I never asked for this. But that's what they all say, right? I'm just a suburbanite mom who does zumba on Tuesdays and picks her kids up from school for playdates. Thanks to an unfortunate accident with chemical from my husband's lab, I've got powers. Stand aside, Wonder Woman, hell hath no fury like a mother scorned. When drug dealers come for my son, they better be ready to face what I've these kinetic frying pans aren't going to wield themselves. I'm saving the neighborhood one criminal at a time.

A terrific little read. A car accident that turns a surburbian mom into a superhero. When her car is totalled she comes out of her coma a few hours later in hospital. Her wounds are nearly healed but strange things are happening. Her hearing is uncanny and that's when she finds out that her scientist husband has been working on a new formula, a formula that had been in the car with her and now she had taken it into her body. Watch as she deals with super strength, visions, speed and a purple energy. What will she do when her children's lives are at risk? Super Mom to the rescue. Nicely done with tight action and without being over the top. The rest of the characters are as normal as any that you could meet anywhere and there reaction to her changes are as well.
This is a fun, short story about Sam who was an everyday housewife until a car accident turns her into a superhero. I loved getting to see how Sam and her family dealt with her powers and the change in their lives. The writing is great and the story is entertaining. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Super Sam is a quick fun read! Sam goes from housewife to superhero after an accident, and life will never be the same. Full of action, comedy and family life, Super Sam kept my interest piqued. Very enjoyable and highly recommended for those looking for a change from everday mom duties.
What a great, fun, story. I enjoyed meeting Sam and her family. The premise behind the book is appealing. If only superheroes were real!! I'm really hoping to learn more about this family and see what kinds of fun Sam can get herself into. She seems like a cool person to hang out with. The story is a fast read and will put a smile on your face.
