situation, money talked and bullshit walked, there’s no judging on my part, towards her. When I tell you Brielle is working my last nerve!!!…Her anger is soooooo misplaced and she is definitely an example of a girl looking for love in all the wrong places!!!…I’m sooooo glad that Sky has her baby girl and Honcho at her side!!!…She is definitely one to look out for because her glow-up is going to be AWESOME!!!…My heart is breaking for Antionette because this crazy person is definitely playing with her emotions!!!…

This part was something serious. Very sad about her grandma and Brielle she is definitely something else and trying to be someone she's not she needs to try being herself and not look for all the wrong things. By her doing that she got herself in a bad situation looking stupid. I hope huncho can save both and not have to choose I know if he has to choose it definitely will be hard especially when one is ya blood.

Man the way this book just flowed from part one was awesome. I’m so glad Sky has her Daughter and her life is looking up I know Huncho not gonna let harm comes to her or Skylar. Sadly i hope the incident with Brielle us awake up call. And can’t wait for Slim to get his!! Impatiently waiting on part 3♥️

Parts 2 picked up right where 1 left off. It’s crazy how these pimps seem to be so weak yet so powerful over the women. I love Huncho and Sky. Her world has already improved 10 fold with him. Their sisters are just going to bring them both down. Tiana and Brielle are nothing but trouble and it’s hard to tell if saving them is worth it! I hope Antionette is ok!

Lord.....why...... that ending tho. The deeper I get into the book the more in love I fall with the characters! Diamond you never let us down! My heart goes out to Sky glad she has huncho in her corner! Brielle just learns what being stubborn gets her😢! Are we going to find out where Byrd is in book 3? The book just gets better n better!

Loved it!
I’m so loving this series! Huncho is def bae. I’m so happy that sky is finally breaking out her she’ll and getting back to feeling normal again. Brielle is just working on my last nerves this book and I’m sick of her and the way she keep pushing her sister away. I will be glad when they reconnect. I can’t wait to see what happens next. A must read!
