I took some time, but I finished it. It is a very cursory introduction to statistical analysis, either univariate or multivariate. Useful to get a general overview of the field, but it won't help you too much in mastering the subject. The multivariate aspect is specially understated, but it allows you to focus on the use of the tools instead of the theory.

One of the best introduction to the craft. You could easily have called this book "bi-directional translation of the world of numbers to the world of words"

This is a gentle introduction to the subject. It's OK as an introduction, but it is missing some topics such as principal component analysis.

i LOVED this book! mind you, i am NOT a math person and i really struggled in my stats class. but this book made a lot of things clear that i couldn't understand from other sources. i only wish it went into logistic regression.
