About the author

Denise Linn’s personal journey began as a result of a near-death experience at age 17. Her life-changing experiences and remarkable recovery set her on a spiritual quest that led her to explore the healing traditions of many cultures, including those of her own Cherokee ancestors, the Aborigines in the Australian bush, and the Zulus in Bophuthatswana. She trained with a Hawaiian kahuna (shaman), and Reiki Master Hawayo Takata. She was also adopted into a New Zealand Maori tribe. In addition, Denise lived in a Zen Buddhist monastery for more than two years.
Denise is an internationally renowned teacher in the field of self-development. She’s the author of the bestseller Sacred Space and the award-winning Feng Shui for the Soul, and has written 16 books, which are available in 24 languages. Denise has appeared in numerous documentaries and television shows worldwide, gives seminars on six continents, and is the founder of the International Institute of Soul Coaching®, which offers professional certification programs in life coaching.

I’ve returned to this deck multiple times throughout the years. The guidance is universal and really hones into carving out a coaching path for yourself, clients, or friends and family. The card stock is thick and though I’m not a huge fan of the artwork, the accompanying guidebook does offer some extensive interpretations of the cards. Also, the little affirmation phrases on the cards are positive and supportive.

I love these cards and got them as a gift before I knew about the book, Soul Coaching. The deck of cards comes with a small book that helps interpret each card drawn. You don't need to have read the book Soul Coaching by Denise Linn in order to get value from this deck of oracle cards. In fact, the book is a totally different type of journey.

I like the art and how "sunny" the cards feel. The words are nice, too. I just felt that overall, this deck is rather vague. It could have been much more with a little more attention to the content.
