Harlem Hex

Rate this book
A mage murdered two people in broad daylight in the middle of Harlem. I get twelve hours to ensure there aren't more.

These days, New York is full of monsters. But a murder of two in broad daylight is unusual even for Harlem.

Worse, the murder weapon seems to be magic, which puts a spotlight on the Mage Guild. The grandmaster thus instantly hires a private investigator to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

That investigator is me, Lucas Johnson.

And I don't like this case. Since death is the punishment for revealing the existence of magic to anyone who isn't a witch or mage, things like this just don't happen.

But the two corpses cannot be argued with. And I can't shake the feeling that if I don't solve this within a day, there will be more.

Many more.

Join the intriguing investigation in this fast-paced urban fantasy thriller full of action.

Lucas works as a free lancer for the Mage Guild of NY.Having a fallen angel in him helps but his methods are not always ethical but he does get the job done. Interest and well worth reading.

This was my first introduction to this series but I will definitely be checking it out. I liked the magical elements combined with a main character that is definitely not a typical good guy.
