This series keeps getting better and better.
3 years ago Freddie and his brother were sent to prison and they are now getting out. Freddie is head king pin in London and now that he is out he is ready to get back to his business. While he was locked up his ex, Anna, took over and is not ready to let go. She still wants some say in the business. Anna has become cold since taking over and is not the same person she was. Can these 2 get past what has happened and find themselves back to each other. That was all I wanted to know through the whole book. Emma Tallon makes you love these characters despite their businesses. They take care of family and those that work for them and are loyal. I always hate when I have to wait for a new book to come out.

Freddie and Paul Tyler have just been released from prison. Anna had stepped in to take over his businesses while he was away. But now he's back home, there's a rift between them that's not going to be easy to repair. Anna had also taken care of Ethan, Freddie's son. There's also the Russian gangster who is on a mission to take down the Tyler's empire and run it for himself.
What a fantastic series this is. Freddie, Paul, Anna and Tanya are the main characters in this series and you can't help but like them. Freddie and Anna are the perfect couple but their time apart has drove a wedge between them. Anna is reluctant to hand back the businesses. I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading this book. There were lots of twists I never saw coming. Emma Tallon knows how to write an exciting and gripping page turner then leaves you with a cliff hanger. How naughty is that! I hate a cliff hanger! I need to know what happened now! Please Emma, don't make us wait too long.

Fearless Girl is the sixth instalment of this gritty gangland series, however, it is not necessary to have read the previous books in order to understand or enjoy this as Ms Tallon gives plenty of background for new readers. That being said, this series is so damn good you will likely want to go back and read the others. Freddie and Paul Tyler have been incarcerated for almost three years for drug possession and are about to be released. They are hoping that those left in charge of their many business ventures have managed to keep the money rolling in. But much has changed since they were the helm of their empire and Freddie’s on-off girlfriend, Anna, feels she has kept the businesses afloat almost singlehandedly and does not want to hand the power back over to Freddie. After taking a look at the books he believes the discrepancies mean Anna and been skimming money from the businesses and doesn't think he can trust her any longer because of it. Not only that but a Russian mobster is zeroing in on the Tyler’s turf and is hellbent on taking over Soho so they must watch their backs.
This is an absolutely riveting and explosive gangland tale with so much tension and suspense throughout. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough and raced through it in a single sitting. The animosity and lack of trust between Anna and Freddie created a lot of excitement and had my heart thumping as you can sense the volatility. There is plenty of the action we have come to expect from Tallon and the way it is written grabs and grips you from the first few pages before spitting you out at the very end. One of the standout aspects of this book (and series) is that despite the fact that the cast of characters is full of criminals who reside in the murky London underworld you can't help but be engaged by them and like them as people who are loyal to a fault when it comes to family. It's an addictive and thoroughly absorbing and gritty read with plenty going on to keep you captivated. This is often gruesome and grisly with many twists and turns and a cliffhanger conclusion that has you pining for the next book. Highly recommended. Many thanks to Bookouture for an ARC.

The Tyler’s are back in this the 6th book in the series, it was great to be back with Anna and Tanya, Freddie, Paul, Molly and all the gang
Although this is the 6th in the series it can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone

This is book #6 of the Tyler family series. I have followed the series from the beginning, but you don’t need to have read them all in order to read this one, although I would recommend that you do as it’s a great series. We return to Anna and Freddie’s gangland world a few years on from the last book. Freddie is just about to be released from prison, ready to take back over the business that Anna has been running for him whilst he has been inside. Things have changed however, and Anna isn’t ready to hand over the business to him quite so quickly…
I have loved this series and was shocked at the end of the previous book when Freddie is sent to prison. Obviously, he deserved it, but I did wonder where that would leave the series as Freddie is a big part of it. As we can now see, the book picks up the pieces three years later just as Freddie is about to be released. I love Freddie’s character and would liken him to a loveable rogue, although I think maybe rogue isn’t the right word for him as he’s a lot more dangerous than that suggests!! Everything was up in the air at the end of the previous book, and I was initially glad to see that Anna decides to not just hold all the businesses together but to also start new ones. However, as the book moved on, I began to wonder whether I liked the ‘new’ Anna! She has always been a tough, strong woman, but she seemed a lot ‘harder’ now and I didn’t really like the way she wasn’t ready to let Freddie take back over his business. You can understand her point of view as she had been looking after his businesses as well as her own, but considering their relationship I thought things may have fallen back into place a lot easier!
The story continues with Anna dealing with a diamond smuggling enterprise of her own, along with her new ally Roman Gains, and with Freddie struggling to reclaim his businesses and his relationship. The tension and suspense throughout the storyline were gripping and the violence steps up a notch with the new Russian gangster on the scene. I love the gangland storylines and although it’s scary what levels of violence they will go to, as a storyline it keeps you glued to every page. Of course, there’s not just the ‘business’ side of the story which keeps you hooked, but the ‘personal’ side. Anna and Freddie were always the perfect couple, and it just wasn’t right to see them being so deceitful and distrusting of each other!
As like other books in the series, I loved this one and once started I couldn’t put it down. There is lots of violence and criminal activity, but there are also great side stories and new characters which reel you straight in. It was great to be re-introduced to Freddie’s son and I loved the new character of Josephine, the manager of Anna’s new venture. These storylines, plus others, must surely mean they will be carried on in future books in this series! I certainly hope so, as I cannot do without my gangster fix for too long! Great storyline, fantastic series, fabulous characters! Would definitely recommend!

Of all the gangland series currently being written, Emma Tallon’s series featuring Anna and Freddie is by far one of my favourites. It’s a favourite for many reasons but two of the main ones are the characters and their development. It really is fantastic to look back at these characters when we first met them in Runaway Girl and compare them to where they are here in Fearless Girl. None more so than Anna who is just a joy to read about. Emma Tallon is a brilliant storyteller and each and every one of her books I have read has had me enthralled. I don’t know how successful her books are in terms of sales, but they are equally as good as the gangland series that make the Sunday Times Top 10 every year and should be read by everyone who loves this genre.
I particularly liked how instead of dragging things out we literally jump forward to Freddie and Paul being released from prison, into a world that is so different to the one they left behind. Not least because Anna is now running the show and is virtually unrecognisable to Freddie in some ways, but in others she is still the person he left behind; the love of his life. It was such a fascinating dynamic to witness this power play between these two characters, characters we have followed and seen fall in love together and build a life together, only for it to then be torn apart. As Freddie learns what’s happened while he’s been behind bars, so too do we the readers, and it makes for truly gripping reading. I loved this line: ‘She was the first enemy he had ever come across who he didn’t know how to fight.’ With danger from all corners and, in Freddie’s eyes now possibly from within, Emma keeps the reader on their toes with some rollercoaster-worthy twists and turns.
I have always had a fear that this series could become repetitive, oftentimes in this genre with the series books it’s often the case of a new enemy comes along, the main characters beat them and come out on top and then at the end of the book another new enemy is teased. And actually that is not dissimilar to what happens in these books but for me, the realism of these characters and the gripping stories that Emma tells have stopped it from coming across as repetitive. The relationships in the series, not just between Anna and Freddie but in the friendships with Tanya and all of the other characters are what keep me eagerly turning the pages and wanting to know what happens next. After six books these are characters I feel that I know, and characters that I don’t want to stop reading about for a long time to come. These characters don't feel like cardboard cutouts of what characters in this genre should be, but actual real characters with unique personalities.
Emma does a fantastic job of truly immersing the reader into these stories. They are vivid reads with characters with feelings that are palpable. There are some scenes in this book that had me feeling like I was in the room with the characters, sharing their hurt and pain, most of them scenes being between Anna and Freddie because their relationship makes for some truly intense reading that almost makes you want to look away but there’s never a chance of that happening because I couldn’t read quick enough to see how things would unfold. I have always enjoyed this series because of the realism and believability of its characters and as fantastic as the stories always are, for me it’s these characters that shine through and make me want to keep reading.
Emma Tallon is a real talent and is one of the best authors writing in this genre today. She is a must read author for me, one of those authors who I will immediately drop everything (even the book I'm currently reading) for once I've got my hands on her latest book. This series is easily one of the best gangland series out there and for those that are yet to read these books, I can’t recommend them enough. And for those who are about to pick up Fearless Girl and continue this series, Emma does not disappoint with this latest instalment. I cannot wait for the next one. Also, be sure to read the Author’s Note when you have finished the story. I’ll say no more other than that. Now the agonising wait for the next book begins.

Since the authors previous novel, I have been desperate to catch back up with Anna and Freddie to see how things have been with Freddie, along with his brother Paul, being sent to prison.
Wow, wow, wow, wow! I so wasn’t expecting such a volatile and explosive read. Things are insanely intense between Anna and Freddie as they try to find some happy medium of picking up where they left off, work wise. It was agonising seeing this once so close and loving couple being at complete loggerheads. My heart was in my mouth as to where the author was going to take this particular thread and I read on with some trepidation.
As with all this authors novels, there is plenty of crime and action along the way. In an under world of lies and deceit, it is a very scary place to be that leaves you constantly looking over your shoulder. You can guarantee the competition are never going to play nicely which made for an edge of your seat read.
Fearless Girl is a tense and gripping page turner. My only ever issue is that the author leaves me desperate for more. My heart was racing at the end of the novel, wondering what is next in store for the characters. I was literally hanging off every word, waiting to see how the author was going to play things out and boy does she mess with your head. Please, please, please don’t keep us waiting to long for the next one!

Wow Emma Tallon has done it again. With this next episode in the Tyler series. This is a brilliant read.
It’s been three years since Freddie Tyler has been in prison with his brother Paul. Since he has been gone. Anna has taken over the reins and run the businesses and has taken care of his son Ethan. Taken care of him like he was her own. She loves him and will do anything for him. Ethan is a little bit nervous of this father coming home but, Anna reassures him everything is alright. Even though she herself is apprehensive. Freddie is going to want to have his businesses back but, Anna is not happy to just give them back. She still wants to be part of the businesses and help run them.
So, when Freddie comes back things are not straightforward, and he starts unravelling the hard work Anna has done. Also, there is another gangster in town, that wants to get in on the Tyler’s turf.
This is another action packed, exciting, thrilling read from Emma Tallon. She does not disappoint. The author knows how to write a story and keep it fresh for each episode and I love how she teases you will a little snippet of what is going to in the next episode, right at the end. I loved it.

I am still bouncing up and down. I just want to shout it from the rooftops how totally marvelous this book is!
Reading this series is absolute heaven. You not only think all your Christmases have come at once, it's actually really happening.
It's a gangland series and each and every story is a priceless jewel.
I often like main characters in books, but I fell deeply in love with Freddie and the feeling is still growing. I will be in deep mourning when I will be forced to say goodbye to him. I really really really hope the author still has buckets of inspiration for another big pile of sequels.
Freddie is not the only great protagonist. The author has created a whole bunch of steely key players, but under this rock-hard exterior there is a warm heart that beats full of love for and loyalty to their 'family'.
I just finished the book, but am already counting down to the next one. Keep them coming, please. 5 stars.

It's a gangland series and each and every story is a priceless jewel.
I often like main characters in books, but I fell deeply in love with Freddie and the feeling is still growing. I will be in deep mourning when I will be forced to say goodbye to him. I really really really hope the author still has buckets of inspiration for another big pile of sequels.
Freddie is not the only great protagonist. The author has created a whole bunch of steely key players, but under this rock-hard exterior there is a warm heart that beats full of love for and loyalty to their 'family'.
I just finished the book, but am already counting down to the next one. Keep them coming, please. 5 stars.

Another fantastic book in this highly addictive series.
I love each and every one of the main characters and picking up this series is like catching up with old friends.
Freddie and Paul have served their time, and whilst they were inside Anna and Tanya have been running the businesses. They’ve also been there for Ethan, who needed some stability.
Anna has changed over the two and half years that Freddie was inside and she’s had to make some tough decisions. She’s not sure of her feelings when he comes out and so they kind of give each other some space for a while.
Freddie then makes a discovery and is so furious with Anna, that he can’t see past it.
This leads to even more tension between the two of them and others are worried for their future.
Freddie and the team have a new enemy on their radar and after a very close call, they’re out for revenge against the Russian mobster.
There is so much happening in this book that I didn’t want to put it down as I just wanted to know what happened next.
This is a gritty, addictive gangland crime thriller which I highly recommend. Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Whenever I hear Emma Tallon has a new book coming out in this brilliant gangland crime thriller, I don’t even need to read the blurb as there is no doubt in my eye that it’ll be a fantastic read. So I eagerly started this latest book and yes it was absolutely fantastic. I devoured this book in a few days and loved the story and all the characters. Just brilliant.

I was on tenterhooks hoping that the two could come back together again and literally read this book from cover to cover in one sitting. I cannot wait to see what else Ms. Tallon has in store for Anna and Freddie as well as their family and friends.

I think I can say that Emma Tallon is now my favourite gangland author. Even though this is the first I have read in this series, I really don’t feel as if I was left hanging as this author has written Fearless Girl with explanations of the past books in the series, in fact, once I really got into this book, which was right away, not once did I feel lost, so Fearless Girl can definitely be read as a standalone, but I do regret not having started from the beginning because this was just sooooo good.
Fearless Girl hits all the right spots for me, ruthless gangsters, loyal family members, romance as well as an excellent storyline.
Freddie and his brother Paul are released from prison, having served a few years while Freddies’s girlfriend (ex), Anna Davies is looking after the family business as well as his young son. Freddie returns home to a much tougher and more capable Anna, who has run the show better than even she expected..... can life now ever be the same ??
I have no idea what to read after this exciting and gripping fast paced gangland thriller
Emma Tallon is a rare talent in this genre and has taken the throne in my opinion.
It is going to be a long wait for the next book.

I LOVE the books in this series so when I saw that there was another book being released I jumped at the chance to get my hands on a copy – and it was SO worth it!
The pace for the book is excellent, the suspense builds up through the book and I found myself completely addicted and I was flying through the story. The plot is well developed with plenty of content and I was hooked right from the start.
The characters are so well developed, they are genuine and believable and that for me is one of the reasons that makes the books by this author so enjoyable!
It is the sixth book in the series but it can easily be read as a stand-alone – the author has a brilliant writing style and I really recommend this one – check it out – I don’t think you will be disappointed at all!
It is 5 stars from me for this one, I thought that it was a well-developed story and I will definitely be looking out for more books from the author in the future – she is a brilliant writer!

Freddie and Paul are out of prison .but everything has changed Anna is in control and she does not want to step down from the business Freddie does not trust her and they have a big problem with the Russians .you never get bored with this series this author always delivers gritty addictive so cant wait for next book I so recommend this series

Wow I definitely wasn’t expecting a volatile and explosive read. The publishers are spot on, if you’re a Martina Cole fan you will absolutely love this book. I didn’t realise that this was part of a series, it has made me add other books by this author to my increasing TBR list.

I told author Emma Tallon, I'd read her previous books first to better understand the characters and gain some context. Sorry its taken so long.
Freddie and Paul are preparing for their imminent release from prison. Freddie's underworld empire has been run by Anna for two and a half years, and now he wants it all back. But is she prepared to simply hand over the reins and walk away?
Their relationship in ruins, can Anna face the loss of the business, and Freddie's who she thinks of as her own?
And who is the Russian, trying to muscle in on Freddie's territory?
I'm glad I read Fearless Girl's predecessors first, as the characters and their backstories felt so familiar to me. The book is a well written crime thriller which I found difficult to put down. There were a few situations where I found my suspension of disbelief stretched slightly, but they came out of it well. There are the usual red herrings and twists to keep you guessing, and although I figured out somebody's identity early on, it was still satisfying to see it confirmed in print.
Overall I think this is the best Tyler family story so far and cannot wait to read the next installment Ruthless Girl on its release. I happily recommend Fearless Girl to any crime thriller reader, but do encourage you to read the series.

Yippee another instalment in the life of Freddie and Anna and the 6th overall and what an absolute belter of a follow up…. Having been left with the cliff hanger of Freddie and Paul being arrested at their sister’s funeral, charged and imprisoned, you are left wondering where does the Tyler family go from here…..
It’s now been three years since Freddie & Paul went to prison and Anna has thrived in those years heading up and taking control of Freddie’s empire until his release albeit at the expense of her relationship with Freddie which broke down whilst in prison…. Anna has always avoided the unlawful side of Freddie’s business choosing herself to stay legit with her nightclubs, however, the murky underworld is now hers to reign and as you would have no doubt, did an amazing job but now with Freddie’s release, does he just expect to waltz back in and take it all back from Anna??? Can they salvage their relationship and both parent young Ethan?
As is always the case, there is never a dull moment when it comes to the Tylers... you are kept submerged in their lives from page 1 and if you’re like me and have been invested from the getgo, you will devour it in the blink of an eye, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Freddie, Anna, Tanya and all encompassed with the Tylers, I feel personally invested in their saga and am never left disappointed.
If you chose to read one new series during this lockdown crisis… I highly recommend you invest in this series, you won’t be left disappointed, only wanting more…..

Fearless Girl, oh wow!
I'll be honest and say that this is not the normal book I would choose. Gangster and underworld crime fiction is not really a genre that I would consider but I was convinced by the reviews of the other books by Emma Tallon!
Freddie and Paul Tyler are due to be released from prison and are keen to take over the family businesses that have been carefully managed by Freddie's one time love Anna in his absence. She has also been raising his son Ethan and is devoted to him due to being unable to have children herself.
Once released, Freddie needs to assert his dominance over the underworld but faces a challenge from Russian boss Aleksei. And his relationship with Anna is fraught with tension: can they rekindle their love or is the trust gone forever?
The misunderstanding between Anna and Freddie that prevents them from rekindling their love is frustrating as we can see their emotional reaction to each other. All of the characters are brilliantly believable and three dimensional which makes you care about them.
The plot was fast paced and there are moments of violence but this is outweighed by the clever characterisation and emotional side to the narrative. The author gives us touches of misdirection so that we are also uncertain about which characters we can trust and this builds the tension as events unfold.
I was instantly hooked by this book. Fearless Girl works perfectly well as a standalone novel but I can guarantee that, like me, you will want to chase down the previous books in the series!

The latest brilliant instalment in the Tyler series and Emma Tallon has done it again - another edge of your seat page turner that’s full of heart.
This book is set 2 1/2 years after the end of Reckless Girl’s ending and it introduces the reader to the new world without giving everything away up front. The tale twists and turns between the private and professional lives of the Tyler’s, Anna and Tanya with the usual nail biting surprises, hard edged grit and hilarious back and forth conversations we have come to know and love Tallon for. But as with the others in this series this book is packed with surprises and real plot and character development that is undoubtedly establishing the Tyler series as one of the exceptional crime series of our time.
I am so in love with all of these characters and they really progress and develop in each book. Turning out six unique stories for the same characters is astonishing and will surely see Tallon listed as one of the great crime writers of our generation.

I love this continuing gangland story about Anna and Freddie.
With Freddie Tyler and his brother Paul being in prison Anna Davis, his girlfriend has been left in sole charge of his group of men, businesses and money, but more importantly his young son Ethan with whom she adores as if he is her own. She has managed brilliantly even introducing some added benefits. Now they are out and things are about to change. Their relationship which was once so close and loving is now volatile and has lost its trust. Anna still wants to be a part of the operation, but will Freddie have other ideas?
With the threat of a Russian gangland boss trying to take over their turf things turn nasty and they have a battle on their hands.
Emma Tallon certainly knows how to keep her readers entertained and on the edge of their seats. Such a thrilling, excellent book, I can't wait to read the next instalment. I hope we don't have to wait too long.

Another instalment in this series! At the end of the last book the police had stormed Thea’s funeral to arrest Freddie and Paul Tyler on drugs charges. This book starts 3 years on during lead up to their long awaited release from prison. Many things have changed in their absence namely Anna having taken control of their underworld business and having sole custody of Freddie’s son, Ethan.
Many tensions are borne out as Anna is unwilling to just hand over her reign over the businesses and both are questioning if they are still in love with each other. Throw into the mix a Russian gangster who is determined to topple the Tyler’s and take everything for himself.

WOW What an addictive this book was and as Anna,Tanya,Ethan,Mollie and the crew await the release of Freddie and Paul from prison.Anna has been running all Freddies businesses for him while he has been away and not sure how they will move on with each other also Anna is determined to remain in business but she knows Freddie won't like that.As they are all at Mollies house waiting for the brothers Anna's nerves are on edge and she knows Ethan is very wary of his dad,but after a chat with him Anna is happy that he seems ok.To say this book had me gripped is an understatement as Emma Tallon writes a BRILLIANT story that has you wanting more if i could i would give this book more than 5* Well done to Emma Tallon you nailed it again girl.I now look forward to the next book.

Fearless Girl is part of the Tyler family series, having said that, I've not read any books by this author before, and it did not effect my reading of this book, could easily be read as a stand-alone book.

Fantastic read
Wow this book was brilliant from start to finish. Freddie and Paul get out of prison everyone is excited but so much has changed since they went away. Anna along with Tanya have kept the business going and thriving in their absence so the boys have a lot to catch up on. The Russian gangsters have moved into their area but they want more so things turn really nasty for Freddies mob. Will they be able to cope with this , will it all be to much for them? If you have read the previous books in the series, you will definitely love this one. I was a little lost, not having read all of the previous books, but I can see that the author did a fantastic job of continuing the epic story of the gritty Tyler crime family. Bloody amazing read again
What an incredible read again from this very very talented author and it just doesn't matter how many of these you read it never gets boring or the same because from the very first chapter your hooked and just can't seem to put it down and I can't wait for the next book to come out because I think I've read them all now 😱....

🎧 This series just keeps getting better and better. Emma Tallon has such a way of writing her characters that you love them despite their lifestyles and business’s. This one plays out a little different and I was apprehensive with all the twists and turns that life as I knew it was going to change within my underworld family. Yet again there is never a dull moment with many the heart stopping antics. Yet another great listen and I can’t wait to get stuck into the next instalment but sadly it’s the last in the series 😢…

It just keeps getting better this series! It seems like I waited so long to delve back into the life's of the Tyler's. Freddie and Paul are out of prison and ready to take back the reigns of the London underworld once more but as always there's always someone in the background ready to cause trouble. Another fantastic installment of this absolutely brilliant gangland thriller! I can't even describe how much I love these books.

Another gripping read from Emma Tallon and it has moved on three years, after the last book, I was sure that Anna and Tanya would struggle to hang onto what they had and we see a stronger more determined Anna in this new story. My favourite books to read are series as you get to see more about the characters and their back story as it evolves so I hope that there will be a few more of Emma's books to go yet.
