The continuation of Ezra and Quin did not disappoint. Quinn was heartbroken over her miscarriage and it hurt too much to be around Ezra so, she ended things before they could really began for them. I was really ticked off at Quinn for breaking Ezra's heart but, I understand that she not only needed time to heal but, she needed to figure out who she was as a person. I just hate they spent more than half the book apart. They didn't get back together until damn near at the end. But, I was so happy Quinn and Ezra were able to have another baby. She got the life and the HEA she deserved. Patrick and Chante's grimy azzes also got what they deserved. She did all that scheming just to end up pregnant and alone. And, I can't believe Patrick was sleeping with Desi's homely azz too. Scratch that. Yes I can. It was good to see Kiersten and Carter still thriving but, why didn't we find out the gender or name of their baby?!!! I kept waiting for it to come up in the epilogue but, it never did. It's a little odd that the author didn't give us that information. I really wanted to know what they had. Break My Fall was the perfect end to this series. I absolutely loved these characters and the bond they have with one another. Seeing everyone get their HEA did something to my spirit.
Quinn and Ezra were soulmates, best friends and lovers at some point in each other’s lives. They were in love and in denial due to it being buried under hurt, pain and the past.
Quinn was pampered sure, but needed attention and companionship. She was a sweetheart and everyone loved her. She was that chick! But underneath she was broken. Jackass husband, loveless parents, an overachiever and lonely. All she had was Keri and Ezra and Carter by extension.
Ezra was ride or die for Quinn. He was down for “whatever, wherever, whenever ba ba baaaabbbbbeeee” or whatever Maxwell says! She always had his heart and thought when he finally expressed it he’d gotten his happy ever after. He was loving and caring as well as a go getter when it came to his businesses. A devastating event happened and their relationship spiraled leaving brokenness and unaddressed trauma and unanswered questions about where they stood with each other.
Quinn pushed him away. But something had to give. “I thought that by putting on a brave face, I’d find a way to skate my way through it, but all that did was allow it to build up, now, it was nearly bubbling over. I hated it. Not only did it make me feel weak, it made me feel as if I were a burden.” This quote was so real for so many women.
He was they to catch her tho every time she fell. Beautiful
The continuation of Ezra and Quin didnt disappoint. Quinn decided she needed a break from Ezra and he granted it to her. Quinn took the time to get herself together, but that ex of hers tried to get her back and she thinking about it, until he finally showed his true colors and she finally said no. Ezra moved on and found someone to occupy his time, but he still loved Quinn. When Quinn finally broke down, she called Ezra and as always he was there for her. Ezra and Quinn were bestfriends , but Ezra always loved her and wanted more. He picked the right time to tell her how he really felt about her and still gave her all the time she needed to make her decision. I loved this book and felt the love between them. Patrick, Chante and Desi got what they deserved. This was a fabulous ending to this series and I wanted more, but it gave me all I needed!!!!
Quinn finally got it together and went to get her man!! I’m glad they worked it out and came back together cause I know Ezra was pretending to be happy dating Ava when we all know he clearly was not!! It was so sweet to see Ezra and Quinn was able to have a successful pregnancy the second time around and be able to start the family they wanted. SN: I’m glad Ezra beat Patrick up cause he needed that beating for the way he treated Quinn, she was so good to him and didn’t deserve any of that.
Ohhhh... I love Ezra! The patience he had with Quinn, even while she was pushing him away, was admirable. No matter how hard he tried to ignore his feelings for her, they were always front and center. I'm glad Quinn took the time she needed to heal. I just hated that she hurt Ezra in the process. Happy to see Carter and Keirsten thriving. That damn Patrick was just a evil, selfish, ass! Glad all his deeds came to light. In the end, Ez and Quinn find their happy. Enjoyed it! 👍👍👍
The best couple to end with....Quinn and Ezra. Quinn really kept me wanting to wring her neck! Her fragility covered a layer of strength that I was rooting for her to find. Ezra, Keri and Carter were there playing the background, giving her little pushes along the way. Quinn and Ezra finally get there chance at happiness, only for it to be ripped away. 1-click and find out if Ezra is able to finally catch Quinn!
I love these two. Quinn was trying to be everything for everyone like I do. That damn Patrick no good ass wants to be a husband on his damn time. Desi dirty ass side chick. I love the bond that they all shared as friends. Rome crazy ass had me crying laughing, he was everything!! You Queen you did the damn thing with this series!! Thank you lady....Awesome
Poor Quinn went through so much and I felt so bad for her. I was so happy for her went she pulled herself out of it and did what he had to do and found her happiness. Ezra was man enough to love her but let her find her own way. Patrick was a sucka for treating her the way he did. I liked how they all had each other’s back. Great way to end a great series.
Quinn and Ezra deserves each other. The love they have for one and another is truly amazing. Ava was a good one, she did what was best for her heart. This book was truly amazing loved every second of this series.
Quinn and Ezra just may be 1 of my favorite friends to lovers trope. I was annoyed the Ez tried to move on with a Ava. It was a good thing Ava was able to discern what was really good! Patrick turned out to be a real high class f boy!
I was hoping that Quinn and Ezra would find a way back to the other. Quinn's husband Patrick was a dirty nasty dog, and he deserved what he got along with his smutty accomplice. K and Carter are too cute together. The conclusion was nice. This was nice!
Ughhh!!! The author did not mention if Keri and Carter had a boy or girl. That was crazy. Patrick got exactly what he deserved. Desi deserved more than a fussing at. Finally, Quinn and Ezra got it together.
I’m happy everything worked out in the end between Quinn & Ez . I’m also happy chante got the hand she was dealt lol and Patrick as well . you guys never disappoint me
I loved this finale! Karma is bih! Patrick got every bit of what he deserved! I loved how Ez loved Quinn he could have left the situation alone. But real love conquers all
Quinn's high school reunion was suppose to be a nice getaway from the drama in her life but the dynamic of her friendship with Ezra starts to change. After Quinn suffers a major loss she pushes the people who love her the most away and goes into hiding. Determined to get her life back on track Quinn makes a plan to pull herself out of her depression. Meanwhile Patrick is determined to get his wife back by any means necessary but as secrets get exposed his chances of getting Quinn back are looking slim. Ezra never thought he would get Quinn only to lose her so quickly. Now that Ezra is forced to move on he finds a new lady but the love he has for Quinn cant be replaced and fate brings former best friends back together.
Poor Quinn went through so much in this book. Her piece of shit husband Patrick wanted his wife back but also wanted his side chicks, buddy was doing Quinn so wrong that I didn't feel an ounce of remorse for him when that karma hit him. Quinn gave up her life for that bum so I was happy to see her get exactly what she wanted in life. Glad she came to her senses and got her best friend and man back. Ezra tried to give Quinn up and be what Ava needed but he just couldn't let Quinn go.
Skye moon is always giving us a great story with amazing friendships, I have not been disappointed with a Skye moon read yet.
