Denise Linn’s personal journey began as a result of a near-death experience at age 17. Her life-changing experiences and remarkable recovery set her on a spiritual quest that led her to explore the healing traditions of many cultures, including those of her own Cherokee ancestors, the Aborigines in the Australian bush, and the Zulus in Bophuthatswana. She trained with a Hawaiian kahuna (shaman), and Reiki Master Hawayo Takata. She was also adopted into a New Zealand Maori tribe. In addition, Denise lived in a Zen Buddhist monastery for more than two years. Denise is an internationally renowned teacher in the field of self-development. She’s the author of the bestseller Sacred Space and the award-winning Feng Shui for the Soul, and has written 16 books, which are available in 24 languages. Denise has appeared in numerous documentaries and television shows worldwide, gives seminars on six continents, and is the founder of the International Institute of Soul Coaching®, which offers professional certification programs in life coaching.
First, let me say that I absolutely adore Denise Linn on her Hay House internet radio show, Soul Coaching. However, this book is silly and overall not that good. Done in the whimsical illustrations that would be familiar to anyone that has read Tera Catherine Collins books (Feng Shui for Prosperity, romance, et al), this book is a like an unfilled peach cobbler put out for a bake sale: full of delicious potential but lacking in follow through.
Done in the A to Z format, per the title, Mrs. Linn writes short paragraphs on topics ranging from plants ("To maintain a cleansed environment, it's valuable to have a few plants in your home") to Sacred dance to Ghosts. For me, someone who requested it from the library because of the author's credibility, it was underwhelming. If you are inspired to get this book to flip through it and get some intuitively guided ideas (ex. I'm going to IKEA to get some ferns because that resonated for me), then this book has served its purpose. But, my suggestion is to get it from the library rather than purchase it. It's not worth it when a quick internet search can handle all of your space clearing inquires.
Um livro que nos apresenta conceitos de Feng Shui e de Space Clearing (limpeza energética) como um glossário, mas com muito pormenor e informações importantes.
