The first story was a good introduction for Licorice Dust and Boo Cat, was quite entertaining, although I have problems with some of LD's poses. Boo's a character that I think just t add more sex to the series with fun touches, it's whoo seems the most comprehensive so far, after Raven, of course. The second one was entertaining as well, but there was something strange about it. Why a werewolf? It just seems like Balent wanted to put him there in the first way that occured to him and it works somehow, but not as much as it should I must say. The third comic was... dear lord... strange, bizarre, traumatic and the darkest so far. I always thought in lost-broken toys as evil little things, but issue #13 gave it all a new meaning. I really liked how Balent twisted the Frankenstein monster into something satanic and sexy. #14 was really funny! It was great to see something filled with light and with more pagan references, it was what the story needed to recover its essence, which was losing itself among so much darkness, blood and horror. Also, it was the most sexual... by now. Jon has my respects xD ¡#14 fue muy divertido ! Jon tiene mis respetos xD The next issue was slightly darker. I liked to know better why Crypt Chick is the way she is, what is going on inside of her head, and, most importantly, makes us remember that we only have this life, probably, so we should make the most of it while we can.
Girlie Bones!! Two of Tarot's past lovers, Boo Cat (the werecat) and Licorice Dust(the vampire) come to Salem. "We don't choose with our heads, we choose them with our hearts... They may even come in many forms male, female, cat or bat."
Vampire cheerleaders. Naked Tarot pinned and gagged by demonic dolls. A giant Queen Troll going twang, twang, twang! on Jon's thang! And her nipple handcuffs! Just a sample of the fun from Jim Balent and his partner in crime colorist/letter Holly Golightly. Goofy adult fun with a ro-busty imagination.
